Ch 55 – Braun Versus Elizabeth Part 2 (Extra Chapter)
As the white card ingrained with gold lines flies on stage, it erupts into a flash of white light that slowly forms a gigantic dragon in front of Slime.
"T-T-THE RUMORS ARE TRUE! Elizabeth did catch an Ice Dragon in Luzar!" Seeing the Ice Dragon for themselves, the crowd lets out roars of excitement at the twist of events once more and wonders who would win, the slime who defied all odds or the Level 8 Ice Dragon, a monster of legends and myths dating back thousands of years ago.
As everyone watches with bated breaths, Slime felt its body being enhanced and the world around it slowing down to a vast degree, grinning, both man and slime strengthening their bonds once more at the face of this mighty beast.
"Ice Dragon, finish this fight already," Elizabeth orders, roaring, the Ice Dragon lets a beam of ice out of its mouth within a split second towards Slime, creating an explosion of blue, cold mist made out of ice particles clouding everyone's vision.
"Has the legendary slime finally been defeated by the Ice Dragon?!"
No, as everyone watches with their hearts thumping, a blur suddenly runs around the arena, and multiple slime bullets smashed against the thick hide of the Ice Dragon to no avail as not even a slight scratch was made against its crystal blue scales.
[Piercing – Level 1]
But soon, Elizabeth raises her eyebrow upon seeing the scales of her Ice Dragon suddenly being broken down on where the bullets hit, causing her mind to be alerted at this sudden change.
"Ice Dragon, freeze the whole stage!" Elizabeth shouts, hearing her order, the Ice Dragon roars, and a blizzard of ice and snow covers the whole arena causing the Slime to halt in place as it felt its body being riddled with ice and freezing in place.
[Ice Immunity – Level 1]
But out of nowhere, the ice around its body suddenly just slides away as if it was not affected by the cold weather, but that was impossible due to its body being liquid-like which should have frozen it to death.
Grinning, Slime transforms its two gun hands into two gigantic fists while the guns on its back on the ends of its tentacles combine into two gigantic fists, causing its humanoid body to transform into a 4 armed Braun that has gigantic fists.
"What's this ladies and gents! The Slime has finally decided to get up close and personal with the Ice Dragon using a flurry of blows from its comically large fists!"
Appearing directly in front of the Ice Dragon, Slime transforms both of its right hands into a more gigantic one and slams it straight to the Ice Dragon's head, but as Braun expected, the Ice Dragon's head didn't even budge while it lets out icy mist from its nostrils.
Spinning its body, Slime saw the tail swooping towards it at rapid succession and hastily teleported away, its left arms forming into one, more gigantic arm like the right side many times bigger than its body.
Rearing its fist back farther than it should be due to Slime's slimy body, his right fist inflates bigger while the Ice Dragon shoots a beam of ice at it.
Teleporting away from the place where the beam of ice would hit, the ends of the slime's knuckles transform into sharp, slime spikes harder than steel. Appearing directly to the left of the dragon, Slime sends its fist forward like a catapult and clashes directly into the Dragon's neck, the sound of crystals shattering was heard as its fist pierces through the indestructible scales and tough hide, the feeling of icy cold blood coating its right arm made Slime's grin widens.
Now, what do you think would happen when something like a liquid, a liquid that was sentient, was to enter an animal's bloodstream and the liquid could just inflate its body at will?
'NOW!' Braun shouts, and in tandem, Slime's fist rapidly enters through the holes pricked by its right fist and felt its tendrils invading the Ice Dragon's stream of blood like an invasive liquid, its invasion alone caused the Ice Dragon to roar in pain as the Ice Dragon felt its neck being constricted and covered by something, it was experiencing something so painful its body trashed around the stage.
"AHHH!" the slime shouts, its humanoid body losing form as it slowly entered the bloodstream of the Ice Dragon whole, from the neck to its head and stomach at the same time, the slime went to cut countless veins and covered the inside of the Ice Dragon in its blue, slimy body.
"What are you doing!" Elizabeth shouts in horror as she watches snake-like veins wriggling around her poor Ice Dragon's body, especially on the neck as she saw it suffocating to death.
