Chapter 5:The WareWolf’s Warning

*As Brittney walked away from the club, she felt a presence following her. She turned to see a tall, brooding figure emerging from the shadows. His piercing yellow eyes gleamed in the moonlight, and his chiseled features seemed carved from granite.

"Brittney, daughter of Rowan," he growled, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine. "You're playing with fire, consorting with a vampire."

"Who are you?" Brittney demanded, standing her ground.

"I am Ryker, a werewolf and a friend of your mother's. She would want me to warn you: Klaus is not what he seems. His kind will only bring you pain and destruction."

Brittney snorted. "You're just trying to scare me, Ryker. I can handle myself."

Ryker's expression turned grim. "You're no match for the supernatural politics at play, Brittney. Trust me, and stay away from Klaus. For your own sake."

With that, he turned and disappeared into the night, leaving Brittney feeling uneasy and unsure.
