12 Trust vs. Mistrust

"Then make me understand. Don't make me look like a fool." she said

"No, it's not possible. I'm sorry loves" I bowed

"Why? Do you two have a relationship? Why you dont want to tell me? I'm jealous of her SHIT! I'm jealous of her because she's always with you, you talk to her, she makes you smile. Your attention is on her" suddenly her tears fell

"No, that's not true. We don't have a relationship. We're just friends. We're always together because it's in business. Daddy and Mr. Wills are partners in business. And they want us to get along as a friend." I said calmly as I held her face and wiped her tears.

"That's all?"

"Yes so please don't cry I was just jealous of that guy and I don't want to argue with you loves. So your okay now?" she didn't say a word

"And I love you so much Ria. Don't be jealous of Loraine when I'm with her, you're the one in my mind and heart. You're the only one who makes it beat." I took her hand and kissed it.

"And you are the only one I will love forever."

Ria's POV

In a relationship not everybody is always happy. Sometimes there is sad and hurts just because of jealousy, resentment, a little fight, doubt, lack of time for each other and lack of trust. But even if those are there, the word love will not disappear.

In Luke's answers the other day, I believed what he was saying and I knew it was true. I just can't help but be annoyed with him especially since he and Loraine are always together.

Loraine cling to Luke like a leech that cannot be removed. Can I pour alcohol on it? Girlfriend here! Does she not know the word taken? I should put a name tag on Luke that says My property or Im taken back off, it's annoying! Get ready Loraine, you're just a friend, I'm a girlfriend. GIRLFRIEND!!

I approached them in the garden. They were busy talking so they didn't know that I was behind them.

"Why babe? You should tell her now or else I'll be the one to tell her" said Loraine

"No, dont" said Luke

"Why? Cant you see? Your hurting her. Shall we just hide?"

Who is Loraine talking about? Am I the one they are talking about? And wait, did he call my Luke BABE?

I was about to join their conversation when someone called me

"Ria"

The two were shocked and Loraine immediately let go of Luke's arm.

"Were you there earlier? Did you hear us talking?" Luke asked me I didn't answer him I just looked at him but he looked away. So I'm the one they're talking about?

Aunt Vicky came to us.

"I've been looking for you for a while"

"Why aunty?" I ask

"Let's go for a walk at the mall now. We haven't bonded anymore" she said with a smile

"Yeah sure. I missed our company." I tried to smile in front of them despite how I was feeling right now.

"Ok then I'll wait for you. Get dressed now." aunt left and I go inside the house.

"Ria"

I didn't pay attention to him. I walked faster

"Ria wait"

Until I felt his hand holding me.

"Why? I'm in a hurry" I didn't look him in the eye

"I'm sorry" he said

My tears that wanted to come out fell on their own. He apologized. What I heard is true.

"Hey look at me please" he tried to touch my face

"I'm sorry Ria" why did he apologize?

I looked at him even though my vision was blurry because of the tears I still saw the sadness in his eyes.

Does he feel sorry for my situation now?

He wiped my tears

"I'm sorry"

I touched his face and gave him a smile

"I love you so much Luke" And I ran into the room.

After aunt Vicky and I went for a walk at the mall, she sent me home first because she said there was a problem at her flower shop. I didn't complain anymore because I knew that I would only get in the way there.

When I arrived at the mansion, I immediately went straight to the kitchen and drank water. I saw my mother approaching me.

"Why aren't you with ma'am?"

"She said there was a problem at her shop, so she sent me here first."

"By the way, Luke was waiting for you earlier"

"Why?"

"Oh, I dont know. Did you two fight? Because he was still in the room looking angry"

"Why did you say that?"

"I heard something broken and then screams"

"Alright, I'll check on him later"

"What are you looking at? Talk to that boy, it looks like he has a problem."
