FATED TO ALPHA HUNTER BY VENNEH LISAH

CHAPTER FIVE

𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗔'𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗩

My eyes locked with principal Mylar for a minute. I had to wait for her to speak first before knowing what next to do or say. It was the same for her as she gazed at me with her brows arched all the way up.

"I don't think you came all the way here to stare at me like a clown. So say what you want without beating around the bush as I have a lot going on." Mylar spat!

"Can I please come in?" I said feigning a shaky voice.

"I was in the middle of something....Erm, how long have you been standing here, I mean at the door?" She asked.

"I just got here. I only need a minute, I came to talk to you as I don't know who else I can talk to." Her eyes dilated after I said that. She stepped out of the way giving me enough room to walk into her office. I saw her peep left then right before she closed the doors maybe she thought someone was following me.

The moment she shut the door, I threw myself at her, genuinely breaking down, crying tears of fear. I was scared because I didn't know Hunter's whereabouts. I cried because I found out that Hunter was my mate in the most horrible way, wondering if him being my mate was the reason he had left the party. I cried because Mylar was plotting something to keep my mate away from me. My fated mate!!

"Ania is everything okay?" She asked while stroking my hair.

"No I am not okay. I miss my home, I miss my people, I miss Hunter who I had become so fond of, why is it that everytime I come close to people something must happen to them?" I spoke in between breaths, my heart was overwhelmed with emotions, finally understanding why I always wanted to be close to Hunter it was the mates bond. Mylar allowed me to weep my heart out until I calmed down before she said, "I don't think Hunter is ever coming back, from what I know about males out there, he could have chosen his own mate then eloped with her." She lied staring straight in my face without batting an eyelid. My heartbeat was picking up very fast out of rage. I wanted to call her out of her own lie but patience was a virtue if I wanted to see my mate and be with him.

"It's okay principal Mylar, I have to go to class now sorry for bothering you and interrupting your busy schedule." I told her. Her face was indecipherable, so expressionless, for a minute I thought she had no emotions in her.

"Anything else Ania!" She coughed out.

"No that would be all for now ma'am. " I said and slowly walked out of her office lifting my ears up. Her sighing was so loud that I tugged my ear. She thought I didn't know anything which was a great start but that wouldn't be long though. I had to take the bull by it's horns.

I did not concentrate in class for the rest of the day. I needed to know who I could trust and what next to take. Mylar was going to be onto me monitoring all my moves, I had to play and act smart.

Immediately the bell rang, I walked into my room in the hostel, packed up all my stuff and left. I flagged down a cab giving him the pack house address. I tried mind linking Hunter but it sounded like a broken radio, after a few attempts I stopped trying and started doing my homework through the ride. I had decided to keep my enemies closer. Give them fire for fire no retreat! no surrender! no cooing. I was an alpha's daughter, weakness was not in our genes.

Mylar was doing yoga in the garden when the cab came to a stop in the middle of the compound. I saw her sniff the air before looking at my direction disgust washing over her face before she smiled but my insticts already registered the initial expression. I was being apprehensive. I had to be apprehensive. I was always going to be apprehensive until Hunter came back unmated.

"Ania what a pleasant surprise." Mylar chirped taking my suitcase from me pretending to be friendly. I was having none of it.

"Are you sure it's pleasant?" I asked her and she nodded. "Yes it is, why wouldn't I be delighted that you are here?" She asked me back. "Maybe because the pack house is already full and you don't want to add one more person to it. You know it means you have to take care of one more person. It's too much considering the alpha isn't here to help you out." I said stepping up to her. We were so close that I could feel her warmth breath caressing my skin.

"Ha ha ha very funny of you Ania to be aware of all that and still pack your things to come and add another baggage when Alpha is not here to help out." She stated. I took another step closer to her, gritted my teeth, smacked my lips then told her. "That is why I am here Mylar, I figured that you needed a helping hand to better help you run the pack house I am an Alpha's daughter. I know how to run things, I will leave as soon as Hunter is back." I told Mylar. We had an eye battle that seemed like it was taking an eternity.

I was an alpha's daughter. The alpha blood ran in my veins, I wasn't going to allow Mylar intimidate that gene. I belonged to the pack too, it was time to show her who I was truly made of.

