Meeting at the restaurant.

Damien looked at his wrist watch and grinned at Edwin who frowned his face with the look of confusion in his face.

"Let's go,she must be on break now." Damien said and led the way while Edwin followed right behind him.Even though he didn't understand what Damien was planning to do,he dared not ask or argue with him because he really needed Damien's help this time and couldn't afford to get him angry.

Damien sat at the driver's seat while Edwin sat at the passenger's seat.Damien starts the car and drives off.

" Where are we going?" Edwin summoned a little courage and asked.

" We are going to the restaurant that Bethany normally goes to when  she is on break at work."

" Bethany is actually Alicia's good friend.I will ask her to help us speak to Alicia" Damien added.

Edwin made a circle with his mouth,finally realizing Edwin's plan.

After some minute drive,they arrived at the restaurant.Edwin and Damien got out of the car and stood at the entrance of the restaurant.

They both looked at each other and makes a tight fist with both their hands. "Fighting". They said and enters the restaurant.

Damien scan the restaurant for a minute due to the fear of being called a spy.

" What are we going to do now" Edwin asked standing akimbo.

"Let's go" Damien said in a commanding tone and walked over to the counter,redressing himself giving an important impression of himself.

Edwin just stood behind him and stared at Damien in surprise. When did his friend learn to make an impression?

"Two glasses of americano please" Damien ordered.Two glasses of americano was placed in a tray for them.Damien took it and was looking for a place for them to sit when his eyes landed on Alicia.

He couldn't be mistaken about the love of his life.He narrowed his eyes and looked closely to confirm he wasn't hallucinating.

It was indeed her! Damien smiled and gestured to Edwin to look at Alicia.Their plan worked afterall.

Damien and Edwin walked like gentlemen to Bethany and Alicia's table.

" Oh,what a coincidence to meet you here Alicia" Damien faked his expression of being surprised but Alicia does not seem to be convinced.

" Edwin and i came here to talk for a while over a glass of americano" Damien added trying hard to convince Alicia who looked at them with a blank face.

Damien could feel the cold sweat on his back.If he wanted to lie about anything else,it was usually very easy.But when it came to Alicia,it was like climbing the mount everest.

Bethany invited them to sit with them.Although Damien hadn't known Bethany for a ling time,he could not help but praise her for saving him from further embarrasement.

Edwin sat right in front of Alicia and smiled at her but she gave him a stern look and turned her face away,Bethany and Damien who noticed this,laughed dryly.

Alicia and Edwin looked at Damien and Bethany in surprise and curiosity. What was funny to make them laugh.

Even Bethany and Damien realised what they had done and tried to break the tense air.

" Hi,i am Bethany.Alicia's friend" She said lightly.

" I am Edwin" they both shake hands and Alicia cant help but wonder why Bethany was talking so nicely to Edwin.

Damien took a sip of the americano and suddenly stood up getting Bethany and Alicia surprised including Edwin.

He could not understand his friend anymore.He was up to one trick or the other how could he not notice this after all the time they had spent together?Edwin thought.

" Bethany,i forgot what you asked me to do for you but there is still time.Damien hurriedly said as though he was eating something hot.He took Bethany and went out of the restaurant.

Alicia looks with confusion,before she could ask anything,they had already gone.

Bethany could not figure out why she went with Damien and just lookef at him mouth agaped.

Edwin who understood the plan,immediately thought of apologizing.It was such a golden opportunity,how could he misd it?

Edwin just couldn't understood himself anymore.He is a CEO of a fashion company but now he is willingly runing after a girl to apologize?
