Chapter 20 - Awaken

Adelina's pov:

After our conversation with Chris was over, I went straight to my office. I had a lot of work to do. Mario was waiting for me there. He told me that he had been informed about my overnight stay in Maximus' room and that it would be better for me to go and get some rest. That was definitely Chris' doing and I am grateful to him cause although at the beginning of the day I was feeling very energetic, as the hours passed fatigue overwhelmed me. I am going to thank Chris for that later. So I followed Mario's advice and headed to my room. I took a quick shower and went straight to my bed. I turned off my phone and I immediately fell asleep.