I saw Mylar shift her gaze to the ground before she took a step closer to me, closing any remaining gap left between us, we seemed intimate, she then said,

"I got it covered Ania, I don't need your help. You can stay here for the weekend it could be lonely staying alone but on Monday you have to go back to the hostel." She said stroking my cheeks with the back of her hand.

"That will depend." I hissed!

"On what?" She hissed back.

"On whether the Alpha will be back. The sooner he comes back, the sooner I will get out of here." I said. I broke the gap between us and started walking towards the house. "The suitcase should be taken to Alpha's room!" I shouted back at her .

"Why would I do that?" Mylar called out.

"I have a few reasons why ." I halted on my tracks gave her a minute to catch up with me then said, "First, I am an Alpha's daughter, secondly, I know that you are aware who I am to Hunter. And this pack houses are always designed in a way to accommodate everyone with their mate. I will wait for him in his room." I said and that is when hell broke loose! Mylar blew up!

"You might be his fated mate but that doesn't mean that he has accepted you as one. I am not a wolf but I am aware that anyone can reject their fated mates at any given time and choose another one for themselves. So unless Hunter stands here announcing you has his mate, You hold no ground to any of your proclamations!" She made a very serious point and all I could do at that time was to scoff.

I walked into the pack house everyone starring at me like an alien. Mylar must have some how badmouthed me, the only reason why they couldn't do anything about it was that the pack house was a public space for anyone to be. I took the stairs ignoring the feeling of water building in the pit of my stomach.

"I am happy to see you Ania." Joe's voice rung in me through the mind link. I swarmed my eyes and met him as he disappeared behind the gym door.

" What happened to Hunter?" I asked him as I continued going up the stairs. "Let's meet at the streams at night we talk Ania." Joe told me. I closed my mind link and went to Hunter's room, it was under lock and key. Mylar giggled some where in the vacuum and I knew she wanted to play vampire games.

"ANIA!" A cold breeze brushed against my skin. I stayed focused vampires thrived in fear and blood. I wasn't about to give her any of that. I was so ready for her mind games. "No rest for you tonight." The echoing voice slammed on me again as I tried Hunter's door pretending not to hear her ghostly advances.

"ANIA! It's going to be a cold night." She whispered again and I clicked my tongue. "Well because I can't sleep in Hunter's room, I can as well sleep in our Principals room since its going to be a cold night." I said as calmly as I could.

"Ha ha ha !" Mylar was lurking in the shadows. "You can sleep where you want, it won't stop vampires from hunting tonight. I have never sucked on a wolf's blood before there is no harm in trying." She appeared before me before she vanished thrilling me.

I pulled my bags to her room, she was standing by the bed. "Can I start with dinner?" I asked her when I had put my suitcase in the closet. Mylar's fangs slipped out she was furious, she wasn't going to have her way, not atleast this night.

"You can kill me later Mylar, here you will be the only suspect, it's your room remember." I smiled. I could hear her steady heartbeat, she was a vampire, they were masters in camouflaging their emotions it was a pity Mylar was slipping in and out of calmness, how I enjoyed every bit of it. She smiled then said, "Let us try and work together and bring Hunter home to a peaceful pack house that he left." She said and I couldn't agree more.

The kitchen was buzzing with activities when I went there after cleaning up. The cooks were up and down making food for everyone. Those that were not helping them out were busy talking to themselves as they collectively brought the aroma of a nice meal raising through the air.

Every one was avoiding me, no one wanted me to help them, they were discriminating against me, it could be because of one or two things, either I was a wolf who had been terribly badmouthed or Mylar wanted Hunter to mate her sister so desperately that she had filled-in her fellow vampires who were supporting her thereby hating me.

It hit me at that moment that I was only being tolerated by them because Mylar had asked them to, the only reason that made sense was that she was still unsure if Hunter would accept her sister, if not, when Hunter returned back and got information that something bad had happened to me, it would be really messy.

My survival there solely depended on me being Hunter's mate, and the fact that he had not rejected me. If it ever crossed my mind that Hunter might reject me, I would be running in the woods with vampires running after me. They were at the top of the food chain, nothing was hell like having a vampire for an enemy, they do not kill with haste, they can torment you to a point of begging for death but it wouldn't come .

"Hey you....she -wolf." A vampire said patting my back. "Are you just going to stand there doing nothing? Why don't you go and scrub the bathrooms." He continued. The kitchen was filled with buzzing murmurings. "That's right..... That's where you belong in the bathroom wolf." Another chimed.

