Chapter five

Flashback in Rylan's pov

Knock, knock    he doesn't move

Knock, knock.    He still doesn't move

Knock

          Knock

                    Knock

Finally, he wakes up from his favorite grey rocking chair, next to the fireplace, and walks toward the door

He opens the door and freezes

Then he turns to face me for the first time in two weeks

"Rylan go up to your room and don't come out till I tell you to!" his voice is sharp

He waits for a response so I nod, stand up and make my way half way up the staircase and sit down so that I am able to hear the conversation as well as remain out of site.

" Cesar, I didn't know where else to go or what else to do so I came straight here" I hear a female voice. She sounds young maybe early twenties

"WHAT do you mean u didn't know what to do" he sounds annoyed as If he didn't want the lady to show up at his doorstep at 9 in the morning

"I went to the doctor this morning and it turns out that I am pregnant Cesar. It is your child. I don't know what to do. If my parents find out they will disown me" the lady starts sobbing.

"Ciara we both know that isn't possible. We used protection so whoever else's dick got stuck in your ass you can go and give him The responsibility of a child ok because I already have the burden of looking after Rylan after his mother killed herself. I do not need another one"

"Cesar please you have to take the responsibility of it." she pleads

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU WHORE" he is angry. I could recognize that anger from across the world. He yells when he is about to get violent. And he is definitely going to get violent with this lady so I need to do something to help her and her child

"you was very well aware of the possibility of pregnancy yet you still chose to open your legs so how is this my problem go deal with the child yourself cause I don't want it"

"don't make me take responsibility for your mistakes" he screamed at the lady then "BANG" she screamed.

He pushed her against the glass cabinet and it broke.

I wake up. I sprint down the stairs and towards my father.

"dad... Dad" then I throw up in the living room

"WHAT the fuck Rylan. Get in the fucking car we are going to the doctor" then he looks at the lady "and you better get the fuck out. Go tell that boyfriend of yours that it's his child, get married and leave me the fuck alone"

Tears fall down her cheeks as she collects her bag and heads toward the door and out of the house
