Chapter 38 Further Updates

Seven cards were used in the past months in both Ryan and Jack's realms.

Jack had in the past several months used a card every month to enhance his realm.

Jack had used the following cards in each month.

[2star Walnut Trees-- Walnut Trees(common) grants 100 adult Walnut Trees spawn]

[2star Resource Card-- Tiny Silver Deposit(uncommon) creates a Tiny Silver vein that slowly grows in size]

[2star Resource Card-- Tiny Tin Deposit(uncommon) creates a Tiny Tin vein that slowly grows in size]

[2star Resource Card-- Tiny Coal Deposit(uncommon) creates a Tiny Coal vein that grows in size with death. The more lifeforms that die on this realm the faster this vein grows. ]

[4star Racial Breeding Card--(uncommon) +300% fertility, +300%survivability, lasts 5 years]

With cows for extra food, milk and help with farming.

The walnut trees are another source of food while also being a great source of timber. Another reason he introduced walnut trees was so more plants could become magical. With the first magical animals and plants appearing the tribe gained more magical materials which were either stored for trading, used by the warlocks in rituals or eaten by the dragonoids.

The magical animals were reared by the warlocks so they would constantly reproduce while the magical apple trees were helped by spreading their seeds, and cutting off branches and roots that were killing the trees.

The different deposits of minerals are for the creation of steel while also gaining various materials. Starting them early is also beneficial. Tiny mines take up to ten main world years for them to grow to small size and another hundred to medium tier.

In the last month Jack used the racial breeding card for the dragonoids so they can produce quicker. It worked pretty well as most of the dragonoid females became pregnant with children. After about 20 years they gave birth to the first dragonoid children. with about 600 adult dragonoids their were about 300 children.

Ryan also used cards each month gaining various magical materials in both plants and minerals.

Also introducing more farm like creatures and plants to help expand the population so they would have a stable food supply.

Jack, Ryan and Xiao all gained cards in the trials though Xiao's cards were extremely basic 1star cards. Ryan received mostly 3star cards along with a single 4star. Jack received only 5star cards for expansion since they were the most valuable . Not needing any other card at the moment since he had a class card.

Alongside the further passing down of technique in all realms the general quality of soldiers, blacksmiths, and mages increased since the past generations pasted down their knowledge.

With the lacking amount of minerals mainly weapons were crafted unless the warlocks needed something for a ritual. The armor crafted in the past was broken down to be remade into eight sets for the warlocks. With improved techniques the armor had better defensive qualities alongside looking prestigious.

Also with the increasing number of dragonoids Jack organized them to battle each other in the arena though not to the death blood was still spilled.

With the improved arena that was constantly expanding above ground the underground was expanding at an even faster pace with the blood pool forming a blood spirit with basic intelligence the blood no longer deteriorated after time. Allowing the warlocks to also use the pool to level up the lv3 kobold heroes since they couldn't upgrade in the virtual arena.

Though in order to use the pool the warlocks had to organize a sacrifice of blood in which the entire tribe besides children bled into the pool though not enough to kill them. Once this was done the death battles would be put on hold until everyone recovered.

Also since the blood pool was underground more arenas were built connected to the blood pool. Since with the massive population one arena would take too long to hold the tournaments.

Besides the leveling of the heroes the warlocks also enhanced the regular dragonoids giving them tattoos that granted them skills in their profession. For the agility dragonoids stealth and for the dragonoids enhanced strength. Also granted both types enhanced constitution.

They also performed rituals to unlock abilities for themselves. Mostly destructive spells since they descend from a red dragon but also unlocked lots of knowledge.

With the many lv5 dragonoids including the warlocks Jack's power was unbelievably strong for his level. Though he had heard that the top student that was in his city was ranked by the world itself.

This student had evolved dragons already having legendary creatures. Alongside thousands of dragonoids.

Jack was waited in anticipation with his friends since today was the final exam. After today the classes would be separated into different classes depending on ability.

The three friends felt confident that they would do well though whether Xiao could make it into the elite class was still unconfirmed he had a good chance.

Xiao seeing the faint worry of his fiends knew they were over thinking things.

"Guys I finally used a card so I am confident that it will work out." Xiao said with a smile as if was only natural.

His words shocked his two friends Ryan because Xiao finally used a card and Jack because similarly his friend finally used a card but also that he must have used his ability.

"Boys lets strive to get the top three spots." Xiao said shocking the two of them and getting a few looks from around them as they were waiting for their teacher.

"Jack would get into the top three and I have a good chance since I have a few things prepared for this so you are the one that is unconfirmed." Ryan said with a smirk as he looked at Xiao.

"Well lets just say I also have a few cards up my sleeve." Xiao said matching Ryan's smirk with his own.

"Well guys hope to see you on the podium." Jack said which his friends understood though their was no actual podium.
