Jin Lin a high school kid with a big brother-complex lost his genius, entrepreneur big brother Jin Chen to an explosive accident at an offshore oil drilling platform. Left in a vegetative state, Jin Chen had a low probability of waking up from his coma. All hope was lost that is until a gaming company known as Star Horizon gave him a second chance to live in a virtual game world. Their mother agreed with ease after paying a hefty price her son.