"Tsk,tsk, tsk. That is not how to treat our guest." Mylar said as she appeared seated on the kitchen counter. "You all cook, let our guest rest for tonight before we allocate her chores tomorrow." Mylar told them glaring at them one by one.

I left the kitchen after forcing a smile, the vampires really had something coming to me. I was prepared for them.

The stream was running quietly,Joe was flipping through the waters making back flips. " You can join me if you want." His cool voice rung through the air, if I wasn't being mistaken, he was outrightly flirting with me.

" Thanks but no thanks Joe. Why am I here?" I asked making sure my aura was being strongly felt. "Where is Hunter? Do you know his whereabouts?"

"Yeah he went off to marry, he said that when the time came and you start asking after him, I should let you know that he rejected you as his mate and that he went away to get his own mate." Joe lied to me, I smiled in the darkness as I heard how he tried to control his heart beat. "Thank you for the information Joe, I got to go." I told him feeling betrayed. Joe was a pure breed wolf, him taking the vampires side, was very disheartening.

I walked back to the pack house trying to fight-off the feeling that something or someone was watching over me. The figure was lurking in the darkness, the wind becoming stronger and stronger.

"Fucking vampires." I whispered as I continued pushing through the winds. They were out to hunt that night as Mylar said. They knew how to manipulate wind, earth, light, sounds, in fact every element of the earth making them the strongest and on top of the 'food chain.'

"This way Ania ." A still voice whispered to me it was the second time I was hearing that voice unsure of where it was coming from, but the voice never misled me.

"Quick hide inside the cave we will leave in the morning when the vampires are done hunting. I am only worried for Joe." The gentle voice in my mind spoke.

Who was that speaking in my mind. Oh my goodness! Joe was out there in the night and vampires were hunting for blood.

𝗦𝗞𝗬'𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗩.

My first encounter with Hunter was at the Mooncrest pack where I had gone to visit my sister, Principal Mylar. She had landed at that lucrative job in one of the most prestigious highschools in the world, The Mooncrest High school. It was the best, producing the best alumni ever witnessed around the globe such as Musicians, Artists, politicians just to mention but a few.

On parking my car, I overheard grapevine being whispered that the Alpha of the Pack was coming to the school to train students and that he was Vae-wolf. I felt that that Alpha did not deserve what he was getting. Where we come from, a Vae-wolf deserved to be a King and not an Alpha in a pack doubling up as a games coach in a High school.

Vae-wolves especially Lycans were different; they remained upright when they shifted and were more powerful, ran faster, and had abilities turn a person into a Lycan or vampire; ordinary werewolves and ordinary vampires did not have such abilities and were not anywhere near that caliber. We were practically nothing compared to them, which is why Vae-wolves ruled over all of us.

I watched the Land Rover sport parking and as the two front doors opened; two men hopped out. They were well dressed, elagant and had a picture-perfect presentation. "You are drooling siz! that is our Alpha; Hunter." My sister Mylar told me when she noticed that I couldn't get my eyes off him.

Hunter was attention-commanding with abilities to draw attention without even struggling, he was intimidating to look at, while his tracksuit did nothing to hide the bulk of muscle pressed tightly underneath it. He had high cheekbones, a strong jaw. Mylar grabbed my arm, tugging my attention away from him. "Tell me more about Hunter." I said following my sister into her office.

That's when my sister filled-me in about who Hunter was. Being the next in line from my father, I knew it was my responsibility to make sure I got the best when it came to a suitor and who stood a better chance than an Alpha Vae-wolf? a very rare kind, it was almost unheard-of! My children, must come from him! I swore to myself. In the vampire kingdom getting the best suitor for a duchess like me was a quest.

Ladies could travel far and wide to get the best of the best. I couldn't wait to parade Hunter around my friends, I couldn't wait to present to my father, the Vampire Grand-Elder, a trophy I could always call mine. Only one thing stood on the way, his fated mate.

Wolves were born fated to one another, it was like a water-drop in the ocean to find a wolf rejecting his fated mate for someone else. Unless their mate died or there was a very good reason why they could not accept their mate like insanity, other than that, the mates bond was sealed even before they were born and to reject a mate was so disastrous, I cared less. Hunter was mine and mine alone!