"I'm using the power of biology!" Braun cackles like a maniac as everyone silently watches the Ice Dragon trashing on stage, its body begging for the pain to end as the blizzard got stronger, the whole stage getting covered by snow from the enraging storm of snow and ice.
"Slime! INFLATE!" Braun shouts with a booming voice, and like he commanded a bomb to explode, the audience watches in horror when the whole body of the Ice Dragon inflates at a rapid pace. It was like a scene straight from a horror movie, from the liquid slime flowing through the Dragon's ice, mouth, nose, ears, and even the butthole, like tiny little maggots chewing through a dead corpse.
Gagging, Elizabeth clutches her mouth and felt her stomach dropping upon seeing the horrible power of that slime, to think it could do such horror to an almighty Dragon that she struggled to catch in Luzar.
With a final slap like enacting divine punishment, Braun watches with cold eyes when the Dragon explodes into blood and gore, its body changing into motes of countless light within a split second and forming a white card that shoots back to Elizabeth whose eyes turned into a death glare directed at him and his slime who returned to human form, its body coated in liquid blood which is simply absorbed into its body.
"YoU, yOU, YOU! YOU HEARTLESS BASTARD!" Elizabeth shouts, her teeth gnashing with one another as she points at Braun with a crooked index finger.
"What? I only did what I can do to win! Did you really expect a fucking slime of all things to defeat an almighty Level 8 DRAGON?! ARE YOU DOMB?! It's a miracle that I even defeated your dragon because you were stupid enough to just let my slime keep punching it even when you knew it can pierce through its scales and hide!" Braun said, shaking his head in disappointment but he knew all well that Elizabeth's mind was affected by Deus Ex Machina and making her dumber, causing her to do unoptimized orders.
But that seems to have awakened her mind back to clarity as her eyes dilate in shock, looking at him with wide eyes, she shakes her head awake and took a deep breath.
"Tsk, it seems like I indeed got a bit illogical on that last part. But now, I'll show you why they call me the Ice Princess!" Elizabeth shouts, taking out her last card from nowhere and with only a single glance, Braun's grin widens as one of his simulated realities could perhaps become real, a "timeline" that could be considered the most optimal.
"Come out! ANCIENT ICE DRAGON!" Elizabeth shouts, throwing the card at full force and spinning through the air like a sharp sword, and as it erupts into white light, the appearance of a gigantic, no… titanic Ice Dragon was formed with a darker shade of blue, its body more jagged and rigid as if it endured through countless storms of ice and snow, its eyes fuming with anger while its mouth showed its jagged teeth.
"WHAT?! AN ANCIENT ICE DRAGON?! Who could have thought that there wasn't just an Ice Dragon at Luzar, but also an ancient one?! Now, what would happen in this legendary fight of the century! Would our slime who best all odds win against a god-like entity, or would this divine monster defeat the slime for its hubris!" the announcer shouts, his voice even cracking from the sheer blazing vigor of the occurring fight.
"Use ice beam to the sky and strengthen the blizzard, then form an ice armor around you and constantly regenerate it," Elizabeth orders, her voice turning cold like a tactician, and the A.I.D followed her order without hesitation, pointing its head up and shooting a beam of ice and Braun watches the blizzard on stage get stronger.
Summoning a suit of armor around its already nigh-indestructible body, the A.I.D roars and summons multiple beams of ice straight to Slime from multiple directions all around the stage, whether it be north, west, south, east, up, down, twisting, and homing, those ice beams shoot straight towards Slime.
Feeling its body instinctively moving, Slime barely dodges those beams as its concentration was fully put on dodging.
But that was a mistake upon hearing Elizabeth's next order. "I.D, ice pillar up, forward."
Without hesitation, an ice pillar suddenly erupts from the ground below Slime shooting high into the air causing the tens of ice beams to home in on his body, encasing it in a casing of ice while a pillar of ice manifest in front of the A.I.D, twisting its body, it hurls its tail forward to the ice pillar, shooting it forward with a sonic boom and watches it clash with Slime's body, exploding it into countless bits and pieces as its body splattered to the wall once more.
