Chapter - 51

Babylon tower

The war was over, the few remaining Honkai beasts around were purged, the Imperial forces had fully occupied the area, the Adeptus Mechanicus were extracting any data from the collapsed tower, the guardsman and Spartans were keeping the captured valkyries in check. The Apothecaries and Hospitallers were taking care of the wounded while the titan legion secured the area.

The Magos Biologis of the Adeptus Mechanicus were waiting for their transport to take Cecilia to the Eternal Protector. Siegfried was honestly freaked out by the mechanicus and wasn't really happy with letting those people touch his wife but Anastasia reassured him that they will only keep her stable until she will be apple to attend to her herself.

Theresa was standing in front in Anastasia who, especially due to Theresa's small figure, was looking down at her. The two had yet to speak to each other but an overwhelming awkwardness was keeping both from doing so...

The small Valkyrie sighed and looked around herself "So...this is what you've been doing since you left?" she asked

Anastasia nodded "Yes...I've been all around the galaxy gathering all of this and preparing for this day"

"So planetary conquest is the next step?" The Valkyrie asked a bit worried by the thought of such thing

"No" Anastasia replied shaking her head "or at least not now nor in the way you are imagining"

"What are you going to do with the captured Valkyries?" Theresa asked

"They will be asked to join us, if they refuse we'll return them to Schicksal...Cecilia though will not return" Anastasia stated serious "But she already decided to join so it's not a big deal"

"I want to join you!" Theresa suddenly said staring into Anastasia's eyes "And I will not take a 'no' as an answer! You told me to wait! And so I did! Now I don't see any reason to keep doing that!"

Anastasia intensely stared at her silently before nodding "Sure" she casually said surprising the white-haired loli "I already have a mission for you already"

Theresa's eyes lit up "Yes?"

"I want you to infiltrate Schicksal and be eyes and ears inside of it" Anastasia said "I want you to create an army of Valkyries against the Honkai, I saw in Cecilia's mind that she wanted to build a School to train valkyries...Saint Freya Academy, I like the sound of that...an associate of mine will help you with funding it" she explained and as Theresa was about to complain she raised her hand "But, you and I will be in constant contact through our stigmatas, I will not let Otto wipe out your memories or stuff like that and you will be able to talk me on any given time and be able to see me in your sleep"

"But..." Theresa muttered

"We all have a job to do Theresa, there will be the time for us to catch up but only when humanity will be saved" Anastasia smiling "Now, Cecilia died when fighting me, she tried to take me down after my fight with the honkai God but I was still strong enough to kill her, you hate me for it and decided to follow Cecilia's last wish" she said before looking at Siegfried "You will hate Otto because of his crazy order which led to Cecilia's death, you hate me for killing her and so you'll join Anti-Entropy"

"Wait, you already included me?!" Siegfried asked

"Yes, you're Cecilia's husband after all" Anastasia said "You'll be my man in Anti-Entropy"

"Wait...my daughter Kiana is still at HQ" the man replied

"I know" Anastasia replied as Alatan approached the group

"My Empress, the Execution Force has been dispatched..." he said darkly knowing very well what was about to happen

"An execution force?" Theresa asked confused "What does that mean?"

"It means that anyone in the Schicksal HQ will die of a horrible death for the exception of Kiana and someone to tell the tale of what happens when you betray the Imperium" Anastasia said "Fortunately, most personnel is either captured here or retreating to Europe..."

Somewhere in the Tundra

A small child was standing near the ruins of a firey house, he just witnessed his sister being taken away from him but he didn't mind because she would survive at least, he looked around himself and saw that his end was near as a Ganesha Honkai Beast came out of the tree line around the house.

The boy saw his dad's hunting rifle on the ground and picked it up, he knew that it wouldn't do much to the monster which was slowly making its way towards him but he felt like he should at least put up some fight. He was scared of death, but there was nothing he could do and that realization made him accept his fate along with the fact that at least, his sister was safe...

He aimed the rifle and started shooting while the beast got closer and closer. The boy didn't stop until he ran out of munitions but even then he kept pulling the trigger, he closed his eyes as the beast lifted its body to crush him and then...nothing.

The boy reopened his eyes only to witness the tallest men he ever saw clad in red power armor tackling the Honkai Beast by himself before stabbing its head with a large sword which seemed to emit electricity.

After a few seconds, the beast turned into dust and the man retrieved his weapon, he then looked at the boy who was staring at him awe. The man looked at the debris of the house and back to the boy "Are you alone?" he asked getting a nod "Your bravery saved your life, the gunshots led us to you"

As he said that several other armored men came out of the tree line "Chapter Master, the Area is clear" one of them announced

The man nodded and knelt in front of the boy "Come child, there's nothing left here" he said offering his hand to the boy who just nodded before being lifted from the ground by the man.

He threw one last glance at his house as the Chapter Master took him away...
