CHAPTER 10

"Yeah, mom. Today's the first day of my internship classes. So I'm heading out earlier"

"Oh, good honey!!!"Her Mom said with a smile. Her mom filled her plates with the dishes. When she was about to have her first bite, her mother stopped her.

"What mom??"She asked with raising eyebrows.

"Wait, honey!! Your brother will head down soon. Let's have our breakfast together "Her mom said.

She rolled her eyes at her mom and let out a loud sigh.

At that time a figure headed down from the stairs. He was dressed in his white shirt with black pants and a black leather coat. His hair was combed neatly his eyes were a mesmerizing one and his face was cleanly shaved with a bright and handsome smile. He was Carl Zhou, the elder brother of Rachel. He was in his mid-twenties. He is taking care of the construction field works of his family.

Mrs Zhou gave him a warm smile and said "Good morning Carl!! Come have your breakfast"

Carl gave a small smile nodded his head and made his way to the table. He took his seat and Mrs Zhou filled his plates.

When they were about to eat, Rachel stood from her seat and said to her mom "I'm leaving mom"

Mrs Zhou said with a slow voice "We didn't have our breakfast together for a long time honey. Come have your seat"
