Fairy Tail: I Am Not The Most Terrifying Wizard

Deception Magic? "It's just a weak magic that merely deceives the five senses, 7 basic emotions and six desires," Everit would often say, but no one truly believed it! Natsu: I remember spending an entire day with Everit in the forest, only to realize from Happy that we were actually fishing by the river that day! Gray: I thought I had worn clothes countless times until Master scolded me for walking around shirtless all year! Erza: I used to dismiss Everit's magic as mere trickery. It wasn't until my face erupted in acne after unknowingly consuming chili peppers for a month! Lucy: I once underestimated Everit's strength. It wasn't until we were utterly exhausted from battling the Dark Mages that we realized he had already... Wendy: Despite Mr. Everit's gentle demeanor, he’s really scary. Laxus: Everit, I'd rather not fight with you. "..." Everit could only sigh, "I'm just a weak wizard without offensive magic." ********* *THIS IS A TRANSLATION* https://www.69shu.pro/book/57523.htm Fairy Tail: I am not the most terrifying wizard 妖尾:我才不是最恐怖的魔导士 This is a translation of Chinese Novel. **** Support me on my patreon and read upto 15 early chapters. https://www.patreon.com/AniScout

Chapter 2 : Deception Magic?

'Bang'

The door was violently kicked open.

A boy with cherry-pink hair, spiked up, a winged cat, and a beautiful blonde girl barged in.

"I'm back!" Natsu yelled.

"Welcome back." The guild members responded with smiles.

"Asshole!"

Natsu caused a ruckus as soon as he entered.

"The thing about the fire dragon must be fake, how dare you lie to me!"

With those words, he punched someone away and overturned several tables and chairs.

"Hey, Natsu, calm down!"

The person who was pushed away immediately retaliated and began brawling with Natsu.

Natsu's punch seemed to trigger something, and soon the guild members were fighting each other!

No one was spared, everyone was caught up in the melee!

"Is that idiot Natsu causing trouble again?" Gray, now awake, joined the fray.

"Gray!"

"Natsu!"

Fire clashed with ice as the two engaged in a duel.

The entire guild was suddenly illuminated by various magical lights, intensifying the chaos.

The seats, floor, and even the counter suffered damage. Mirajane pulled Everit aside, looking helpless.

The blonde girl stood bewildered.

Lucy couldn't help but wonder: Is this really Fairy Tail, a guild that is famous throughout the nation?

Suddenly, a chair leg hurtled towards them.

"Watch out, Miss Lucy."

Lucy was pulled out of harm's way by a stranger, but she didn't notice the chair leg vanish after leaving the guild.

Turning to thank her rescuer, she noticed his distinct attire, different from Fairy Tail members.

"Thank you!" Lucy expressed her gratitude, then asked curiously, "How do you know my name?"

"I am Everit de la Valliere, Viscount of the Valliere family. I saw you at your father's party." Everit smiled.

Lucy was taken aback and quickly exclaimed, "Please, keep this a secret for me!"

"No problem," Everit assured her.

"Please, follow me," Everit led Lucy towards Mirajane.

"Wait, be careful!" Lucy noticed the intense battle surrounding them, with tables, chairs, benches, and magic flying everywhere.

Despite the chaos, Everit pulled her through the center of the battlefield. "Don't worry, you won't get hit," Everit reassured her calmly.

Still in shock, Lucy followed Everit towards Mirajane. Tables, chairs, benches, and magic flew above her head, making her feel as though she was walking through hell. However, she managed to reach Mirajane safely and looked ahead.

"Huh?!" Lucy exclaimed in shock.

"Ah?" Mirajane was slightly surprised.

Mirajane remembered pulling Everit away to avoid harming himself as soon as the fighting began. But Lucy had been brought in by Everit from the door.

Two Everit?!

Everit, held by Mirajane, smiled and said, "This is my magic, Miss Lucy. It's just a deception magic."

Everit then took out a card, flipped his wrist, and revealed a supermarket discount coupon.

"Please accept this humble token of our meeting," he said.

"Thank you," Lucy replied, taking the coupon blankly.

"So, Mr. Everit," Mirajane asked with a dangerous smile, "which one of you is the real you?"

