Ch 61 – How to Deal With Time Fuckers

Within an open, void white room, thousands, nay, tens of thousands of humanoid beings could be seen standing around wearing a white robe that covers their whole body having golden designs running along the priest robe they were all wearing. The whole void remained silent while all of them looks at the golden circle floating in front of them all and Magneto kneels down right in front of the circle as if they were all waiting for something from the circle.

Soon, as if magic, they all saw a slight spark erupting from the golden circle and as it spun around in a circular manner, the blue spark became bigger and bigger until it formed a blue portal in front of all of them. Murmuring what appears to be prayers, they all bowed down their hands to the floor and look at the glowing blue portal with devotion, cultic devotion.

As a singular, pale white hand pierces through the blue portal, their breaths came to a halt and they all waited for the being to come into full view.

From a hand to legs, their torso, and finally their head, everyone came into an uproar of praises and cheers for their God, Freidrich Braun has appeared.

"Quiet!" Magneto shouts, standing up from the ground as everyone else halts their voices, the fear striking up to their spines.

"Now don't be so harsh, Magneto," Braun said, an amicable smile flashing on his face as everyone in the crowd felt their hearts skip a beat and tears fell down their cheeks.

"MY LORD!" everyone shouts without reserve, their heads bashing down to the ground and blood pools everywhere but they kept doing it, their mind and soul fully devoted to Braun that the pain they were experiencing doesn't matter.

"Now now, we don't want to accidentally stain our robes now do we?" Braun said as everyone suddenly finds themselves floating in the middle of a black void, and with a single glance to their sides, they found themselves orbiting around Earth.

"Now that my business in the otherworld is finished, we could finally do what we all wanted to achieve," Braun said, his fingers snapping and everyone found the blue world turning into a haven, millions of angels wearing their robes flying around bringing prosperity and blessings of God to the ignorant masses.

"Those angels that you see, those angels will be you!" Braun said, snapping his fingers once more and everyone in the cult suddenly lets out guttural screams of pain, their white robes intertwining with their flesh while their mortal coils disappear away, turning into flakes of light as everyone within the cult was reborn into a new form, Angels.

Floating above all of them, Braun glances at them with joyful eyes and he continues to warp reality around them to bring those angels untold power, for his grand scheme is about to be enacted that relies on countless variables all around the world, but for him, knowledge is power, and he is nigh-omniscient.

Soon, everyone lets out high-pitched screams, like tunes of an orchestra flowing into his very mind as he joyfully laughs, fully showing the system what he could do for this is just another part of his plan.

"Let's all start Phase 2, The World Over Heaven," Braun said, a grin flashing on his face as his glowing humanoid angles kneels down on the ground, each of them seemingly divine not only in power but in existence as a whole, but that doesn't matter when they faced their God.

Snapping his finger one more time, his plan now delves into Phase 2 which will lead into Phase 3.

(An Unknown Amount of Time Later)

Standing in the middle of a metallic stage, Braun glances around him with an amicable smile as he heard the loud cheers of everyone around him, the students of Zenith Academy, the people of Academy City, the people from countless news agencies, all wanting to capture the grand event of Braun challenging the 10 Kings.

Looking at the 10 Kings sitting on their respective thrones in front of him, he grins and waves at the people around him.

"Good morning, everyone!" the announcer shouts through the mic making everyone cheer louder as the event was about to officially start.

"To think we would have this grand of an event out of nowhere was truly surprising, but even as a surprise, we at Academy City are more than prepared to handle anything thrown our way!" the announcer shouts, showing a masterful understanding of how to promote Academy City and rile up the crowd at the same time without fail.

"Buckle up everyone, have your water and snacks prepared, and don't forget to breathe while watching them fight in a few minutes because we don't want to accidentally faint now do we? Now all the formalities are done, let us get to the fight already! For this event's challenger is none other than the myth, the legend, Freidrich Braun himself!" the announcer shouts as the audience cheers louder, the floating drones everywhere panning their cameras to Braun who waves at the crowd with an amicable smile.

"Born and raised with no parents, living a life of poverty and having a hard time in Academy City as a Level 0, he rose through the trials and tribulations like a fiery phoenix rising from its ashes! Transforming into a grand Level 5 Esper within months and becoming a legend in countless areas across the world! Known as the legendary CEO of the Phoenix Company which became a mega-corporation under his rule, from pharmaceutical to health, agriculture, technology, and even entertainment, he conquered them all with an iron hand!" the announcer shouts, listing out his feats and abilities for the whole world.

"Not only that, but he is also the legendary FB of the trading world, capable of dictating the rise and fall of countless companies like a prophet of the century, from starting with a measly 10 dollars to now a multi-billionaire, his legend shows what hard work and playing smart could bring to you!"

"Now, he is going to challenge the 10 Kings of Academy City for the title of the Immortal King and add another tale to his legend, from mortal man to God amongst Gods! Will our hero prevail in this grand epic series of battles, or will the 10 Kings thwart his plans and show him his hubris, we could only find out by watching this event unfold!" the announcer shouts.

"But before that, would our challenger Freidrich Braun deliver us a speech?" the announcer shouts as a drone floats in front of Braun holding a mic.

