CHAPTER 1. A DARK START

Ariana's POV

My name is Ariana Evans daughter of Jeff Evans ,My dad used to own the third biggest winery in all of north California

since we experienced a major lose and we were forced to take a loan with the Hathaway they were a very wealthy people known to own alot of companies ,and in the business agreement Mr Hathaway gave a clause, a clause that later allowed him aquire the company when my father couldn't pay back or raise the amount he was expected to pay off Mr kingston for the company

But out of desperation at the time when everyone else had turned him down ,he signed the documents with Mr Hathaway

Let me tell you a little about the Hathaway ,they are very wealthy,the richest , Mr kingston Hathaway was known for buying smaller companies to build them up only to sell them again ,and they owned the Hathaway empire ,which was one of the biggest financial and investment company in the country .

Mr kingston was known to be a very big business oriented man ,he had a supportive wife who also earn big in the software industry and he had two sons Alan and Elon ,and their little sister Katie but Mr kingston wanted his first to run the company ,he wanted his first son Elon Hathaway to follow in his footsteps .

But Elon was a party freak all he wanted was to spend his father's money and live life to the fullest, in high school he broke my heart and left me .

He went to a private school ,after graduation

He was very smart so and so he got to an ivy league school , Harvard .

Which was one of the best schools in the country I heard he partied through most of his time in the university and but he came out a valedictorian of his class

And about me ,Ariana Evans the first daughter of Mr Jeff Evans my dad ,my dad raised both me and my sister Lana just himself after my mom abandoned her family when my dad started experiencing financial troubles ,I guess when she was taking her vows she only said

' In riches and in health ' she never stayed ,or even came back for us .I heard she got married to my sworn enemy Jen my worse nightmare for that reason I hated my mom the most plus Jen and Elon decided to make my life a living hell following a letter that was issued to my crush Elon Hathaway 'honest to God that was a mistake ' so I decided to be strong and never let any man treat me the way Elon treated me , I became very smart because studying was the only thing I did best and I became the best at whatever I did ,which also earned me a seat at the Hathway's table six years later

It was announced three days ago on the news that Elon was coming back to the city, his father did that to pressurize him to return ,but he didn't agree ,while every single girl was aiming to becoming number one,I was aiming to take my father's company from them and teach Elon Hathaway a lesson of his life if he eventually decides to return following my plans

Alan Hathaway became my friend in the Process of my plans coming together and I really admired him because he was nothing like his brother , his sister kathie was crushing on Seth who so happens to be my bestfriend ,my bestfriend that would do anything I ask him to do because I still haven't forgotten how they all treated me and my sister

I was happy to finally be getting my revenge on the Hathaway's for making my father go through all he went through .

All the humiliation my dad went through when we lost the winery caused him to suffer ischemic stroke

Which left forever scarred

Although I did everything to make sure he was okay ,I couldn't forget the pains even though I wanted to

My hurt was the only thing that drove me to becoming Alan Hathway's friend and soon he got me a job at the H&w industries

I knew in my heart that Alan would want more but I didn't care at the time seeing using anyone to get to my aim I was getting better at lying to myself.....
