Episode 2

After Feng Jiu transformed into her fox form, she ran down the stairs from the throne room, never in her life had she felt so embarrassed in her whole life, running from the room when there were people far more important then her in the room.

Feng Jiu had been living in Qing Qiu all of her life, now that she had ventured to the Heavenly Realm to visit her aunt as the Queen of Qing Qiu, she wanted to experience some time there, as well as to learn from her aunt on how to be a good Queen and Goddess.

Feng Jiu ran to her aunt's Palace to wait for her there, back in the throne room, Dijun converged with the Empress and Emperor about the Queen of the Demon Realm making troubles in the Moral Realm.

"I do apologise for my niece's behaviour as she left, she is new and doesn't know much about the Heavenly Realm" Bai Qian said as Dijun nodded his head to her.

"There is no need to, she has never been out of her Realm before and didn't have enough time to be told of the rules, I am sure one of her maids will be able to help her adjust during her stay here" Dijun said,

After their conversation, Dijun excused himself and left the throne room. Passing by the Emperor and Empress's Palace, he noticed a red fox sleeping on the swing that sat near the doors to the Palace.

Tilting his head to the side a bit, he then walked up to the sleeping fox and took off his purple gown, gently lying it over the body of the sleeping fox who was in a deep sleep to wake up.

After watching the fox sleep for a while, he then left to return to his Taichen Palace, sitting at the table, resting his elbow on his knee as Si Ming entered.

"My Lord" he said and bowed to him before sitting opposite him at the table, picking the jug up and pouring two cups of tea, holding one of the full cups towards Dijun who opened his eyes and received the cup from him.

"I heard that you met the little Princess from Qing Qiu" Si Ming said as Dijun looked at him with an evil look.

"It's Queen Feng Jiu, she ascended the throne of Qing Qiu after her aunt became the Empress of the Heavenly Realm" Dijun said.

"I saw you with her to, you watched her sleeping on the swing" Si Ming said and Dijun tsked at Si Ming silently.

They conversed about the matter of the Demon Queen who was to interested in gaining power to take on the Heavenly Realm, she wanted to threaten the other Realms that supported the Empress and Emperor.

"Do no let the Queen of Qing Qiu know of this matter, I will be taking care of it myself" Dijun said as Si Ming nodded and watched as Dijun got up from his spot and walk out of his Palace.

Meanwhile later, Feng Jiu conversed with her aunt, gaining some knowledge and learning of life in the Heavenly Realm. She was half thinking about the purple gown that wrapped her in warmth when she woke up in her human form.

After gaining some knowledge, Feng Jiu bid farewell to her aunt, to head over to her temporary Palace, she walked along the railing of the bridge, the lotus pond spread out far and underneath the bridge.

To immersed in the lotus pond and not concentrating nought, Feng Jiu found herself in front of Taichen Palace. Feeling her face get warm and hot, she turned around before someone walked past her and she looked up to see Si Ming who smiled at her.

Feng Jiu remembered when he visited her Realm when her aunt was still Queen of Qing Qiu, when she endured her love trial to ascend to High Goddess.

"What brings you here little Princess?" he asked, he still called her that nickname, even thought she was a Queen now.

"Don't ask me, I was to concentrated on the lotus pond, which looks beautiful, I think I might make one in Qing Qiu so I can enjoy the lovely pond" Feng Jiu said with an absent smile.

As they walked over to the Pavilion near Taichen Palace, Feng Jiu and Si Ming talked about her stay in the Heavenly Realm, but there was a question that had been nagging at her mind.

"I do want to ask, have you seen Lord Dijun?" Feng Jiu asked, hoping to not sound excited or to happy as she sipped from her cup.

"I just saw him before he went out for some business" Si Ming said, sneaking a glance in Feng Jiu's direction to see her blush slightly at his words.

"Did he, uh ask you about me?" Feng Jiu asked, wondering what Lord Dijun thought about her from their first meeting.

