Chapter 12- Camellia Sinensis
There were a lot of seeds in this place; vegetables, fruits and herbs. The thing that caught his eye was the prices. They are cheap, now if you think about It, no one wants to farm. He could buy for his own farm and the farm zone at the same time without losing a lot of money.
He was looking for the herbs Donna said she wants, there was a lot of herbs because we live in a good climate temperature area, a lot of herbs grows and if people want wild herbs they can go to the forest. There is basil, chives, mints, coriander, dill, fennel and many more. The prices are still cheap. The fruits and vegetable seeds are much cheaper from the herbs.
While Jake was looking around, he saw Camellia Sinenis seeds, he wanted to have a close look at it, to make sure that he was right. Camellia Sinenis is the source of all the tea like Black tea, Green tea, White tea and Oolong. Finally, he can have his system plant them and drink some fine tea.
Back on earth, I was a tea lover, my friends were making fun of me all the time because of it. They tell me, the Queen of England will not drink with you or where is your butler, this kind of stuff. He tried to grow some tea, it was easy to grow them, that's why he was excited. He will buy some lavender and jasmine herbs, it makes the tea taste better.
After he finishes looking around he went to the counter. There was an old lady smoking pipe with a cup of tea in front of her, the smell of tea was strong, but it was mixed with some mints to give it a good taste.
The vibe she gives was like the fortune teller vibe so mysterious. We kept staring at each other for a while, no one broke our silence. I feel like she is looking at my past and future.
The silence was broken by a beautiful young lady, she was about twenty years old. Her hair was blue, her eye colour was brown . She was tall, her body was fit, big in both front and back.
"Sorry for my grandma behavior, she just loves to scare customers, I don't know why she picked this habit. Am sorry if she was rude to you. My name is Mona, how can I help you sir" Mona said
"Umm… hahaha... don't worry about it, I wish I was a painter to draw your grandma she resembles our history. I am Jake, I want to but some seeds if you may" I want to paint you baby, but it will be rude to say out loud said Jake looking at Mona.
"Yes, please tell me what you want, and I will bring it to you," Mona said with a blush. She noticed me staring at her.
We what do think will happen if a virgin was with a beautiful babe, he already knows that he needs to chill but he is a man, men are weak creature when they see beauty.
Jake told Mona what he needs, and she left to bring them to him. He told Mona to put the seeds in two bags, so he can take one home and one to the Farm zone.
" This is the all the things you want" Said Mona excitedly, it seems not many farmers come to buy from her. I guess I will always come to buy from here.
" Thank you very much, here the money, and you are a breathtaking lady, I needed to say it," Jakes said trying to flirt. He gave it a shot.
" thanks for the complaint wait a second for your change," Mona said without feeling.
Damn !!! I was rejected, I know it !!!! it's must be the clothes, am going to change them soon, Babe wait for me, I will come to get you soon, I hope will have some feeling for this little brother.
Jake left Mona shop with a broken heart
"Meow you are bad at flirting even if you change your clothes, your personality won't change Meow" Daisy was laughing at me.
I didn't even pass the cat judgment, god damn, Daisy I will not make you sleep, you just wait and see.
Now that Jake can fix the farm, he needs to buy some ropes. He is going to divide the farm into a square, he will put some sticks and connect them with the ropes. The sticks can be found everywhere around the village. This way he will know what type of plant he grows and make sure they don't grow everywhere.
He bought some corn, wheat and bean seeds, so he can try and grow them.
He kept wandering around searching for a place that sells ropes. While walking he found a small kid on the corner begging for money. It is normal to find kids beg for money but he gives me a good feeling, I don't know but I found myself in front of him.
" Sir could you spare a coin please," Said the kid
" What is your name kid, why are you here begging for money, did your father tell you to do it," Jake asked the kid with a strong tone.
" My Name is Ben, No my parents are dead, I don't have a place to stay and no one gave me a job because am just a small kid who is not strong enough, " said Ben with a sad expression
" How that happens, are you speaking the truth or just making stories to touch my heart if that what you want then good luck no one is buying your story," Jake said that and was leaving. Beggars kept telling fake stories all the time, it's not just on earth, it seems everywhere.
" No, am telling the truth, we used to have a farmhouse near Firebend town. Then something bad happened one day and all the area became a drought. Our farm couldn't grow any plants, my father tried everything but nothing worked, my father gave up, he sold his Farm to the Firebend city hall and with the money, he rented a wagon for us to come to SpringFog town, on the road a strong storm hit out wagon, we stayed near the road until the storm calms down. When the storm eased, my dad was going to continue driving. Some bandits came and killed my dad, my mom covered me, so I can run away, she died saving me." Ben was crying while telling me his story.
Man, I feel sorry for him, he saw both of his parents die in front of him. What a sad story. It's a good thing that the guards are patrolling the area around the town, that why the roads are safe but the roads from the town to another town are dangerous.
" Sorry about what happen to you, so where do you live now"? Jake asked Bed.
" Umm... Here and there I don't have a specific place, the guards sometimes give me some food, I don't know anyone here" said Ben while wiping his tears.
" You said that you parent had a farmhouse, so do you know how to farm ?" Jake asked
" Yes, I was helping my dad cultivate the soil and planting" Ben replied.
" Okay come with me, I will give you a job. I will give you food and a room to sleep and that's will be your salary for now. What do you say" Jaked asked him. Ben will be a great help to me if I want to cultivate the farm and he is young I will teach him how to read, write and how to count.
" Thank.. Thank you, sir, ahhhhh, thank… you…. very…. much" Ben blow up crying
" Okay, stop crying you are a man, you need to take responsibility. You need to make your parent proud right. Now come with me, it's lunch time, you look hungry, let's go eat" Jake said smiling at Ben.