We plotted to draw Hunter to my coven, when we finally had the chance, I hurriedly dispatched hunters to attack him, that night I could not sleep knowing fully well that Hunter was in the castle. I was elated and ecstatic which didn't last long because the next day he converted to a beast demanding to be on his way home. My beauty charms could not seduce him to me and break the mate bond, instead it was drawing him back and back to his mate Ania.

"How could you let him slip from your hands? Do you know how hard it was to get him there? Now you want us to start from scratch again? It's another year, you have no mate yet and no child. Our father isn't getting any younger, you must give birth soonest or the coven will take his powers away from our Dad . Why don't you keep him there and mate him? You couldn't perfom such a trivial task of getting laid? How hard is it to get laid?" My bossy sister Mylar ranted the moment she appeared in my room in the red full moon night. Normally during this night of the year we hunted for blood while others mated. I was still a single duchess, with no mate who had no child. Pressure mounting on me .

"I could no longer keep him here against his freewill, he converted to a full Lycan! Did you want a bloodbath?" I asked getting infuriated.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with few of our kind dying as long as you get Hunter, he is the only Alpha Vae-wolf out there. Where is he now?" She snarled fangs protruding from her mouth, she was really pissed-off and mad.

"I don't know, he left in the morning! if he managed to track his way back, he should be almost at the Mooncrest pack." I told her, my self esteem having been shattered. I could not accomplish such a simple task with all my beauty and keep Hunter in the castle!!

"I will get him back here by the next full moon don't screw up next time. you know the consequences! Let's go hunt!" She ordered. I shook my head in disagreement.

"I don't want to go hunting, I am good." I was breathless.

"I said get the f**k up from your self pity and lets go hunting or I will drag you with me if I have to!" She snapped embedding her claws deep inside my hands dragging me with her. Mylar was a born dictator. She could have made a better duchess than I could ever make.

𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗔'𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗩

I couldn't hide and sleep there knowing very well that Joe was out in the open in the night where Vampires were hunting. How stupid of him to go out there on red moon night and how selfish of him to lure me out to him too that night? On my defense, I was unaware that it was their red moon since that was the first red moon since moving to Mooncrest.

I crept out of the cave I had to find him to make sure he was alright. I tried mind-linking him, he was still at the pool giggling. "It is a trap Ania please don't go out on your own." The still voice whispered in my mind for the umpteenth time.

"Who are you? Are you a vampire or what! speaking to me like you are a part of me?" I asked the voice which was growing audibly confident. "I am your wolf dummy, my name is Claudia." I was overly excited to finally get my own wolf activated, which meant my best friend was within me. I was never going to be alone.

" Pleasure to meet you Claudia, Joe is out there while the vampires are hunting. We can't let him be on his own. Let's bring him back here with us please." The next couple of minutes were spent arguing with my wolf but I defied anyways looking for Joe. It was unfortunate that I just met my wolf and we were already fighting but I had to save Joe even though he had betrayed me. I never left one of our own behind no matter what.

" That's where he was," I told Claudia pointing at the empty stream just a second before my mind link opened.

"Where are you Ania?" Hunter's menacing growl tore in mind. Claudia shouting "MATE! MATE! MATE!" in excitement.

"Hey Hunter, I am in the woods near the first stream looking for Joe." I told him trying to hide my excitement but Hunter was furious and really worried.

"Turn and leave the woods now. Go back to the pack house, it's dangerous out here with the red moon. You know what happens." He growled back, I heard his muscles flexing, he was running against the wind gushing past him.

"No...I can't do that, Joe is out here I am looking out for my own kind. Sticking out for my fellow wolf" I answered back.

"Now, you listen to me Ania. I can never forgive myself if anything bad happens to you. Go to the pack house and lock yourself in. I promise to bring Joe to you safe and sound. I am within the third stream from the border." My mate was not only clearly worried but was also concerned about me.

"Now Ania." He snarled making me turn and run back, I wished I could convert to Claudia. I could hear the familiar vampire voices whispering "Ania!" But I didn't give-in to fear.

" I can sense our mate is not so far behind us, let's get to the pack house. Can you convert and take over?" I asked Claudia and she said, "No I can't shift till our moon night which is months away, we are both depending solely on you Ania or we are doomed, our blood will quench the vampires thirst tonight. " Claudia urged me.

"Lycans can outrun even the fastest cars, Claudia. Our mate is running through the forest to get here, he will not let us perish at least not under his watch." I growled at Claudia.

