Chapter 4

Seoul, South Korea, inside the C-rank dungeon

Kade, disguised as Tae-jun and Hwang Dongauk'a party entered the dungeon without a problem, once inside the dungeon, Kade's whole demeanour changed

He was trained to deal with threats quick and precise leaving them no room to become a problem later on, so as soon they entered the dungeon he already scheduled the time of their deaths

Sensing the changes, Dongsuk couldn't help but ask Kade

"Hey Tae-jun, is something wrong?"

Kade did not immediately reply and just looked at them one by one with a smile itched on his face

"Sorry kind sir I already forgot your name, but please do tell me the plan, were you gonna stab me in the back while occupied or were you all just planning on ganging up on little ol' me?"

Hearing this Donsul wore a surprised expression on his face, he tried to play dumb and reason with Kade, but one of his little goons seemed to be void any patience

"Forget about it boss, let's just get this over with and kill him, I don't see anything worth that much on him, let's be quick and get another lamb to slaughter"

Hearing this Dongsuk couldn't help but sigh and facepalm

"I told you to have patience, the best part of what we do is not the money, it's the look on their face once they realise they won't be getting out of the dungeon alive"

Dongsuk grimly explained to his goons while ignoring Kade who seemed to be just smiling the whole time without even a look of surprise on his face that they were expecting

"And what the hell is wrong with you, you knew we were gonna kill you and yet here you are smiling as if nothing's wrong, are you crazy?"

One of the goons couldn't help but say that, since the start he's been observing Kade because he's giving him a bad feeling, he couldn't exactly tell what it was but it was making his body itchy

Ignoring the goons, Kade looked at Dongsuk with the same smile and put his hand on his chin as if he were thinking of something

"I'm sensing a family issue here, is it a daddy issue? No that doesn't seem like it, mommy issue? No, not that one either hmm, maybe something to do with a sibling?"

Kade was muttering to himself just loud enough so that they could hear what he was saying, hearing the last part Dongsuk couldn't help but clench his teeth in anger

Noticing the reaction, Kade made an expression of someone who just figured out something grand

"Hmm, it appears that you have an issue with your sibling and it seems to be jealousy, from what I remember your brother is an S rank, good enough to be snatched away by America with great effort as for you…my apologies who are you again?"

With this Dongsuk burst with speed and tried to punch Kade, but with great precision, Kade kicked him in the stomach causing Dongsuk to flew back with great speed and hit the dungeon wall making a dozen-meter crater, Dongsuk fell off the wall vomiting a large amount of blood and some guts mixed within

The irrelevant characters were shocked seeing this, they were too stunned to do anything which cost them their life

Kade quickly made a move and attacked the closest one with his limbs transformed into a long black blade.

Kade cut the first person in half with blood going everywhere, but suddenly black biomass came out of Kade's body and consumed the body leaving no trace behind

Wasting no time Kade turned his body and slashed all three at the same, the blade made no resistance cutting their bodies and getting consumed by him.

As he consumes the bodies he's also getting used to having new memories imprinted on his brain making no impact on his actions whereas he fell on his knees the first time

His physical properties are also getting a small upgrade making it more durable and dealing more damage, as for the magic properties they seem to be a new thing for the biomass and are taking its time consuming it, he almost felt like the black biomass was studying the magic properties.

As Kade looked at his surroundings the only one left was Dongsuk on the floor twitching from time to time

As Kade made his way to the soon-to-be meal Dongsuk, he looked at Kade with great fear in his eyes alongside with confusion, with great efforts he muttered something that Kade barely heard even with his enhanced sense

"M-my B-b-brother…w-will kill you I-if you y-yu kill m-me"

Kade just smiled at him and with great force stump on his head crushing it while the black biomass came out of his foot and quickly absorbed Dongsuk's whole body

After absorbing Dongsuk, Kade got a decent body upgrade boosting his durability even more and he could feel something new exploding within his body making a gust of wind at his surroundings

Looking at his hand he could see a black hue glowing, almost looking like a shadow, but he knew it was nothing like a shadow because he knew that it was his mana, what it could do he didn't know, but with his intellect, it wouldn't take a long time to figure out what it does

With that done Kade continued walking deeper into the dungeon with one goal in mind, to absorb everything on his path making him even stronger.

"I wonder what your brother would do when he finds out that you're dead, well it wouldn't really matter since he won't, no one will"

With that Kade slowly walked deeper and deeper into the dungeon with a smile on his face, knowing that once everyone finds out the Dongsuk is dead there would be no consequence as no one even knows that he was with them.

And even if they did they will not be able to do anything as by that time, he would be stronger than even the chairman himself
