Fate as an Alchemist

FMA Alchemy in Nasuverse. Mc is one year younger than Waver Velvet and will participate in the Fourth Holy Grail War. There are elements from Kara no Kyoukai, especially during volume 1 and 3, but not much and everything is explained. The mc is both an alchemist and a magus so don't expect him to be a hero. All the FMA alchemies are based on the 2009 anime. Ignore any knowledge or info you may have on the 2003 one.

The level of disrespect...

As soon as we stepped out of the plane, we found ourselves with no one to pick us up.

"Are they late or did something happen?" I asked Giorno, who stood beside me.

"I'm afraid I don't have an answer for that, young master." he replied as we continued to look around for a moment.

After five more minutes of waiting, I found myself quite annoyed. They invited me here because they needed my help, and now they dare not to show up on time?!

"Whatever, go and get us a car." I said "Let's got to the town and see why exactly they would dare to make us wait."

"Of course, young master." he replied.

"Artoria, go with him." I said, looking at my wife.

Artoria, who was currently wearing a cloth to cover her face, nodded and went with Giorno.

"There is the possibility that this entire thing is just a ploy to attack us while alone, so don't lower your guards." I explained, to which they simply nodded before leaving.

Now alone, I began thinking about every single piece of information we had gathered about this town.

First of all, they appeared to have no knowledge of Artoria being alive and by my side, hence why I told her to put a cloth on her face. Secondly, they said that as payment they would give me a blade left to them by Morgan le Fay, which might or might not be true at all. The last thing is the actual language they used on the letter, they seemed to respect me as a sorcerer but it was obvious they couldn't care less about me when compared to King Arthur.

Honestly, they came off as a cult of King Arthur more than anything else.

"Hmm, I honestly don't think this entire thing was a ploy to get me here alone, but it would be stupid to rule that possibility out with no information..." I muttered while standing up.

Giorno and Artoria arrived in a car they rented form the airport and I got in.

The ride towards the town wasn't particularly easy. We were guiding ourselves with a map because the town was so remote and isolated it didn't even appear in a GPS.

"Ugh, I am definitely going to complain with Bersac." I muttered.

From what I had gathered about the town, it was under management of both the Church and the Blackmore family, from which Bersac was the last descendant of.

After the annoying ride, we eventually arrived to a small town. The houses seemed to be very old and the streets appeared to be the same that were made centuries ago, the strange part however was the people.

"Why are they running around?" I asked aloud, though I knew perfectly well neither Giorno nor Artoria had an answer.

"What should we do now, young master?" asked Giorno.

Looking around for a moment, I realised there was no bounded field on the town nor any barriers were set up and, while it is normal for towns not to have any, I expected a small town like this that is home to a cult to have one.

Then there was the people who, for some reason, seemed to be in distress, as if something bad had happened.

"Well, regardless of why they are acting like this, we still need to prepare." I muttered to myself as I stared at the families running around, grabbing torches. "And they don't look like they will be missed by anyone."

"Giorno, go set things up." I said, staring at him. "Wether they had good intentions or not, they will prove to be more useful to me as a glowing stone."

"Understood, young master." he replied before leaving.

Now alone with Artoria, I decided to head into the town.

My wife, who was carrying my suitcase, seemed displeased with the lack of interest others were showing to us.

The people moved around, grabbing more torches and gathering in small groups before leaving the town, making me raise an eyebrow.

As we continued moving towards the centre of the town, we encountered an old woman, who stared at us confused for a moment.

"Who are you?" she said, making the three men around her focus on us as well.

"Now that's not a proper way to greet guests." I replied with a small smile, though it was evident in my tone that I was quite annoyed.

Her eyes widened slightly before a slightly awkward expression appeared on her face. "You must be mister Salvatore-"

"Lord Salvatore." I interrupted with the same annoyed smile. "Now, do you mind explaining why it is that there was no one to greet us at the airport?"

"There was some trouble, so we couldn't afford to have anyone leave at the moment." she replied calmly, as if it wasn't an absolute insult. "However we are dealing with it, so there is nothing you should be worried about."

My eyebrow twitched as soon as she spoke. "Do I look worried about your troubles?"

The old woman ignored my words and looked at one of the men next to her. "Show them where they will be staying."

My eyes widened as I found myself staring at her in disbelief. For a moment, I thought she was joking or something, but it was obvious she was serious. Looking at my wife, I couldn't helps but ask the only thing currently on my mind. "Did she just ignore me?"

"I think so, my dear." replied Artoria in a very pissed-off tone.

"Huh." I muttered before returning my gaze to the old woman who was about to leave. "Well this is a new experience... and I don't like it."

"Come with me." said the man that the old woman spoke to.

Once again, I found myself genuinely confused as I stared at my wife again. "Did he just tell me what to do?"

Artoria, who was moving her hand towards the hilt of her sword, stopped and replied with one simple word. "Yes."

"Huh, I thought so too..." I muttered before staring at the old woman. "Hey, who are you?"

To be honest, I didn't even know what to feel. The level of disrespect was just so absurd that I was having trouble accepting it as a reality, like they invited me here because I am a sorcerer, so why do they look so ignorant about what a sorcerer is?

The woman was clearly annoyed by my interruption, replied. "The people call Grandmother, so you can use that name as well."

The man who was going to take us somewhere got closer and tried to touch me, most likely to guide me, however before his hand reached me, it was sliced off.

"Arghhhhh!" he screamed as blood poured out of her arm.

Artoria stood next to me with her sword out, staring at the man like he was trash.

"Whatever, we don't actually need people to do what we came to do." I muttered, instantly closing the distance between the old woman and I before putting my hand into her head, literally into her head.

"I am not well versed in memory-reading and mind-reading, so this will hurt a lot." I muttered as I stared at the b*tch with an angry face.
