Chapter 37 Changes

Jack organized the celebrations after the tournament alongside taking care of the evolving kobolds.

Jack thought about putting the evolving kobolds into the blood pool since it would be beneficial but it would also absorb the life force inside the pool. With it only forming it would be fatal to remove some.

Making preparations and arrangements to create a roof over the arena alongside creating an underground area to store the blood. Jack finished basic preparations for the blood pool as he would have to research further methods of preservation.

After the many years an apple tree forest had appeared so cutting some down wouldn't be a problem.

Creating a blood cellar was also in the works so the blood would remain and not interfere with the battles. The smell in the area would remain intense though the contestants would no longer be swimming in it.

Jack continued watching over his believers for the next few days as they adjusted to the changes of strength. With the many heroes appearing though most with common abilities a few had different abilities.

The new abilities that the hero gained were stealth, leap and incision strike. The first two being new abilities gained with their classes and the incision strike was an evolved ability that one of the kobold warriors gained that would increase their strength when striking massively.

With the tribe getting back to their routine Jack met up with his friends again to have another get together.

Arriving at Xiao's place with snacks and after being let inside the three friends started to talk about their realms and the updates.

Jack explained how his believers just experienced a massive upgrade in power. Taking time to explain and ask for tips in regards to the blood pool which interested both of his friends.

Ryan went after Jack explaining how his magic training had truly come into its own. Though compared to the goblin casters that Jack faced during the trial they weren't as numerous. Gnomes had either amazing talent in magic for their race or were incompetent. They learned every type fast or slow depending on their talent.

This lead to Ryan's believers taking on a new sort of ruling class. The gnomes formed their own clans and prioritized bloodlines. Though they respected the new talents outside of their clans and constantly married between. Ryan repeatedly explained to them that inbreeding has massive consequences.

With the strict discrimination between gnomes the average talent seemed to increase overtime. The nonmagical had to take more mundane jobs though they weren't abused physically they were definitely mentally abused. At the current point about 10% of the population were nonmagical so soon the entire population would be magical.

Xiao started to explain his recent increase in strength to the happiness of his friends. Though his murlocs have been doing the same thing hunting against their competition the fish in the sea along side the coral have been rapidly reproducing. With a majority of his sea filled with life both the lobsters and murlocs have faced massive explosion in population.

This led to Xiao leading more murlocs in battle and having more higher level murlocs. With the strengthened tribe Xiao was able to lead his tribe into suppressing the lobsters to a level where the murlocs could prosper.

Though he hadn't used a card yet his total population was nearing a thousand alongside almost a hundred level one murlocs.

With the increase in strength of everyone's realm the general atmosphere was happy as they played cards, ate food and discussed future plans.

Though there was no major plans as everyone would have steady growth in the coming months.

The friends hung out until everyone was tired and went back to their rooms. Jack went to sleep for the night happy with his progress.

After waking up the next day Jack continued his regular routine for the next several months.

Nothing much happened besides the several trials, the use of multiple cards and the upcoming end of year exam. Though the blood pool had increased several times in strength as it even contained a hint of faith inside.

Overall Jack, Ryan and Xiao's realm had increased multiple times in strength.

Jack had several hundred dragonoids now alongside hundreds of heroes. Since heroes would only appear after the monthly trials and if they provided a lot of experience. Though the regular tournaments had reached a level of having enough experience for heroes it wasn't as numerous in number as the trials of ascension.

The kobolds had increased to several thousand in number. With expanded farms, fishing and domestication of the animals the population was able to increase to a larger number.

More warlocks had also appeared though there were only eight warlocks in total.

Ryan had a massive increase in population as well with his established magic society also entered the several thousands. With many hero mages alongside a level 4 mage his mages were extremely powerful inventing new spells regularly.

The mages were starting to touch more advanced magic such as demonic, angelic, space, time, fate, and other such sensitive subjects.

Every gnome at this point was already magical and their wasn't discrimination between classes though their were regular fights over who was more intelligent.

Also with the advancement of magic he was able to magically enhance various plants to increase yield alongside the creation of magic items.

Xiao's realm had also increased in size though not as much. With the steady increase in lobsters with murlocs the population of murlocs had reached several thousand. With the domestication of lobsters partially succeeding Xiao had also acquired basic mounts for the murlocs.

The lobsters also helped the murlocs hunt underwater further helping them feed their increasing population.

Xiao had remained with his decision of not using his cards and was still able to make his water realm very prosperous. Though not as strong as his friends with the many card slots still available he definitely had great potential since he had his cube.
