Chapter 17: Diamond

"You guys have finally arrived." Hikaru said while looking at the five girls in front of him.

The five girls who had come just now were Maya Sato, Chiaki Matsushita, Haruka Hasebe, Kei Karuizawa and of course Kikyo Kushida. They were all dressed in their casual attire and strangely enough, seemed to be in a hurry even though they came 23 minutes later than the appointed time.

"We are so sorry for being late!" Kushida said as she bowed a little.

"Well, it was all her fault." Chiaki said while pointing towards Haruka who just glared at her.

"If her chest wasn't so bi- umph!" Chiaki said though Haruka covered her mouth before she could say anything, that'll remain a mystery I guess.

"Cough! Now that we are here, shall we proceed with today's outing?" Haruka said while blushing slightly, still embarrassed from what Chiaki said.

"Yup!" Kei said as she hugged Hirata's arm prompting a few curses from Ike and Yamauchi, who after ranting for a few minutes, just sighed!

"Well now that we are all here, we should get going without wasting any more time here." Hikaru said as he walked out of the dorm followed by the others.

"Where will we be going first, Hikaru?" Kushida asked Hikaru.

"We will be going to Pallet first, it's quite famous among the girls, don't you know about it?"

"Ah! I know about it! I like that place, the environment seemed comfortable."

"Well, it will be my first time there so I don't know, do recommend me some goodies once we get there." Hikaru said.

"Un!"

"Akiyama-Kun, are you going out with Kushida-chan?" Chiaki asked Hikaru curiously. [E/N-For those who think that she is a MOB, you are absolutely wrong.]

"No, why do you ask?"

"Heh, really? It seems the other's have a chance after all."

"I have no idea as to what you are talking about." Hikaru said, ignoring Chiaki.

"Jeez! You guys, I am still here!" Kushida said as she faked her annoyance.

"We are sorry Kushida-chan! But that was an important question, so I hope that you will forgive us!" Chikai said as she glanced at Maya momentarily.

"We understand that feeling." Ike and Yamauchi said while sagely nodding, though it sounded quite misleading to the others. [E/N- They are talking about Kushida but well...]

After this little episode, Hikaru and the other's continued walking towards Keyaki Mall where Pallet Cafe was located.

"Alright everyone, let's go." Hirata said as he opened the door.

"Damn! It's filled to the brim!" Ike said.

"Ooh! That table just vacated!" Yamauchi said as he dashed to the table.

"Well, there are only 3 seats here." Ayanokoji said.

"Why don't you two sit with me Kushida-chan and Hasabe-san!" Yamauchi said excitedly.

"Ugh, I would rather stand." Haruka said.

"Sure!" On the other hand, Kushida sat on the seat near Yamauchi. [E/N- Don't worry, as long as I am here, I won't let the Author go down that route.]

"Ah! You are an angel Kushida-chan!"

"I'll talk with the manager and see if we can arrange something I guess." Hikaru said as he walked to the reception.

"I'll come with you!" Kushida said as she left her seat leaving a speechless Yamauchi and Ike who consoled him.

"It's okay." Hirata said.

"Anyway, check out this new game console I bought!" like said as he took out a red and blue coloured game console from his pockets.

"Damn! Is that the latest version of XOXO?"

"Yup! I just bought it yesterday."

"How much did it cost?" Hirata asked Ike.

"I got it for cheap! It was priced at 20,000 points but I bought it alongside every available add-on for only 25,000 points!"

'Oi, Oi, you shouldn't waste your points.' Ayanokoji thought though he didn't bother to say it aloud.

"You shouldn't waste your points like this."

"It's alright! We will be getting 100,000 points every month after all. I can afford to spend this much." Ike said with glee while Yamauch nodded alongside him.

"Hmph!" Haruka humphed with contempt.

"By the way, it seems that the First High Schools entrance ceremony is over, I wonder who were chosen this time around. They usually publicize the list in a day or two in order to maintain public order and balance, we will find out later I guess." Hirata said as he looked at his ID.

"I heard that the first-year representative this time around is a girl and is quite powerful. Though it might be just a rumour."

"Oh, guys! They announced the official list!" Yamauchi said while looking at his Student ID.

"Nice timing." Ike said as he searched up the list in his Student ID.

"Woah, the first-year representative is pretty! Oh man, I wanna be a magician now!"

"What's her name? I can't seem to find it."

"It's Shiba Miyuki." Hirata said as the sound of something falling came from behind them.

"Thud! Oh, pardon me, I am quite clumsy today, I'll pay for it too." Hikaru said as he apologized to the staff.

"It's okay."

"Akiyama-san, you are back!"

"Yup! Some tables are gonna be vacated in a few minutes, why don't we wait until then?"

"No problem!"

"By the way, guys, have you heard about Diamond?"

"What's that?" Chiaki asked, quite intrigued by the name.

"It's a company which provided Rental Girlfriend services and it has been quite popular lately!" Ike said as he opened the app in his Student ID. [E/N- : )]

"What's a rental girlfriend?" Hikaru asked Ike because it's the first time he had heard about this.

"Ah, you don't know about it Akiyama-san?"

"Rental Girlfriends are basically girls who will go on a date with you for monetary compensation under their agency. there are many agencies for this, but I like diamond the most!" [E/N- I really don't understand why someone would do this. Don't hate me.]

"Oi, oi, did you forget about us? Shut up your crap, you are ruining the atmosphere." Maya said to Ike while glaring at him.

"That's quite interesting, but well, our seats are ready now. Let's go!" Hikaru said.