"But Joe, he is right here," I tell her. I am getting his scent, he could be stranded. There is only two of us, I can't imagine myself being the only wolf in the pack, the way vampires are discriminatory!" I tell my wolf. "He knew it was a red moon when he walked out of the pack house luring him with you, setting you up against the vampires let him carry his cross." Claudia adamantly informed me.

"Be careful." Claudia warned before I hit a tree right before me and the 'ghostly creatures' laughed. I knew for sure they were following me while buying time before they could snap life out of me by sucking my blood out.

I touched my forehead that hit the tree and hissed. Blood drenched me from the collision and I hit the ground hard, coughing and sputtering. "Ania!" Claudia shrieked.

"I'm fine," I choked. I walked around the tree when I heard a blood-curdling scream. "No ... please.... Don't." Joe's voice rang out clearly through the woods. My blood went ice cold as I froze in the same spot. "No, Ania our mate asked us to go back to the pack house he will take care of Joe." Claudia pleaded. I wanted to continue with my run back to the pack house when I heard him scream again. My heart rate spiked, and I felt adrenaline coursing through me.

"Don't you do it." Claudia screamed as I took off, running to where I heard his voice screaming out into the night.

Once I started running down into the woods, I found out that I couldn't stop. The incline propelled me down, and even as I tried to gain traction, I was sliding, underestimating how steep the hill was, I couldn't regain my feet. I tried to grab a tree trunk only for my grip to slip-off, loosing my breath as the force of gravity sent me hurtling to the ground at an angle.

A scream tore from my lips at the agony, and I began rolling down the hill. Smashing into trees, being thrown upwards, tumbling down before hitting the bottom, I blacked-out as my head bounced off the hard ground.

Joe's scream rang out loudly and sent my head turning to my right to see a vampire with red glowing eyes and protruding fangs ripping Joe backward from the woods. He was kicking and screaming, thrashing around as he struggled against him. Those hopeless pleas fell on deaf ears, however.

A gasp escaped me as I pivot headed toward him, only to trip in a small dip in the grass, landing face down in the wet grass, Injuring my head again.

My heart raced as I got back to my feet. My breathing was harsh as I staggered toward Joe and the vampire.

"Please don't kill me, I have been your ally for long doing everything you have been asking me to," Joe screamed. I groaned, the sound barely audible to my own ears over his screaming. The vampire tossed him to the ground, and he crawled away from him as I struggled to walk. The vampires being slow killers, they enjoyed tormenting their prey. They enjoyed how their victims begged for their lives and that is what exactly the vampire was doing, tormenting Joe psychologically and then wait to rip him off when he least expected.

I saw a rock and grabbed it before I heard a scream, Only to realize that it was my own war cry when I rushed at him, and the vampire suddenly spun around before deflecting my raised hand about to hit him with the rock.

The vampire and I crashed to the ground! The rock flew from my grip as he landed on top of me and rolled away. He growled! The vampire abruptly froze with a strange look on his face before he growled and looked over his shoulder.

I spotted Joe behind me, the rock in his hand, and the vampire's blood dripped from where he had hit him with it. He turned to attack Joe, but I grabbed his ankle, tripping him, and Joe smashed him in the head with the rock again, and he went limp on the ground, face down and unmoving.

Sitting up, I looked at him and Joe rushed over to me. Tears streaked his face, dirt, and twigs in his hair, he was covered in dirt just like me. The rock dropped from his hand as he stepped over the vampire and moved towards me to help me sit up.I held to my head which was bleeding like a steady stream and saturating my torn and filthy pants.

"Ania" Joe gushed, clutching my arms as he hauled me upright. A sigh escaped me and he clutched my face in his hands, sobbing uncontrollably. Suddenly, I saw the vampire get back to his feet, and my eyes opened wide as he stumbled looking around. "Joe!" I gasped, and he looked behind him before ripping me to my feet with a strength.

"Can you convert?" I asked him and he nodded ." But I can't just convert, run and leave you here especially after you came back for me." Joe said.

The atmosphere amplified with monstrosity, lighting flashed, the sky becoming darker, thunder blaring in the sky, whispers and hisses filling the air sending my blood cold. An icy shiver slivered up my spine.

"The coven, he called his coven can you convert?" Joe panicked.

"We need to get to the pack house Joe; I can't convert" I choked out, nodding toward the treeline, and he looked up at the steep incline when he was suddenly tackled. I screamed when I saw the vampire sink his teeth into Joe's neck. Vampires bursted from the trees racing toward us.