"Of course, I would like to bring a speech for the whole world to hear," Braun said, grabbing the mic as a horde of drones surround him from all sides to fully capture the moment.

Tapping the mic, a loud ringing was heard as Braun clears his throat.

"Living in this world for a grand 15 years, I could safely say I have faced my fair share of challenges, from living as an orphan to being bullied at school, it was a pretty harsh world to live in. But I rose through the challenges and became the man I am right now, but do you know what I found out now that I stand at this level?" Braun said, stopping his speech to catch everyone's attention.

"Is that this world… is unfair, nobody was born equal! Nothing, nothing is purely equal! Everyone is either weaker or stronger than one another, this world is so… imperfect! Everyone is wishing for an existence like heaven or God, to pray to a higher being to grant them salvation… but, that would simply not work! Do you want to know why, the answer that I found after getting enlightenment?" Braun said, catching the people all around the world's attention fully with his hypnotic voice.

"It's because… if we don't take care of the matter ourselves, then it simply won't happen, that's how the reality we live in works! There's no God to help us, no heaven to fall into upon death, why would God help us when the world we literally live in is HELL?! Due to that, I finally found a way to attain heaven, it's not to put heaven over earth, nay! IT IS TO BRING THE WORLD OVER HEAVEN ITSELF!" Braun said in an uproar, snapping his fingers as his charisma roars into life, the crystalline entities watching the live feed being influenced fully and as everyone saw multiple portals appear in the sky above Braun, they saw a colossal metallic structure appear out of nowhere along with multiple blue portals.

"Crystalline Entities, extraterrestrial aliens that appear from outer space millions of years ago, granting power to humankind dating back to Ancient Egypt, the Gods of Olympus being mankind who attained the help of these godly beings, but I plan to harness their power for ourselves, to transform the whole race of humankind into GODS!" Braun shouts as everyone saw multiple crystal constructs fly through the blue portals, each crystal entering into its respective slot as the whole world went into an uproar.

But out of nowhere, without anyone even expecting it, they watch Braun suddenly be flung far away into the distance and crashing against the stage's forcefield, a man suddenly glitching into existence.

His appearance was ragged, having long brown hair that reaches below his neck and an unruly beard, wearing a brown cloak covering his whole body while the space around him warps that light itself bend around him.

"Tsk, Matt Garetty, I have been waiting for you!" Braun said, standing up as if he wasn't just slammed with enough force to kill a man and form a grin on his face.

"You know what these aliens can do Freidrich! You know they would transform everyone into their mindless drones and raze the world into the ground!" Matt said, clearly showing an understanding of Braun's plan as Braun shakes his head in disappointment.

"I'm disappointed in you, Matt. Having the power to change the world as you see fit but instead went into hiding as what, a monk? A hermit? I plan to change the world, Matt! I'll be the God of this new world, to change humanity as a whole into a superior species!" Braun shouts, his voice resounding throughout the whole world but everyone remained in a trance due to Braun's overbearing charisma.

"I already tried that Freidrich! I was once like you! I once tried to change the world into a better one, but it's futile! Just give up already, you don't know what you are doing! You're putting the whole world in danger if you give these crystals control over the whole world!" Matt shouts while reality around them warps to their whim, their bodies creating countless afterimages in their wake while they move at speeds faster than light.

"You are the one who is ignorant Matt! I know what these crystals want! I talked with the one who gave you your abilities, Matt! I talked with Mogo! I know what I need to do, unlike you, I'm willing to be the bad guy to bring prosperity!" Braun shouts, their fists colliding causing ruptures in space-time, a multitude of fissures appearing in the air around them.

"Why won't you listen to me! You don't know what I can do Freidrich! I have been alive for multiple decades, I have trained my abilities beyond the level of Gods! I could end this all with a whim, and I'm only continuing this because I know you are only doing this for what you deem is good!" Matt said, his body appearing directly in front of Braun at incomprehensible speeds and grabbing him by the throat, his soul being pulled out of his body as Matt's eyes glow golden.

"Try me! You know you won't be able to kill me! You and I know that we as reality warpers are virtually invincible, I'll just keep coming back in the future with my countless backup plans and continue to fulfill my goal!" Braun shouts with a malicious smirk.

"But I'm beyond you, Freidrich! Unlike you, I can travel through time without disrupting the time stream!" Matt shouts, causing Braun to widen his eyes in horror.

"Don't tell me, you're not going to do this! I still have to bring salvation to everyone!" Braun shouts, his translucent hands desperately grabbing onto Matt's arm but to no avail as the ripples of time around them already start to bend to Matt's whim.

"I'm sorry, Freidrich. But I must do what I deem the greater good," Matt said, his body disappearing away while Braun widen his grins as the timeline he was in slowly got destroyed.

"And that's how you execute a plan that relies on time fuckers," Braun said, his body dissipating away as the reality he was in disappears under Matt's influence on the past.

Well I basically have the perfect setting for how it may happen, and I have the looper already set out to go to that certain place.

Now, will it be a time loop trying to survive an imposter amogus sussy baka or something like that? Probably no, it will be too hard to execute. And that's why it would probably be a yes, because I'm scared of writing time loops, and that's a problem because looping will be an integral part of Volume 6.
