Breaking through by walking chapter 1

In a vast expanse of desert, there was a young man, who seemed around the age of 16, walking alone. He seemed dehydrated, malnourished, and it seemed that it wouldn't be long that before the young man's death.

"How long have I been walking for ?" The young man mumbled to himself.

It had been 2 days since Victor was banished from his family. He was banished because he did not have any talent to cultivate.

In this world, there were people who could cultivate spiritual energy, to become something akin to deities, however, not everyone could walk this path.

Victor was the son of the patriarch of the Talen clan. When he was born, he was deemed a genius as he was born with a Rank 1 Body, Core and soul.

No one had seen this before, and since he was so talented, he was doted on by everyone in the clan, however, there were obviously people who were jealous.

His father's concubine, Rin Talen, fed Victor and his mother poison from the day he was born.

His mother, who was a mortal, wasn't able to take the poison, and died 2 weeks later. The imperial doctors, and alchemists who came to inspect her all said she died due to giving birth to a person who was a Rank 1 cultivator.

His father after hearing this did not blame Victor. He still loved him wholeheartedly.

However, eventually, the poison started to take its effects, and at the age of 10, all of his cultivation regressed.

His father still loved him dearly, and Victor didn't really care that his cultivation was gone. After all, his mother died due to him being a cultivator, so he did not really have a good opinion on them.

However, it was 6 years later, he found out about his mothers poisoning, by overhearing his step-mother talking to his uncle.

It was also that day, his father was found dead in his compound, and Victor was banished from the clan.

However, they didn't stop there, they sent people to kill him, however luckily for him, they were mere bandits. It seemed like they wanted to make it seem like a robbery, but Victor had escaped.

He was now leaving his family's sphere of influence, so he couldn't stay in the Black-Water kingdom where his family ruled.

He was now walking to the Sunfall kingdom, which was roughly 2 years away for a mortal to walk to on foot.

Soon, his body lost its energy, and his legs gave out.

"HAHAHAHA, I am going to die on my birthday. I am sorry mother, father. It seems like I will be meeting with you earlier than expected." Victor said, as he fainted from the fatigue he had accumulated.
