Chapter 11: Feelings

Duke looked towards her and a very joyful expression was evident on her face..... she was happy as a child. Duke could not cut out her words. Duke turned on the radio...it was playing the song "Perfect" of Ed Sheeran. Juliet started humming with it...."we were just kids when we fell in love....not knowing what it was...."

Duke relieved seeing that his plan succeeded

"DUKE STOP THE CAR!!!" Juliet said in an excited voice..... Duke stopped the car in the middle of the bridge and looked at her... "What happ...." Before he could complete the sentence Juliet went out of the car and started going towards the sidewalk. Duke noticed it started raining....it was pouring heavily. The clock at his hand showed the time was 0'clock.

All the lights of the city were still on and one...two cars were passing from time to time. Duke was still in the car watching Juliet dancing on the sidewalk like a child who is so happy after getting his favourite toy. Juliet was wearing a white and pink tulip flower printed dress.... Her long hairs were loosely braided on her back....a few locks were covering her beautiful moonface. Her big eyes with long eyelashes were closed and raindrops were kissing her cheeks gently.... She was now standing calmly on the sidewalk facing the vast sky above her...  feeling every raindrops and smelling the sweet smell of the rain.....she was smiling.... That calm and shoothing smile for which Duke also was mesmerized and saved her for the first time.

Some sort of affection was rising in Duke's heart.....he could sense that his Heart Beats were unusual...faster than the normal...he was feeling an invisible pull towards her.

Duke stepped out of the car and as soon as he did that the cold breeze and rain soaked him in the moment. He didn't understand what he was doing but it felt right to him..... He started walking towards Juliet.

Juliet faced back at the car and saw Duke was coming towards her... She said in a high voice...." Duke come here fast....see the city view.... it's so beautiful.....you know it's the First Rain of thi....." Juliet's eyes went wide in sudden shock.

In the silence of the night....the rain was pouring even harder. Only Duke could heard how crazily his heart was pounding in his chest....

Duke went in front of Juliet when she was saying how beautiful the city is looking and grabbed her neck... Without any second thought Duke pressed his lips against Juliet's. Juliet's eyes went wide in shock... She couldn't process the whole thing at that moment. But.... She felt like a tingling sensation in her stomach, a chill of current was rushing through her whole body.

Duke was kissing her passionately but Juliet didn't move. Duke realised after some seconds that what he did..... He was about to pull out his head when he got his answer.... Juliet grabbed the back of his head and started moving her lips. Duke was shocked because he did it rashly in the moment of heat but He didn't think Juliet would respond like this.... Suddenly Juliet grabbed his shirt with the other hand tightly making him come back to their moment..... Duke left the thought to live in the moment once again. Duke bit her lower lip, asking for the permission to enter. She opened her mouth and they deepened the kiss.....

Under the first rain of the season they were kissing eachother and drowning into the ocean of feelings. They kissed for a long time devouring to eachother. They were a breathing mess after a long passionate kiss. Juliet pulled out her head and ran towards the car.... She was breathing heavily and so Duke. The sound of opening and closing of the car door was heard... Duke was now facing the city view. "It was indeed beautiful" the words left his lips and he started walking towards the car.

In the car Juliet was having so many mixed feelings at a time that she felt like she was going through an emotional roller coaster. Her breathing was heavy, the tingling expression in her belly was spreading all over her body, her cheeks flushed the bright colour of red and an unknown smile was plastered on her lips. She was overwhelmed with all kinds of emotions. As she saw Duke was coming back she closed her eyes and faced her head towards the window, pretending to fall asleep.

Duke sat inside the car....he looked at Juliet who seemed asleep to Duke. Duke started the car and reached home. The whole house was in deep sleep. And in the meantime Juliet fell asleep too. Duke didn't wanted to wake her up so he carefully removed the seatbelt and picked her up in his arms. The rain stopped and the weather was chilly. After putting the door lock he entered the house and headed towards Juliet's room.

As they were soaked in the rain Juliet snuggled in Duke's chest more for the warmth.... The hot breathe of Juliet's was brushing against his chest. His whole body was feeling hot at that moment. His heart was beating in an inhuman speed with each step he took towards the room. Entering the room Duke switch on the lights and placed Juliet in the bed. He removed her shoes and tugged her under the warm blanket.

Duke was about to go out of the room when Juliet grabbed his hand. She pulled his hand and placed it in between her two soft hands. Duke didn't remove it he knelt down at the side of her bed and stared at her face. Her cheeks were still red and a smile was curving in her lips. Her long locks were all over her face making her more beautiful. She was happy seemed like she is in a good dream. Duke removed the locks from her face and tugged it behind her ear. She snuggled in the blanket more and in that time Duke take out his hands. Before leaving the room Duke wished "goodnight" to Juliet.
