Chapter 24

The lady was startled. She knows this man's demonic nature. He can go to any extent to take the things that he likes. He is a man of persistence. The lady turned to look at Rachel and cast her a pleading glance and turned to face Ashen and started to say in a stuttered voice "I-I'm so-sorry Mr It was my fault"

Ashen Gave a sharp look towards the lady and the aura around him seemed to make everyone around him tenser.

"Then why did you try to hit her?" Ashen's cold voice sounded towards the lady.

The lady's eyes were red as she spoke in a low voice "I was crazy at the moment when my dress was ruined"

Rachel was listening to the lady's cries and she felt somewhat pity for her. When Ashen was about to speak, Rachel stepped forward and said to that lady "It's okay Miss. I understand and I'm sorry on my behalf too"

Ashen's gaze fell on Rachel and he smiled lightly. The lady bowed at them and ran out of their sight.

Rachel turned to face Ashen with her clear eyes and thanked him "Thank you for your help mister"

She then turned around to leave when Ashen held her wrist and made Rachel turn around and face him.