She had been half hoping to avoid him since she basically broke the rules and half hoping he would say something nice about her, or admit he liked her just a little bit.

"No, he didn't" Si Ming said and Feng Jiu nodded glumly, she then turned in her seat and used her magic to reveal Dijun's purple gown on the floor beside her.

"I woke up to this on me when I was sleeping in front of my aunt's Palace, waiting for her to return" Feng Jiu said and he nodded at her.

"I did see him watch you sleep; it was quite amusing" he said, making Feng Jiu look at him with a confused look on her face.

"Lord Dijun is the cold type you know, he never comes to events and he barely has any maids within his Palace, if you wanted, I could get you a spot in his Palace as his maid" Si Ming offered.

"I may have to think about that offer, I will be returning to my Palace to get some sleep, today's events have tired me out, I haven't been sleeping well lately, plus tomorrow I might return home temporarily to deal with some things " Feng Jiu said.

After her conversation with Si Ming, she ventured to Taichen Palace, to find any clues as to where Dijun had disappeared to. Sitting at the main table, Feng Jiu found a piece of paper with some writing on it, there she knew where Dijun went, she left the table and ran to the East Side Gate.

Vanishing through the Gate and appearing on the other side, she found herself in the Mortal Realm, looking around, Feng Jiu heard something in the distance, she then followed the sound and used her fox senses to come to a clearing, where bamboo trees surrounded the area.

There she saw Dijun standing across from a woman, by the look of her clothes, she knew that the woman was the Demon Clan's Queen, she was the one she heard of, that wanted to overthrow the Heavenly Realm.

As the Queen used her magic sword to attack, Feng Jiu impulsively moved forward and used her magic sword that glowed pink to block the Queen's attack.

"Feng Jiu" Dijun said from behind her and she turned her head, a bright smile on her face.

"You can't get rid of me that easily my Lord" Feng Jiu said as she used her strength to push the Queen back as she hissed angrily at her.

"I'm guessing the little girl that has come to play is your secret weapon?" she laughed as Dijun pushed the fox Queen behind him.

"I am not little!" Feng Jiu yelled.

"She has no business here; it is our fight, not hers" Dijun said as Feng Jiu pushed herself away from him.

"I don't need protection, I can handle myself" Feng Jiu said angrily, holding onto her sword tightly in her small hand. As they argued, the Queen smirked as she thought now was the perfect time to bring an end to the famous Dijun and the little girl.

Using her magic to summon multiple swords at once, the Queen swung the swords at them. Noticing, Feng Jiu turned her head before moving herself in front of Dijun as a sword hit her in the shoulder. Spitting blood from her mouth, she collapsed to the ground, in front of a wide eyed Dijun.

Dijun used his magic to seal the Queen in the maio chasm, before gathering the Fox Queen in his arms, he walked to the Gate, holding her as he walked through the Gate and there the Heavenly Realm stretched out before him.

After finally arriving to his Taichen Palace, he laid the Fox Queen on his bed, ordering a maid to get a bowl of warm water, cloth and some bandages.

Moving her long black hair out of the way, Dijun moved the sleeve off her right shoulder so he could wipe the blood from her shoulder.

"My Lord" the maid said and he took the bowl from her, setting it on the second stair to the bed, he dipped the cloth into the water before twisting the cloth so the water would come off.

Cleaning her wounds, the water turned red, the maid went to get a new bowl of clean fresh warm water, he laid another cloth on her forehead.

The Maid was tasked with bandaging her wound and changing her clothes, afterwards, Dijun used some of his magic to help her heal while she slept.

As he watched her sleep for the second time, he sat beside her sleeping form, before he then fell asleep himself, his head on his hand.

After a while, Feng Jiu woke from her sleep, she found Dijun sleeping beside her, taking the blanket off her, she moved the blanket over him before walking to the door to his Palace, she slipped out and went back to her own Palace to rest.
