Chapter 8

"Of course" he put one hand across his shoulders and lightly bowed to show his respect.

"We are year 1 students enrolling in your school and I came here to find my partner. He or she is a student of yours. I'm hoping to find him as soon as possible."

"However I can be of help, I will do my utmost best, mother"

"It's not much, I just want his pair during school activities and I want to be in as much class as our different classifications allow."

"It's done"

"Great! To avoid unnecessary attention we'll attend as normal students but I would like if the 3 of them can share a room. I'll take anybody." she pointed at the 3 quiet boys standing in the middle room.

"They can take room 345, it can be modified with spells so Xander should be able to rearrange it to his liking. No one uses room 16 so you can use that room. Orientation starts in ten minutes so you can drop your bags off and head to the auditorium."

"Alright, we part ways here Sham" Alyra got up and pulled Sham in to a hug.

"It's good to see you, mother" Sham returned the hug tightly before letting go and heading to open the door.

"Let's go boys"

When the door closed Xander, Dyon and Max were still staring at Alyra.

"Is there anything you can't do?" Max asked her jokingly.

"Stay alive apparently. I mean witches are immortal so why do I keep dying?" she laughed as she walked off.

"Talk about dark" Max muttered as they followed behind her.

When they reached the lawn that separated the two dorms Alyra turned to them.

"Drop your bags and meet me back here in 5 minutes. I mean it, have sex when you get back" Alyra ordered before she turned and walked off.

"We weren't even going to have sex" Xander muttered.

"Go, please" Alyra threw the words over her shoulder.

She stopped in front of room 16 before turning the knob and entering. The room was spotless with not a speck of dust in sight. What intrigued her were the things in the room but she had to observe when she returned since she had no time.

Back in the trio's room, Max was putting their bags by the foot of their bed and Dyon grabbed Xander to pull him in for a quick kiss. It was soft and light but still gave Xander a feeling in his stomach.

"Hey! Alyra said no sex!" Max interrupted them. Dyon broke the kiss and grabbed max who was walking over to break them up.

"We're not having sex, just a light kiss. Are you saying you don't want me to kiss you?" Dyon smiled softly at Max. He always found it unfair how Xander and Dyon were towering over him. It's not like he's short, he stands at 5 feet 9 inches but those two are already way over 6 feet and it annoyed him to no end but he still enjoyed looking up to them.

"Just a quick one" he smiled before grabbing Dyon's jacket and pulling him in for a kiss.

"Okay, okay, let's go now. I'm not looking for Alyra to bite my neck off."

"If your memories from your previous lives are back, then why are you still afraid of her?" Dyon asked Xander as they existed the dorm.

"That's a stupid question and you know it"

When they met Alyra back on the lawn, she was tapping her fingers with her elbows folded. An indication that she was out of patience.

"I'm sure we're already late so I won't say anything, let's go" was all Alyra said before she turned on her heels and started heading for the auditorium.

The doors for the auditorium were open so they walked right through and took a seat with the rest of the first years. Pretty soon, the headmaster walked in and everyone got quiet. The headmaster looked pretty fierce, you would never believe it was the same Sham ten minutes ago.

"Welcome! New students of Ausillum Academy, my name is Headmaster Sham, also known as Professor Sham. I am the owner of this school and your history teacher. With myself, there are 9 other professors who teach History, Languages, Math, Potion Making, Combat, Battle Arts, Spell Casting, Spectral Diversion, Shift Control and Bonding."

"You will spend the next 3 years in this school learning, adapting and developing what you will learn. All students are split between two teams of black and white. At the end of each school year, there will be a test between the teams to evaluate your studying. You will be tested in all ten areas regardless of if you are a witch, lamia, magus or lycan. That's why the two teams are a mixture of all four classifications so there won't be any disadvantages."

"The school president and his vice president will each have a bag full of either black or white balls. Whichever color you pick will be the team you're assigned to. While they are sharing out, the colors, I will be going over the rules of this academy." he looked down and opened a book that they were all guessing had the rules.

"Rule number 1: The uniforms provided by the school are to be worn at every class that involves a classroom, failure to do so will result in right up slips. After the 3rd slip, suspension will follow. Number 2: On absolutely no excuse are lamias allowed to feed on students or teachers of this school unless it is your bonded pair. Failure to listen will follow immediate expulsion"

Xander has been watching the vice president for a while and he definitely knew that face. Ito was Alyra's pair younger brother in every life she lived and with her memories, there was no way she would forget him, which meant her pair here as well.

"Number 3: Witches under no exception are allowed to use dark magic against each other or their soul pets. That is illegal and you will be arrested and charged with that crime. That will certainly not look good in your graduating profile."

A bag appeared in Alyra's vision and she slowly traced the hand of that bag up to his face. She could feel it, it was him. Her lover in this life and boy was she eager to see what he looked like.

"Xue!" Alyra sprang up out of her seat. She was very excited to finally meet him that she was about to jump in to his arms.

"My name is Sage, not Xue. You have the wrong person I believe." Sage was polite when he spoke to Alyra, almost professional.

"Is it Sage in this life? Not bad! I kind of like it! I'm just so happy to see you" she took a step forward to give him a hug but Sage took a step back.

Alyra stopped, now realizing that something wasn't right.

"Sage, do you not know who I am?" she smiled at him, to which he replied

"I'm sorry but I don't" his speech was very professional but very distant, like he really didn't know her.

"Don't you recognize me?" her smile completely vanished as she realized that he might not know her.

"I'm sorry but I've never met you before, I'm sure I would remember" he replied

Alyra felt like the world was spinning, her stomach was churning. He didn't remember, his memories of his past life unlike mine, were not there.

"I'm sorry" without thinking Alyra grabbed the first ball she touched in the back and ran out the door choking up on her tears.
