Chapter 17: Harassment and Humiliation

Rahul who was helping Bharat and showing the way to the class had ulterior motives towards him since his girlfriend Mary and his group of friends has despised Bharat due to his low status and appearance as they thought that if someone from low class come to study in their college that will demean their status as well so they did not want Bharat to study with them and wanted to harass him so that he can be forced to leave the college in the end. So Rahul thought "I have to teach this idiot a lesson so that his kind of people would think twice before enrolling to our prestigious college and he will never dare to study here in the future."

After coming to the first year classroom Rahul said "This is our class come inside."

Bharat followed him feeling a bit apprehensive as he felt something was wrong with the situation and the rest of the group also followed them into the class after them.

On the other hand Rahul had an inkling that today he was going to have a lot of fun since earlier they were unable to do anything to Bharat since they were on the campus in the open area and a lot of teachers were present and moving around so they could only talk about the sprint competition which was an official sports competition of the college however now they were going to enter the classroom which was almost empty and did not have any CCTV camera installed also apart from a few odd students and their group no one was there to witness their evil deeds which they were going to perform and it was still 45 minutes early before the start of the first class so they had ample amount of time before someone interrupts them from their fun session.

Even though he was a little nervous when he first walked into the classroom, he exuded determination because he knew how difficult it would be for his parents to pay for his college tuition, and he wanted to make the best possible impression on both his teachers and fellow students.

Rahul went to the back of the class and beckoned his friends to bring Bharat and to close the door of the classroom his friends complied by grabbing Bharat from all sides and taking him at the back of the class after closing the door.

Rahul said pointing to the unwashed floor behind the back bench with disdain: "This is going to be your seat, you scum sit here now and clean our shoes."

With that the group tried to make Bharat sit on the floor with force.

Bharat realized that he had walked into some trouble and did not know how to handle the situation since it was his first day of college. In the past when he was at his school he had his group of friends who supported him but now he was alone so he was dearly missing his friends at this point of time since if he had his friends with him then he would not be humiliated like this and his friends would have stood up for him.

Bharat said: "No I will not sit on the floor."

Bharat resisted and did not sit on the floor however being suppressed by so my hands he was being overpowered and when Rahul saw that Bharat was resisting he punched him on the stomach which caught Bharat off guard and then he fell down on the floor.

As soon as Bharat fell on the floor they pinned him to the ground and then started beating him up and kicked him a few times.

Bharat attempted to fight back against them but was unable to do so. He was perplexed as to why he was unable to fight back against the students but was able to beat up the crime lord's gang members back in Rajgarh town as they were making their way to the train station. What has changed since that time to the present, then? He felt as though he had the strength to defeat them, but he could not bring himself to use it at this time, so he was made to put up with the suffering and beatings.

Bharat questioned them: "Why are you torturing me in this way, guys? Why are you guys treating me this way? What did I do to you guys? I've never been to this campus, and this is the first time I've met you."

Mary responded this time. "That is because a scum like you has dared to set foot in this prestigious college. People like you do not have any rights to set foot in a college where we the people of high class society go for their education or live. So if you roll back your admission from here then we can consider letting you go."

He was speechless as he listened to Mary since such cruel and sad words were being delivered by such a stunning person. He believed that although this woman was attractive on the outside, on the inside, she was just as devious and malicious person, with hidden agendas.

Bharat said: "I am sorry I cannot unroll from here. You guys can do whatever you can, however I will not change my decision."

Rahul was pissed seeing Bharat firm on his decision so he said: "So you will not leave this college then be ready for the suffering." With that he kicked Bharat on his stomach and face with full strength and his friends also started kicking him and Bharat could only suffer since he was being pinned down by so many of them. Although he was feeling the pain and was getting physically injured however strangely he could feel that internally there was something or some kind of power which was not letting him get injured seriously and he felt like he was healing as well.

After getting their fill on beating him Rahul put his feet on Bharat's chest and ordered him: "Now since you have decided to be in this college you have to do as we say so first of all start polishing our shoes as they have become filthy after coming in contact with your body."

Bharat could only stare at them angrily as he could not understand how to get out of this situation and why they were harassing him like this just at that moment a loud and authoritative voice was being heard "Hey! What are you guys doing? Why are you guys bullying and torturing this lone fellow?"
