Balthazar x Hunter!Reader

"We summon thee, Balthazar?" You looked up at Dean from where you were lounging on the couch. Sam looked up from his laptop, eyebrows scrunched in the middle. "Because that'll work Deano." You mocked him, he pointed his finger at you, his beer sloshing in it's bottle as he moved his hand about. "What do you mean? It works with Cas and Gabriel." You rolled your eyes, "That's because Cas is well Cas and Gabriel likes to use it to scare you." Dean scoffed, "Gabriel doesn't scare me." Sam laughed, you chuckled, "Poking the bear, Dean." Dean looked up and around, raising his hands in a surrender motion.

"Why don't you just try a summoning spell?" You asked, looking through the book you had on spirit lore. "Because, darling, I would hope that these two would be smarter than that." A smoky smooth French accent filtered through, and you looked up from your book to see a well-dressed man behind the couch you were resting on. His blond hair was styled but not to obviously. His blue eyes drew themselves along your figure before meeting your eyes. "I do not believe we have meet before." He gave a charming grin and rounded the couch while you stood. "Y/N L/N." You held out your hand, "Balthazar." His blue eyes seemly burned deep into your own. He took your hand gently, and kissed the back of your hand, his thumb ran along your knuckles as he removed his lips. "This is all very Pride and Prejudice, but can we get back to the case please?" Dean questioned. You looked over at him in shock, and felt Balthazar release your hand. "You've read Pride and Prejudice?" Dean looked affronted. "He's seen the movie." Sam corrected. Dean pointed his finger at his little brother, "It has Kiera Knightly in it. She's perfect." You nodded, pursing your lips in agreement. Balthazar leaned down and whispered in your ear. "So are you darling." You tried to fight the blush making its way onto your face. Balthazar made his way to where you had set up all the information you had.

Throughout the case, Balthazar flirted with you. When you all sat down for dinner, Balthazar pulled out your chair for you and when you leaned back, his fingers grazed your back almost accidently. You would flirt back on occasion, ignoring the wrathful glares of Dean and the assumed/annoyed looks of Sam. When you figured out how to defeat the spirit that was terrorising this town, Balthazar stood. "You've figured out what it is, so I am not going to stick around, not my job. Prefer not to get my hands dirty." He winked at you, "Anytime you need my help, darling, just call." He turned to the Winchester boys, "Not you two." He disappeared with the sound of wings.

You prepared yourself as Dean pulled the Impala up to the desolate warehouse. The three of you got out of the car, you twirled your spirit knife. You grinned, as the three of you moved towards the warehouse. The fight was longer than you thought it would be. There were more than you thought there would be. They managed to split the three of you up. You were cornered, by one who was intent of stealing your soul, like it had the other victims, destroying their physical bodies. There wasn't anything you could do. Suddenly you heard the sound of wings, Balthazar shouted. "All of you cover your eyes!" You did so without much forethought. There was a blinding flash of light, which almost hurt. You opened your eyes after a while. Balthazar moved towards you, a soft smile on his face. "You alright, darling?" You nodded. He helped you out of the corner. Dean and Sam hugged you when they reached you. They both nodded to the angel. The four of you made your way silently towards the Impala.

Balthazar turned to you. "How about dinner, darling?" You turned to face him. "You know, as a thanks for saving your life...and theirs." He added as an afterthought. You smiled, Dean scoffed at the mention of Balthazar saving his and Sam's lives. "I would love to." Balthazar's smile widened, he thickened his French accent just a bit. "I'll bring them back safe." With that there was the sound of wings and you were in Balthazar's penthouse apartment looking out over Paris. You were cleaned up and dressed in a stunning fancy outfit that complimented you perfectly. He handed you a glass of wine, "Only the best for you, my darling." Heat filled your cheeks, and you ducked your head to hide the wide grin. "Shall we continue this on the terrace?" You took his offered hand and he tucked into the crock of his elbow leading you to the candlelight table that over looking the brightly lit city.