"Is this finally it ladies and gents! Has the slime finally been defeated by the masterful orders of Ice Princess and the beautiful execution of the Ancient Ice Dragon!" the announcer shouts while the crowd cheers at Elizabeth's victory.
"I don't know your exact power but your tricks won't work on me anymore, now that you can't make me act dumb, your defeat is already a given," Elizabeth coldly said while her ice gleams light blue after regaining her calm.
"I must admit, Elizabeth, you've been a harder foe than I initially thought. But since you've finally regained clarity, I guess it's my turn to act dumb," Braun mysteriously said as Elizabeth looks at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Then act as dumb as you please," Elizabeth scorned with a condescending stare.
"Thank you… for being dumb one last time," Braun said as his grin widens, and without hesitation, everyone watches with wide eyes when Braun jumps off his metallic platform onto the stage.
"Hey hey hey! Freidrich! You don't need to act so irrationally in the face of defeat! We can talk this out, man!" the announcer shouts as everyone watches him land on his knees on the blizzard stage right beside Slime who slowly returned to its humanoid form.
"I have finally decided," Braun said as Elizabeth looks at him with an intrigued stare.
"That your name is going to be Vivy," Braun said as he raises his left arm towards Vivy.
"Thank you, master," Vivy said, raising his right arm to Braun and both bumped their fists against one another.
[Fusion – Level 1]
As both humanoid entities erupt into crimson and dark blue light, their bodies of light meld with one another, and the color formed a vortex of crimson and dark blue glow.
Watching the incredulous scene with wide eyes, the light changed from crimson and dark blue into a dark purple and formed a singular humanoid entity.
5'6 in height, wearing a white cloak over a violet shirt, a pair of black pants covering his whole lower body while a pair of black leather shoes covered his feet. His hair has the color of the dark void while his eyes were crimson red. His face was adorned with a smirk while his white cloak fluttered with the harsh wind of the blizzard.
"Come out, Vivy," Braun mutters as everyone awaited what is about to come.
[Materialized Guardian – Level 1]
Right beside him, everyone sees a humanoid entity manifest out of nowhere. With an appearance directly the same as Braun, but as a distinct twin, Vivy's hair was longer, directly reaching below his waist, his shirt was colored the same shade of violet, even his pants and leather shoes were the same along with the cloak, but his eyes were instead the color of light blue as if to reflect the hidden values of the two, one was crimson while the other was blue.
"Let's end this, Vivy," Braun said as Vivy nods his head.
As everyone watches a sword suddenly manifest a sword in Braun's hand, simple in design and made of wood, everyone was further confused about Braun's hidden ability.
"Do you want to know why Heroes always win in fairy tales, Elizabeth?" Braun asked, raising her eyebrow, Elizabeth decided to entertain Braun one last time.
"Hmm? And why is that so?" Elizabeth asked, leaning her body forward over the railing of her metallic platform.
"It's because everyone wants a story where the good guy wins! But unfortunately… I'm the bad guy in this story who stole the hero's plot armor!" Braun said, his body directly appearing in front of the A.I.D and swinging his wooden sword forward to the neck of the A.I.D, its wooden body suddenly elongating to fully slice through the A.I.D's neck.
And as everyone watches a red line suddenly appear from the neck of the A.I.D, their theory was proven true when the neck of the A.I.D slides right off the neck onto the ground and explodes into countless motes of light that shoot back to Elizabeth as a card.
"W-w-w-WHAT AN SPECTACULAR ENDING TO THIS STORY! TO THINK THE SLIME HAS FUSED WITH FREIDRICH BRAUN TO DO A STUPID FINAL ANIME POWER-UP BULLCRAP! COULD THIS GET ANY MORE ANIME THAN THIS BECAUSE HOLY SHIT! THIS FIGHT WAS SO FUCKING FULL OF TWISTS AND TURNS I ALMOST CHEWED OFF MY FINGERS FROM HOW MUCH I WAS BITING MY NAILS!"
Erupting into loud roars, everyone cheered for the final victor of this arc for Freidrich Braun has done it, he has achieved the optimal "timeline" where he has finally gained an ability that he had wanted to gain since he arrived in this world, and it's all correlated to the main themes of this arc of Victory!
