Evolution of an Incubus

This probably going to be a trash book like all my other books so please don’t bother reading. The updates will be sporadic at best. Now if you do decide to read, I feel sorry for you. If you don’t, you made a good choice.

Chapter 14

Sol and Dathan spent the rest of the day together. Dathan explained as much as he could about things that Sol asked about. For instance how this person was or why that person took that action. They also looked for their classrooms. Sol and Dathan were in completely different classes. They said they didn't discriminate between nobles and commoners but that was evidently not true.

The nobles got all the higher classes with better classrooms. They might say that it was because the noble had a better education before the knighthood but all that did was rub it into the commoner's faces.

Sol didn't really care about all of this. All he really cared about right now was finding a good life source for food. And maybe a woman. He hasn't gotten his dick wet for almost a year.

Anyways, His classes went like this:

1. Training: You will report to the training field at 6:00. Here you will both gain and improve a sword mastery skill.

2. Breakfast

3. English: Learn how to speak, read, and write properly.

4. Lunch

5. Special course: Dance: Sence you are a commoner by birth, you will need to take dance lessons. These will be private as most of the knights are nobles and already know how to do this.

6, Dinner

Sol thought this was totally buyest because now he would not be able to see very many women dancing in who knows what but, at least now he could try and seduce the teacher and have his private time every day he wants.

"I feel sorry for you, man. I heard the dance instructor is insanely strict with her classes." Dathan said.

"I don't think it will be a problem. As long as I work hard, I should be able to surpass even your nobles" Sol said with an excited face. Had taken a liking to Dathan. Maybe he would make him a servent after he found Sylvia and sacked the castle and royal family for taking her in the first place.

People seemed to like the positive attitude that Sol had put on so he continued with it.

As the sun started to set, people started to congregate near the dining hall. There were hundreds of thousands of knights here. Sol wondered how they could possibly fit these many people in a hall then he remembered there was such thing as spacial magic.

Then entrance was 2 huge oak doors. They could literally take up 4 lanes of traffic in the modern world and were as tall as cellphone poll. They were some of the biggest doors Sol had ever seen. Everyone was let in in an orderly fashion. They were split into groups of our bracket then into groups based on their age.

(Authors note: I am kind of going for a Harry Potter dining hall just like x100)

Dathan explained that the different colors of tailcoat are different depending on what bracket you are from. The red ones were for the Rose knights like Sol. There were Yellow ones for the archery bracket, Green ones for the regular army bracket, and Blue ones for the navy bracket.

The regular army bracket outnumbered the Rose knight bracket 10 to 1. The archery was the second most popular followed by the navy, then us. Our classes were usually determined in the first week when people get here unless you are a Rose knight.

Dathan continued to explain that you only became a Rose knight if you had stats extremely high for your age. His stats were a little lower than Sol's since he didn't distribute his hidden quest rewards. If he did that, he would be able to overpower every single person in this room with a swish of his finger.

Anyways, Sol and Dathan entered the dining hall and took their seats. They were really far from the front but they could see people sitting at those tables that were perpendicular to us.

Sol leaned over to Dathan and asked him, "Who are they?"

"You don't know? Dang. And I thought everyone knew who the King, Queen, and their children looked like. I guess it is only a commodity to the nobility." Dathan said with a smirk on his face.

"The king and queen, huh," Sol replied.

He did his best to focus in on them and found that there were indeed 2 people that looked like a king and a queen with 3 children on each side. Holy shit !! This person had six kids!! Sure two of them looked pretty grown-up but god dame.

After this bit of insight, everyone stood up. It felt like it was a thunderclap in the room. Then everyone heard a voice.

"Good day to you, honored knights. We are all gathered here today to welcome our new recruits!!" The King said.

Cheers erupted throughout the hall. It shook the very structure of the place.

"Yes, Yes. I know you are all very excited about this. I will also give you some more good news. Last year we have gathered a new monster from the Dark Forest. It is a snake type monster called an Apophis. It had been nurtured and is not ripe for the picking at an astounding level of 374 If you are able to kill the beast, I will guarantee that person and that person's family a noble title as well as land."

The cheering restarted.

"But I also must warn you ... this is no monster to trifle with. She is intelligent and a master at illusion and hypnotism type magic. Because of this, only 3rd years and above are allowed to enter its cell." The king said.

There was a loud gasp from the crowd.

"Now, sadly, I must move to the bad news. In 5 years' time, we will be having the 3rd and final Holy War. This last war will be the deciding factor between us and the demons. The person who wins will rule the continent for all eternity. This war will be the most bloody thing you will ever see. But, With great risk comes great reward. It has been for told by the gods that the winner of this battle will be given a scroll containing the magic of immortality. If we win this, you will be able to become immortal soldiers!!" The king said.

The crowd continued cheering. Sol was the only person not cheering. He was only thinking and using all his heightened scenes to try and find Sylvia the instant the king said the word Apophis.
