Episode 9

In the next coming of days, Xiaobai's maid Cha Cha helped her pack some stuff for the travel to visit her husband to be's Kingdom. They both rode the carriage as her maid sat on the back, her legs dangling from the edge as guards from her Kingdom walked with them for protection.

Sitting beside the Princess in the carriage, Dijun was thinking about what Si Ming had told him, that Feng Jiu was to experience friendship, love and betrayal.

Dijun knew she had experienced friendship with Cha Cha who was very close to her, now she was to experience love, through him.

'I am not to keen to betray her, but what am I to do?' Dijun asked himself and sighed, but he sighed out loud.

"Are you okay your Highness?" she asked looking to him with worry, but he shook his head and smiled at her.

"Nothing is wrong your Highness, we have a festival coming up, I would like to show you if you would like?" he asked and she smiled happily.

"I love festivals, how can I refuse?" she asked with a bright smile, They travelled two days while stopping from rest, they finally arrived upon the gates into his Kingdom.

"Stop the carriage, I wish to walk among the people, to see the stalls" Xiaobai said as she called out her maids name. The carriage came to a stop and Cha Cha appeared at her side.

"Yes your Highness?" Cha Cha asked, bowing to her as Xiaobai smiled.

"Help me down, we will be walking the rest of the way, I want to see places before arriving at the Palace" Xiaobai said as her maid helped her down and Dijun stepped down behind her.

"Your Highness, it would be a good idea for us to meet at the Palace" Xiaobai said, linking her arm with her maid.

"I will guide you, as you can get pretty lost around here" Dijun said as Xiaobai puffed out air but did not complain as he showed them the way, stopping when Xiaobai found some things to buy.

As they finally arrived at the Palace by noon, Cha Cha was escorted to Xiaobai's chambers to drop their stuff before taken to the throne room where Xiaobai would be, meeting with her husband to he's parents.

As they were announced in, Xiaobai slipped her arm into his and they walked into the throne room. There sat a beautiful woman and her husband, looking more royal then Xiaobai did.

Moving her arm from his, she got to her knees and leaned her head to her arms on the ground in greetings.

"Xiaobai greets your Majesties" she said as the Queen nodded to her son who leaned down and helped the Princess to her feet.

"I am Imperial Princess Xiaobai from the Wei Kingdom, I thank you for allowing me to come visit with his Highness" Xiaobai said with a smile.

"My dear, you may call us your parents, we have received the invitation of your engagement with our son" the Queen said as her son smiled

"Xiaobai gives thanks, mother and father" Xiaobai said as she bowed to them as the Prince walked to his mother, who happily hugged him.

"This calls for a celebration to welcome her Imperial Highness to our Kingdom and our Palace" the along said as the Queen nods in delight.

"I will send invitations to the noble families that live close by, have them bring their sons and daughters" the Queen said with blissful happiness.

After meeting the King and Queen, the Prince walked with her to the pavilion surrounded by a lotus pond, a stone bridge made way from the path to the wooden floor of the pavilion.

Xiaobai smiled as she commented on the view, she walked under the roof of the pavilion as Dijun used magic behind his back to make it start raining rose petals

The Princess's smile became wider and her eyes brimmed with happiness as she danced around the pavilion, her arms outstretched as the petals fell from her head.

Dijun then stepped forward, moving his arm around her waist, he brought her close to him. The Princess looked up at him, blinking in surprise as he held her, one arm outstretched and the other on his shoulder.

"I have never met anyone as beautiful as your Imperial Highness" Dijun said as her face went red as she blushed and looked away from him.

"You don't need to involve romance, if you only wish to be married on paper" Xiaobai said before the Prince leaned his head down and kissed her right on the lips.

Xiaobai's eyes went wide when he kissed her, she could hear the thump of her heart in her ears before her own eyes closed, she didn't bother to resist, because for now, she started to feel some affection towards the Prince kissing her.

Cha Cha who had followed them both as she was the maid to her Highness, saw the Prince leaning down and kissing Xiaobai.

A smile lit the maids face as she happily and silently rejoices that her Highness was finally getting her happy ending.

'She deserves to have love now, I am so happy that her Highness has decided on such a lovely and loyal Prince to become her husband and Emperor of the Imperial Palace' Cha Cha thought to herself when a figure appeared beside her.

Cha Cha was starting to scream before he covered her mouth and told her to shut up.

"What are you doing here?" The man asked as she pointed toward the pavilion where the Prince and Princess were kissing.

"Her Highness is my mistress, we came here from the Wei Kingdom as his Highness brings her here to meet his parents and to enjoy the festival's" Cha Cha said with a smile.

"I also apologise, my name is Cha Cha" she said with a smile on her face as she held her hand out to shake his.

"I am Qingti" he said without taking her hand, she pouted as he pushed past her and walked towards the couple.

Cha Cha ran after him, calling his name to make sure he didn't disturb them, but he did, the couple broke apart with Xiaobai blushing red.

"We should go to our chamber" Xiaobai said, moving away from the Prince, she linked her arm with Cha Cha's as they walked off.

Dijun looked to his guard with an angry face, not extremely happy to have been disturbed from his moment with the Princess.

"What?" His guard asked, looking to the Prince after he bowed to him.

"Next time don't interrupt or you will be punished" Dijun said and turned to walk away from his guard.
