ch 42- He's back 4

Risa's POV-

Bala stood up and braced himself for the hit. He opened his hands like a tiger's jaw hoping to catch the dagger. Arsh just looked at him with a malicious face. The dagger was just one meter away from Bala when suddenly something surprising happened.

Somebody came in between them and caught the dagger swiftly. And it was none other than Givi. She was just beside me a second ago and now she was there. Bala and Arsh both looked at her with a shocked expressions.

"How did you catch my dagger?" Arsh said pointing his finger at her, trembling.

"Shut up. You took out your family's legendary dagger. Are you out of your mind?" Givi said with a cold tone.

"That is none of your business. Give it back to me." Arsh said recomposing himself.

"You are right. But maybe reconsider after thinking it through again?" Givi said in a commanding tone.

"Are you trying to threaten me with your father's position? I really don't care." Arsh said with a confident smile.

"Try me," Givi said looking straight into his eyes. There was tension in the atmosphere and everyone around could feel it. Now it was his turn to reply but he was quiet probably thinking it through.

"Here take this back and don't bother my friends," Givi said while tossing the dagger towards him.

"HAHAHA...Friends? Did you make friends? The world must really be ending. Do they know about your spirit? Whatever, none of my business." Arsh said putting the dagger away.

He turned around and left the auditorium. Givi also went to check on Bala.

"You are bleeding. Let's get out of here before anything else happens." Givi said while giving Bala a shoulder to hang on. I also ran to support them.

"Thanks for saving me." Bala thanked her smiling.

"Sorry for that. He is one of the heirs of the 3rd branch. But they are all under my father so don't worry." Givi tried to comfort Bala.

"Garden. Don't worry I know everything about you guys. His father, family, house no. everything. The one who needs to worry is the third branch." Bala replied.

Givi stopped in her tracks and took a good look at Bala. She wanted to say something but then stopped.

"Go on." Bala encouraged her to say whatever she was saying.

"What do you mean by that? Did he upset you too?" Givi asked concerned. I could get her concern she was afraid that she might lose her friends because of Arsh's mistake.

"I have already lost Mirik because of him. Now you guys too," she said in a sad voice.

"Don't worry my hate is only for the 3rd branch. You don't need to worry. I know you are a good person." Bala said in a cheering voice to uplift Givi's mood.

"Thanks...for understanding me," Givi said holding back her tears.

"What did he do to you anyway?" I asked the Bala and realized afterward I shouldn't have.

"He got my father killed."
