Jamison 'Jamie' Reagan x Twin Sister!Army!Reader

You had decided to go back on another tour. Your family wasn't too happy with your decision but at least they respected it. All expect your twin brother. You understood his reasoning, wanting you to be safe. Your mother had said at times that you both could feel the other's emotions. Sometimes you felt that it was true, you could feel the terror he felt for his partner when he got shot and he could feel something similar when you had been wounded. You still weren't sure if it was your own feelings at hearing what had happening or if it had just been a some feeling you had had before the call. He had the same feelings on your shared twin thing as Danny called it, but you both made it work and used it to your advantages at times.

At your last family dinner before you deployed, hadn't gone well. Linda and Erin were trying to keep in their tears at you leaving, the kids were quiet, barely speaking. Danny was doing his usual shovel the food down. Your grandfather, Henry was making small talk about when he served. Your father was making sure that you had enough of your favourite foods to eat. Jamie, your twin, wasn't really talking to you. When Danny commented on it, Jamie got annoyed at the fact you were going back. You got into a rather loud fight, profanities laced with unresolved issues being thrown at each other. Thankfully, the kids hadn't heard the majority of the fight, having been sent to another room at the beginning of it. The fight had ended with neither of you making the move to make up.

At the airport, you straightened your uniform, before hugging your family. Sean hugged with a strengthen you didn't know he had. You kissed his mess of curls. After hugging the rest of your family, you moved to your twin. You still hadn't made up, but you wanted to hug him before you left heading into danger. "Stay safe." You whispered in his ear, kissing his cheek. His arms tightened by a fraction. "You too." His voice was husky. You shouldered your bag and adjusted your uniform before heading off.

A week later, Garrett knocked on your father's office door. Frank Reagan turned from his discussion with Abigail. Garrett's eyes flickered and Frank knew that one of his children had been injured. "Who is it?" Garrett breathed in, not wanting to deliver the news. "Y/N." The air in the office seemed almost oppressive. "She's injured, and IED blew through her convoy. They moved her to New York." Frank stood, with his colleagues, telling him that they'd pray for you.

When Frank arrived with his detail, Jamie was already in your room. He was seated in a chair by your sleeping figure. He stood when he saw his father, wiping at his tears. They hugged, Danny joined the two with a teary Erin under his arm. You woke a few moments later and were immediately bombarded with hugs from Sean, Jack and Nikki. After they finished hugging you, your father, grandfather, Linda, and siblings all hugged you carefully as well. "You really scared us there, kid." Danny told you, you gave a soft smile. "It'll take a lot more than that to kill me." Jamie sighed, "That's not funny." He told you. You shrugged as best as you could, "I know." Your father invited the rest of your family to go get something to eat and get something for you while you and Jamie made up from your previous fight. You made up with him quickly not wanting to drag the fight out much longer. When your family came back, Jamie was in bed beside you with you leaning on his shoulder, laughing while he told you about his recent take down which involved him being shoved into a over turned dumpster.
