The Forced Kiss

" Mom, I am tired, I need to rest,"

" You can't rest if you don't promise me that you will never meet him,"

Lillian sigh. She understands where her mother is coming from. Mrs. Tates usually like Austin and will always call him " My son-inlaw, " but she is now against him because of his mother.

" Mom, it is three years and besides he is engaged so mom there is nothing for you to worry about,"

" Engaged?"

" Yes, so mom be at peace,"

" If he is engaged, it is probably his mother that forced the girl on him because the Austin that I know is very much in love with my daughter and he will do anything for her, " she thought

" Okay, let me allow you to rest,"

She stands up and left

Lillian knows that she can never be with Austin in this lifetime. If what happens 3 years ago did not happen, Lillian could have decided to stay with him. Lillian is determined to not cross paths with Austin's mother.

- With Austin-

He gets home and he went straight to his room. His mind went back to the school reunion and then to what happens three years ago

- Flashback-

- Outside the school gates-

" Let's break up,"

" What?"

" You heard me right,"

" W...Th...I mean why?" he could not process the information she gave

" I am with you because of the money you had so right now I am tired of playing games with you,"

As Lillian was about to leave, he holds her back

" You are joking, right,"

" Do I look like I am joking?" Lillian had a solid face

She removed his hand and left

-Flashback ends-

" Why am I thinking of her? "

- The next day-

Lillian got up and went to her work. Lillian work every day for morning till night, no rest. Later in the afternoon, Lillian saw someone that looks familiar, she eventually finds out that is Andy. Andy was Austin's best friend. He comes to Lillian stationed.

" It has been a long time,"

" Yes,"

" How are you doing?"

" I am doing fine,"

" You are doing fine but not Austin, " Lillian looked at him and pretended to be strong.

" I saw him yesterday, he was doing okay,"

" Okay?" he was angry " Do you know how he was when you broke up with him?"

" Why should I know?"

" He was lifeless, he drinks and he gets drunk every day, I hate you for turning him like that even his sister who treats you as Austin wife hates you,"

Lillian looked at him.

" And so? If you all hate me, hate me I don't care,"

He hit the stand with his hand

" Lillian, "

People all looked at their way

" You are disturbing my workspace, please leave if you are not buying anything,"

" You know Lillian, I will make you pay for everything,"

There was a slap on his head

" Who do-" he turned and saw that it was Shirley

" You see I saw everything that just happened, what will you do to her?"

" Why do you need to know? I wonder why you have a gold-digger as your friend,"

" Leave here now or I will hit you, " he left speedily.

Lillian felt guilty of their ruined relationship. She knows that they both liked each other but they become enemies because of her.

" You hold it in very well,"

" I am alright, " Lillian's eyes began to get watery " So tell me, how was Austin when I broke up with him?"

" Why do you want to know?"

" Tell me, "

" Okay,"

After Shirley told Lillian everything that happens, a Few hours later Lillian close from work and was going home. She usually goes into a corner to get to her house that night. Austin pushed her into the wall and started forcefully kissing her. Lillian tries pushing him off but to no avail. Lillian remove her face

" Are you drunk?"

" I am not drunk but sober,"

" Let me go,"

" What did you do to me? Even when you told me the reason you got close to me, I still end up coming to you, " he was breathing hard " Why do I love you so much, " he hits the wall and he left.

Lillian bend down all of a sudden and she cried
