Chapter twenty six.

Felix declares his love for Liili.

Being the word of mouth at the University, the fresher's crew hit the top lines of public notice as it was done in thought of demoralizing them by the old groups.

Though it was done out of their consent, the results still proved right to them as their crew shot high within the society leaving them as the Lords university ambassadors.

All the results came in their favour although it sounded hash in the first week with all criticism from the net, it only took a few days for the trend to stabilize leaving the crew in high spirit.

To think one comes out with the aim of making you lose but you then stand up only by his help. This was the real description of not throwing stones to those who throw them to you, just build a castle out of their efforts and let them realize how short sighted they are.

It was like the crew was using such a tactic against the said old groups within the campus.

It looks hard for such a crew to remain intact for all the long university run as they held various profession journeys.

With Felix, Joanna, and Liili taking the business administration field, it was very easy for the three to mingle with one another the most within the crew.

Simon and Tasha who were taking HRM were a bit distant from the three at times and had to take up their lessons from the west wing of the University.

As though Tobby had to always stand alone in all her character. Despite her unlce's daily nagging, she still put the issue of business to the back of her brains and never for once liked to mingle in such class.

Used to being a care free person, her uncle went a head to let her do what she liked and that let her choose fashion and design as her best.

Being taken by American boxing, she always had to spend time in the gym after class and then hold matches during the weekends.

Though they were not of great value and received less population interest, it was enough to horn her skills in boxing for the time being and that was enough to leave a smile on her face.

As the clock ticked to lunch time, the fresher's crew started to head to the dining room as per their usual camping.

This was one of their most cherished moments and each member of the crew would not dare miss such a gathering.

As usual, Tobby always had the first seat on the dining as she would arrive a few minutes before the business and human resource groups. She always loved to live a care free life and that is why she ran off to fashion and design to walk her journey in such field.

Though taking the field, her priority was always boxing and she would always mention herself as the future WBC women champion. This was her own dream that she always believed she would achieve in the future.

It was not long as Simon and Tasha made their way to the dining table with their respective meals.

Though the business class took a few seconds to arrive after them, they also carried their own meals before taking up their seats. At most, they had to wait for each other before getting their lunch all together and dining at once but things had to change today as they held various activities during the fridays.

Yeah, today is a Friday that was closing up the week just as the past days and yes it has been a two months period since the day of the house competitions as they walk their various carrier departments.

Though the first weeks proved difficulty for them as they had to face the wrath of the old buffalos, and criticism from the net, all this turned down when they decided to lay down and stay quite as time took the role of the Supreme doctor.

Thank God for their silence, the net took a u turn after the mistake made from the old ambassadors of Lords University leaving them the gap to contend for it and they proved out as the winners in such campaigns.

Even after all the dos and don't, they still stood might thus dying down the brewing storm of the net and instead got a calming following from the previous aggressive net.

It was the direct proof of the statement silence is the best way to revenge or say bark not at the barking of barking dogs even when their barking moves a mountain, it will still remain a barking and they will never take the initiative to attack you.

The group had their chit chat for a while before going their way to hold the week done.

Like a jet's speed, the day came to an end in no time as they all separated their own ways. Liili, Tobby and Joanna had the same route as usual as Joanna had to drop them home before she could proceed to her home.

On the way, as though recalling her most praised promise, she tried inviting Liili for an hour chat but she dropped that knowing that she would pass with her usual excuse of having to attend work during the weekend.

Yes, Liili now has a good part time job at Plain Food Tuff cafe. Although she never had the chance to see the person that helped her get this job, she still held hope in meeting him as she got the chance to lessen her dad's burden for once.

She would always attend work for three hours during the week days and then work for eight hours during the weekend days. Thanks to this job as she could now acquire a few of her needs. Though not enough it was still good as she always appreciated the little she held thanks to her dad for the bright upbringing.

Back to the Madickson mansion, Felix looked perplexed as he was immersed in thought. He was having various thoughts as to what his expectation would be for the answer

His thoughts were in a pitch at the moment as he had to make his balls hard for the next day. Although his the answers running in his mind kept changing, his facial features tried best to stay in motion but all he got was a null everytime he held an option.

He was in tense as all the previous moves that he always held had to end in vain for who knows why his heart always skipped at the last moment when the time would pose to be right for him.

Coming back out of his thoughts, it was now almost 09:15 pm as this was most the time when Liili would reach home after work.

Since he had his plan, he always had to find an excuse so as he could have a moment with her for the last two months. Although their friendship was this good, he wanted to be of more meaning in her life. And for this, he came to know almost every bit of her movement the moment she left school.

Although he didn't know who got her the part time job, at least he was pleased that this guy was not interested in meeting her which was good for him for time being. For him being silent, it still kept his thoughts over the matter as to why he decided to help her, no one knows. His only thanks was that he staid put which was still good for him.

Holding his phone in hand, he was pondering whether to call or test, bracing himself, he started typing,

Hey, are you home now?

Oh, yes. Just made it to the door, how come you always get me before I make my my way in?

Just like usual, the reply came back in an instant like she was on the other side and patiently waiting for his text.

Seeing that he got an instant reply from her, he felt a feeling tickle his whole body. It's like he was hit by a powerful lightning leaving him on the group with his body drained of all energy to be moved.

It might be destiny you know. It's this hard to know a person's where about but I always call you the moment you reach home.

Isn't it easy for you to know if you have employed someone to monitor my arrival so that you can make me convinced.

Hahaha... why would I go to such an extent, will it even make me a gentleman worthy your love?

The other side of the phone fell in total silence the moment such a question was posed.

Back to the Anderson house, Liili stood by the door, her heart was beating very fast, and sweat started forming on her face at a terrible speed like the temperature around here had been over heated.
