9. What Happened!!
Matthew POV
It was so amazing sitting and talking with Renee. I'm pretty confident I made my intentions clear. She agreed to come over tomorrow, I know I'm going to have to have a talk with her about the whole Alpha werewolf thing, but her daughter Reya is most definitely a wolf, my wolf has accepted her as our own, and the bond between Reya and Ethan is undeniable. I can feel it our family will be completed together.
I'm still day dreaming about my beautiful mate and how amazing it is going to be when we are officially mated. Suddenly I heard the front door being banged on, not a knock, a frantic banging. I rushed down stairs with my shirt unbuttoned and my jeans undone, ready to shift if need be. I see Tristan rushing for the front door in the same state of disarray as me.
" Go check on Ethan, I got the door " I called out to him. Tristan took a quick turn and headed toward Ethans room.
I ripped the door open the door almost completely ripped off the hinges, the door sitting slightly tilted I see two young girls from the pack they look like they have been in a fight.
"Girl? what's wrong did you get in a fight with someone?" I'm still on edge and my wolf is sure we are about o get bad news.
"Ashlynn? Sam?" Tristan came rushing to the front door. "What happens to you guys? Ashlynn I saw your car from the upstairs window what happened? Tristan questioned. Care? I stepped around the girls to look to the front circular drive way. sure enough the care has scraps all along the passenger side and massive dents in the trunk area, what could have happened?
"Alpha, Alpha we are so sorry. We tried to get away but there were at least 10 men and they drove us off the road." Sam rushed out.
"Come inside girls we need to get a hold of your parents, I stated to usher the banged up girls inside.
"But Alpha," Ashlynn stopped grabbing my arm in a panic. "They took her. and we have been unconscious for hours already. We have to find her."
"Who?" I asked is someone from the pack missing?
"Crap....Aja." Tristan growled.
"My mate's daughter Aja? my wolf was on the verge of a forced shift.
"We need to find her." Tristan sternly says putting his hand on my shoulder reminding me to call down and showing his ability to lead, he is going to be a great Alpha. " Come into the office we need to get as much information as possible. And text your parents to come to the Alphas house, now!" he finished.
I turned and lead the way to my office. We are hours behind, and who would take Aja, and why.
"Start please." I asked the girls
Sam started, "Well we were out with Aja. We went ice skating and got some food, then a man came up to us as we were leaving the restaurant, it looked like Aja knew him. She looked kinda panicked and told us to hurry to the car. "
"I asked if we should call you Alpha, because that guy was definitely a wolf too. But Aja looked at me like I was crazy, " Ashlynn continued.
So a strange wolf who Aja knows, someone related to her maybe.
"Then we took off and Aja said not to lead the man back to her house, so we started driving toward here. But we were across town." Ashlynn is sounding panicked now.
"I didn't realize we were being followed." Sam sobbed "the car hit us from nowhere. The airbags went off and we spun out and were in a ditch, Aja was in the back seat."
Ashlynn continued "Sam was unconscious and in was pretty dizzy, but I looked back and asked Aja how she was. She said she was ok then the back door flew open and I heard a loud pop, I covered my ears and saw smoke and Aja's legs kicking and that's it. As soon as we came to we came straight here, that was at like 8.