"Well, which one do you think?" Everit next to Lucy smiled mysteriously.

Mirajane's eyes narrowed, and her grip on Everit's wrist tightened. The touch felt real, but she couldn't discern whether this was part of Everit's "deception."

"This Mr. Everit seems to have a mischievous personality," Lucy thought.

"That's enough, you fools!"

Suddenly, a giant figure appeared and slammed Natsu down, silencing everyone.

"Oh, Guild Master, you're here?" Mirajane exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah," the giant nodded, then turned his gaze to Lucy. "Newcomer?"

"Yes," Lucy nodded, feeling a little apprehensive.

The giant swiftly shrank until he transformed into a diminutive old man clad in eccentric attire. He greeted Lucy warmly.

"Please give me some advice?"

"Huh?" Lucy exclaimed in surprise.

"So small, and a Guild Master, is it possible?" Mirajane remarked with a smile. "This is Makarov, the Guild Master of Fairy Tail."

"Hey!"

Makarov attempted to flip over onto the second floor but misjudged the height, smacking his head against the railing.

Suddenly, a hand snatched him up like a doll, lifting him effortlessly onto the railing.

"Huh???"

Lucy gasped in shock.

The individual who had acted was none other than Everit!

Standing on the railing, Makarov scolded, "Everit, as a non-S-class, you're not permitted on the second floor!"

"Guild Master, I never went up there," a voice responded from near the door.

"Quit playing tricks, Everit!" Makarov bellowed in frustration.

In an instant, everyone surrounding Mirajane and Lucy on the second floor, including Everit who had just spoken, vanished.

Just then, Everit strolled in through the door, shaking a goblet filled with an orange, sparkling fruit drink.

Thirsty!

At that moment, nearly everyone harbored an intense desire to clobber someone!

Everit halted his sipping.

Makarov brandished a stack of documents and reprimanded everyone, "You're causing chaos again. Look, the Council has inundated us with complaint letters!"

Ashamed, everyone hung their heads.

"But!" Makarov changed the subject, flames erupting from his palms as he incinerated all the complaint letters. "Let the Council choke on their own garbage!" he cursed.

After casting a curse, he hurled the fireball, and Natsu soared upward, devouring it in a single gulp.

"Listen!" Makarov's voice boomed, addressing the guilt-stricken and astonished guild members. "Power that defies common sense stems from common sense!"

at the door.

Everit heeded Makarov's guidance, quietly taking a sip of water to contemplate.

Recalling the wisdom the guildmaster once imparted upon him.

Magic isn't merely a tool for miracles.

It's the wielder of magic who manifests miracles!

However, amidst the backdrop of those mighty spells.

Can my weak deception magic also yield miracles?

Makarov proclaimed loudly: "Pay no heed to the skepticism of others and march forward on the path you believe in! That's the mark of a Fairy Tail wizard!"

"Oh!!!" echoed throughout as everyone, in unison, followed the guildmaster's lead, raising their thumbs and index fingers, exuding a joyous cry.

Everit by the entrance also grinned and raised his hand, mirroring the gesture, albeit somewhat reluctantly.

"Nevertheless." The guildmaster's countenance shifted as he gazed at the wreckage below, speaking with a tone of vexation. "Once again, you imbeciles have messed up the guild once again. It must be restored!"

"Yes—" echoed a chorus of resigned voices.

"Don't fret, Guildmaster," Everit's voice echoed from below.

Everyone blinked in astonishment.

The scene before them had undergone a complete transformation!

Shattered walls?

Splintered tables and chairs?

Cracked floors?

None of these!

Tables and chairs were neatly arranged in the corner.

All congregated together, standing upon a smooth, unblemished floor.

Mirajane remained behind the counter, a steadfast presence amidst the chaos.

Lucy stood poised before the counter, her gaze fixed ahead.

Beside her, Evelit perched on a stool, swirling a goblet of sparkling fruit drink in his left hand. With a smile, he remarked, "Truth be told, nothing sustained damage."

Makarov observed Evelit intently, a particular gleam in his eyes.

"Ever—it!!!"

The eruption of the crowd's roar threatened to pierce through the very ceiling!
