11 Misunderstanding

Then he kiss my right ear makes me thrill.

"Ohh" I accidentally said and my knees were weak from what he did.

He just chuckle and whispered.

"That's your punishment."

"And why is that?" I glared at him

"Beacuse I've been talking to you here for a while but your just staring into nothing."

"Ah eh- what? Nothing" I stammered.

"What? I know you Ria so tell me now"

"Its nothing"

His face suddenly frowned.

"Oh, we're done, let's put it in the oven" I said and kissed him on the cheeks.

"Another one here" he said and pointed to his left cheek.

"Hmm ok mwuahh"

"Here too" He pointed to his lips with a grin smile.

"Mwuaah" then he hugged me

"I love you Ria" and he kissed my forehead

"I love you too Luke" I really couldn't ask for anything more from this man

"Ehmm"

I let go of the hug when someone clear his throat. Mr. Dela Cerna! It's embarrassing did he saw us? No way!

"Luke, Ms. Wills is in the living room waiting for you"

"What? I mean why?" he asked his daddy

"I don't know just go"

He looked at me asking for permission I nodded and turned around and go to the oven. What is she doing here?

"Son I talk to you later at my office" his daddy said seriously Mr. Dela Cerna's voice was really scary. Thats why I am uncomfortable with him sometimes.

"About?"

"You will know later"

"Okay dad"

And then they left, what were they talking about? Im worried.

Luke's POV

Loraine and I have been together for three days now wherever she goes I'm always by her side. Even though sometimes I'm too lazy to accompany her I can't dislike her because that's what daddy said and we had a conversation.

"Hey Luke are you listening to me?"

"Ah, what did you say?"

"So you don't listen to me"

"I'm sorry Loraine, I was just thinking about something. What did you say again?"

"Nah, just take me to my unit"

"But why? You said we were going to the mall"

"I changed my mind. Next time" she stood up and walked to the parking lot I just followed her.

I reached home late at night. I parked my car and caught up with mother Marta in the living room.

"Good evening mother Marta"

"It looks like your late"

"Yeah. Is mommy asleep?"

"There resting maybe"

"Is Ria sleeping now ?"

"I've been waiting for her for a while now"

"Why? Where is she?"

"She was with Ador. His daughter Cecilia came home from Manila and her friend picked her up this afternoon"

"It took her a while to come home. Alright, I'll pick her up"

"Alright, be careful"

I got into the car and started it.

I stopped the car near their house when I saw Ria come out of the yard. Someone called her, a man appeared and hugged her.

That's stupid! I should the only one doing it I got out of the car and approached them.

"Hmm"

They both let go and Ria's face showed surprise when she saw me.

"I'm here to pick you up"  I grab her hand

She looked at the man

"I'll go now"

"Looks like I can't bring you to your home anymore" said the man who is only as tall as Ria

"Yes, thank you for your offer" I intervened in their conversation

"Come on, mother Marta has been waiting for you"

I pulled her and got into the car.

During the trip, I couldn't stop my annoyance.

"Who is that guy?" I asked her

"Who?"

"The guy who hugged you a while ago"

"Ah, he is Carlo he's my friend" she said happily

"A friend? Is that what a friend is? You hug like there's no tomorrow" I said to her annoyed

"He's really like that and we just met again since we graduated from high school" she replied

"So you miss each other?"

"Hmm I think so. Cecilia is here too"

I stopped the engine

"Why did you stop?"

"So you didn't miss me?" I was about to explode in annoyance

"I missed you though"

"THEN WHY YOU LEAVE IN THE HOUSE? If I hadn't asked mother Marta I wouldn't have known that you were with someone else" I shouted.

"Why are you angry? Who among us leaves every day with that Loraine? Me?" she said to me calmly

"Loraine and I are different. What I mean is we don't do what you do"

"What? Carlo and I didn't do anything bad. And do I know what you do when you two go out? No. And Carlo was not the only one with me in that house, my classmates before" she looked at me angrily now.
