Chapter 4 - Success

After a good night's sleep, Jake got out of his bed, went to the bathroom to wash his face and teeth.

He went to the living room to check with Daisy and ask about his progress.

"Daisy how many potatoes did we harvest yesterday?" Jake asks.

"we have 100 potatoes, 20onions, 20 green onion, 20 carrots, 20 beets and 150 apples Meow" Daisy said while stretching her legs and yawning.

"Hmm, that's more like it, but the apple tree unexpectedly puts a lot of apples I guess that's what you get from fruit tree or a vegetable that grow a lot from just a seed" Jake said while thinking of getting grapes, beans, tomatoes and others.

Jake left the farming zone and went to his house looking for his mum and ask about if she brought some milk, so he can do an experiment with the soup.

Sarah was thinking all night about the changes that happen to her son. It was a good change and he became responsible so sudden, but she missed a little bit his unreasonable actions that leads him to trouble. She woke up early this morning went to the neighbours and brought some milk to see what that brat is up to.

Jake enters the kitchen, seeing his mother busy their he was thinking if he makes a lot of money Then he will buy a house in the town with maids to help my mum relax.

"Good morning mum, you look beautiful today. Did you bring some milk?" Said Jake

"yes, but what are you going to do with it?" His mom asks

"nothing I was going to ask you if you know how to make potato soup, so we can have it as our breakfast" Jake replied with innocent smile.

"Yes, I know how making it, so that was your object from the beginning, but we don't have the ingredients to make it sorry baby, but next time I will go to make it for you we only have bread" said mum with a sad look on her face.

"it's okay mum, this is the ingredients, can you make it now" said Jake smiling to his mum.

He brought 5 potatoes and the green onion to the table. He took a bucket of water from the fountain. It's seems the water there is the best, Daisy explains it to me but whatever I can only say it a super good water.

Sarah looked at the table in the living room with a shocking look. She kept looking at her son and wondering from where he brought this stuff.

"I hope he didn't do anything reckless that will bring a big problem to us" Sarah was thinking in her mind.

"brat from where you brought all of this stuff, I don't believe I saw you farming or going outside to bring them. The well is about 20 minutes away from the house and it's not the potato season now how, where and when did you bring everything here?" She was panicking looking left and right, she doesn't want any trouble.

"mum relax just trust me, beside I worked hard for them. Just make us the best potato soup from your excellent crafting" said Jake while covering his sweat. Man!!!! I just keep forgetting about this problem. Food doesn't appear from space, it appears from the ground.

Sarah mind was messed up. She doesn't know what she must think of, she kept looking between the brat and the ingredients.

She gave up and took the ingredients, she went to the kitchen stove, the pot was hot already so she just pours the water and start cooking.

Jake was seated at the dinner table, thinking of how to use his ingredient to make money. Does he open a restaurant, but he can't cook, do he sell them in the market, but he doesn't understand the world yet? It was a hard problem, but while he was thinking he smelt something good coming from the kitchen, his mom finished making the soup. She added some bread with it, I guess the common food is bread for the poor and farmers.

There were spoons and plates in the world. It's like the medieval times. Once I tried the soup my eyes lit up and became like the stars... OMG!!!! This is gooood, how come yesterday food tasted like s**t but today was so delicious.
