Visit to The Fang House

Jax was preparing to visit the hidden fang house. It existed because the elite or pure blooded vampires expected to remain as pure as they were. They were apprehensive against the impact which impure, witches could cause over the normal vampires and sometimes humans too.

Jax had heard from his father about it and he wanted to send Lala there, the members of the Fang house could dissipate or drive off the bad vibes inflicted by witches. He never had visited it before and he strongly senses that Lala was under influence or she was hiding something from him. In both conditions he won't be able to dig out the truth. Earlier he sensed it but thought that Lala was nervous to meet his family but now his suspicion deepened. Her words could help him to reach the murderers.

Lala was told that master Jax was preparing to visit the state near the Dusk Lake. It could be an opportunity for her to visit her house and collect two letters left by her younger sister; her premonition said that perhaps the clue to her current situation was hidden in those two letters.

Inferring all the past four years happenings, possibly her younger sister was also threatened by someone mysterious.

Lala determined to decipher why the shadows always followed her and what was the secret behind the disappearance of her younger sister. If she caught some clue, it would help her to explain in front of Jax and he would undoubtedly stand for her and look for the real culprit.

Today the dark and grey clouds were scattered and small rays of the light were succeeding in reaching the footing nonetheless it cannot prevail over the whole woodland because of its steady flow of the clouds spreading and hurrying to envelop the opening left by broken clouds.

Jax was standing near the open lawn, he spoke to his housekeeper. "Bring the slave and give her proper slave dress: she will be traveling with me." his tone was sparse of any emotion and the stiff expression prevailing over the face.

Lala heard the housekeeper and placed the water pot on the ground. Today her duty was to fetch water for plants. It brought another trouble first if Jax was taking her along then how she was supposed to sneak away and visit her house second why the master wanted to bring her along. The housekeeper gave her another dress and slippers and brought in front of the carriage which was ready for the travel.

Jax was already sitting inside so she chose opposite corner of the seat. There was a neat box of food this means the journey was little longer. He remained silent not looking at her. "Jax would you send me to the prison without knowing whether I committed the crime or not?" she asked with trembling tone. She has heard from the servant that those who were accused of something serious were sent to the prison first.

He did not answer instead looked in her eyes, "Lala how can you expect me to be tolerant when you keep hiding secrets." he placed his hand to lift up her face and directly penetrated his eyes in hers. The way he called her Lala was so rude for her because he used to call her Clem with love before this incident. Tears formed in her eyes, she could not endure hatred in them the same eyes which used to be full of love and care.

In three hours they reached the destination and the carriage stopped. The clouds above the sky were pouring from previous one hours and it was giving chills to the bones because of increasing cold. Jax wore the leather overall to spare from rain while he handed parasol to the girl. "Pick the food box too." he spoke without looking behind.

The plain path was carved to reach the weird looking house; the outer edges of the curvy roof were decorated with red cones made of bone similar to the fangs covered with blood. Luna picked the food box in one hand and parasol in other hand. She has never seen such horrible looking house before but to be with Jax she could endure anything much less a weird place.

The door opened as soon as they reached in front of it. Three people were standing alongside in the middle of the empty room wearing the black overall; their faces were hidden under the black hoodies. "Welcome to the present Lord of Woodland Town, may I ask what brought you here?" one of them asked without looking up.

"I brought one of my slave believing that she is strongly influenced by witches, I hope you could cure her." Jax spoke without any formality of speaking respectful. He was Lord of the Woodland Town and was not oblige to pay homage anyone except the Lord Council or other senior Lords.

"Please leave her here for three days." The same man spoke again. It was first ever that Jax saw these three vampires of the Fang house and personally converse, he don't know why he was not ready to entrust Lala for three days and go back. But he chose to follow and left immediately leaving her behind.

Lala was astounded to hear what Jax told them, was she influenced by witches but when and how she never felt it. It was unbelievable because she never believe in witches altogether. Was it because she chose to love a vampire? She was standing speechless.

"Send her in abandoned chamber and bring back after an hour." the one who talked with Jax now ordered one of them. She was almost dragged to the silent and dark chamber where the only source of light was a hole in the wall. She could not believe that Jax has stone heart to throw her at the mercy of unknown men.

After an hour, she was brought in front of the man, "Speak, who you are?" he whipped her mercilessly and shouted. "I am Lala Clementine D'Moon." she convulsed on the bare floor and forced out her name with trembling lips.
