"What are you saying, Pene? Isn't he in country S?" Sydney asked worriedly.
"I thought so too, but I saw him, Sydney. I'm certain it was him," Pene replied.
Sydney's eyes widened in disbelief, her hand involuntarily reaching for her necklace. "Oh my...," she trailed off, her mind racing with memories.
Her expression turned perplexed.
"Sydney, he didn't seem to be the Jordan we once knew, he seems to have moved on from what had happened. He had a woman who was with him and she seemed to be so close to him, " While Pene's words flowed through the air, the waves of her language passed through one side of her ear and left the other, staring absently, her mind was confined by memories.
"Pene, I don't care if he's moved on or not. I just hope Anna doesn't see him," Sydney said, her voice laced with anxiety.