"You can't touch the girl!" One of them screamed at them while pointing at me before turning his attention back to Joe. He gripped his shoulders, slamming him onto the ground. Adrenaline coursing through me as I was suddenly standing.

My eyes went wide when I saw vampires circling around us gnashing their teeth and snarling at us. I closed my eyes, waiting for my torment and impending death. They were giggling others making terriblly loud laughter. Their fingers touching me all over my body filling me with disgust. They had started tormenting me, playing with me like a clown.

It was a few minutes of torture. I was about to break down and cry giving in to fear when I heard a feral snarl rip through the air, bouncing off the trees, and I heard a wolf's claw digging into the soft ground.

My eyes flew open to find Joe stepping over the top of us in his Lycan form. Joe kicked the vampire who was in charge (seemingly an elder) in the face as he tried to stand. He growled but the sound came out was more of a roar. The vampires jumped back, and the elder got to his feet and staggered backward. This was our chance to make a run for it.

My heart thudded painfully in my chest, as I grabbed Joe, tugging him to follow me. We ran for the trees . Joe slightly behind me. I knew he was only behind me because he didn't want to out-run me or leave me behind. We had not made the second turn when two figures tackled into us simultaneously. Two ferocious vampires were on top of us this time round they were not laughing or giggling. They were pissed-off.

The moment we both hit the ground, the vampires weight lifted off from me abruptly and a furious growl rang through the air. As the beast towered above us.

His feet were next to my face and I gasped, looking up to see Hunter in his Lycan form. The vampire that attacked were held off from us by his hand wrapped around its throat. He squeezed his hand, and I gritted my teeth when I heard the sickening crunch of its neck breaking then he flung it away. The vampire hit a tree after Hunter tossed it away like a weightless chicken.

Hunter glared down at me, and I dropped my gaze back to the ground at the angry look on his face when he stepped over me. Mylar right behind him. Joe pulled himself up from the ground before helping me out as my mate glared at me his eyes burning with anger.

" Thank God, you both are safe. I have been looking everywhere for you, from the moment Alpha Hunter told me you were in the woods." Mylar spoke clutching me tightly in her arms. I looked down toward the vampire Elder who was still in rage . He wanted to charge at Joe again when Hunter's aura slipped out, and his voice boomed around us echoing through the night.

"Enough, now stop!" he bellowed, and everyone froze under his command. The vampire clutched his knees breathlessly. Hunter stomped to him and shot him a glare .

The elder backed away from him hands up in surrender. "I have done nothing wrong; I was merely getting blood, it is a vamps night to hunt, mate and drink blood . It's allowed even in the constitution." The vampire choked out before falling backward as Hunter's massive Lycan form growled menacingly, stalking toward him with calculated steps.

"No hunting tonight, everyone go back to your houses and rooms now." Hunter ordered staring straight in the elder's eyes. The vampires all looked away from him, cowering and whimpering .I always thought the Vampires were fearless but they all feared one thing Hunter.

"No hunting? why ? We are all allowed this one night to let ourselves loose," The elder stammered, his voice more of a petrified squeak.

" I said the hunting is over. Go back to where you call home." Hunter snarled back, grabbing the front of his shirt and jerking him forward his breathing loud while the muscles of his back flexed .

Hunter looked around at the vampires and they all vanished behind the trees when I noticed a woman standing while leaning on one of the trees . I couldn't make out her features with my blurry vision, but seeing her for some reason made goosebumps rise all over me as she watched. She then simply turned and walked away, disappearing into the night.

Hunter then turned toward us, and his eyes went to Joe. I struggled in Mylar's grip when I watched horrified, as Hunter stalked toward him like a predator hunting its prey.

Joe didn't even move like he simply accepted the repercussions. Hunter punched him so hard it knocked him out cold. He dropped at Hunters feet and just took it. Didn't even fight back.

I whimpered seeing him hurt, and Hunter's head snapped in my direction. He snarled, his upper lip pulling back to reveal his razor-sharp teeth. He moved towards me. He nodded at Mylar and she let go off me . I was waiting for him to punch me too but he instead picked me up and tossed me to his shoulders carrying me like a sack of potatoes then he snarled. "I will take you home to rest we both had long night." He took off running while carrying me on his shoulder. I was looking like a little girl who had been abducted by a big bad Lycan wolf on the run .
