Chapter - 29

"But I will not need to do that if you can't contact them" The Overseer said with a dark tone "Fu Hua apprehend her"

He said but Fu hua didn't move but instead assumed a fighting position.

"I wasn't expecting that, I'll give you that" Anastasia said as she pulled herself up. Her body was slightly glowing with energy thanks to the Aldnoah charging up the nanomachines in her body.

"And here I hoped that I could solve this without using violence" Otto said

"Oh really?" Anastasia replied smirking "Well, I have no intention to fight today" She said as stepped on the edge of the building "I have places where I need to be"

"I already told you, you can't go anywhere" Otto said as he smiled "Come down and let's talk"

Anastasia chuckled as a mischievous expression appeared on her face "You don't know how wrong you are" she said before jumping off

Both Fu Hua and Otto rushed to see where the former Jäger went but there was no trace left of her.

"She's invisible" Otto concluded as he turned on the communications "To all units, the target is invisible, use any sensor at your disposal to track her down"

Venezuela.

Anastasia appeared with her ship above the Venezuelan coast. She was trying to keep her laughter at bay.

She was imagining the Schicksal troops trying to find her in Berlin but in reality, she literally has changed continent in a matter of seconds.

"Jeez" BB said as her hologram appeared above the commands of the starfighter "Making me rush like that..."

"Sorry BB" Anastasia replied as she calmed down

"Anyway, we are at the coordinates that the Assassins sent us" the AI said with a sigh

Anastasia slowly nodded as she looked outside of the window of the starfighter, a lonely building near the coast towered above the trees.

The Empress started her descent and landed on the beach in front of the orphanage. She got out of her vehicle and walked up to the door of the building.

Back in Germany, it was early in the morning but here it was barely the evening.

She knocked on the door and a woman in a maid dress opened the door "Yes?" she asked in Portuguese.

"The Mentor Ezio Auditore told me that Eleonor wanted to see me" Anastasia replied in English

The maid nodded and stepped aside letting the Primarch enter the building.

The place was quite clean, and the laughter of the children could be heard through the corridors. The walls had several childish drawings on them. Anastasia spot with the corner of her eyes the small group of kids staring at her from the corner of one of the corridors, probably wondering who she was. Anastasia waved at them causing the children to run away

The maid led her to the principal office before knocking on the door "Miss Eleanor, she's here" she said

After a few seconds, the door opened and a woman with long brunette hair, pale skin and blue eyes appeared "Thank you Marie, you can go" she said as the maid bowed her head and walked away "please come in" she then said to the pink-haired woman, who felt a stinging sensation coming from her stigmata.

Anastasia nodded and entered the office, the other woman sat in front of her and smiled "When I asked to meet with you, I never thought that it would have been this soon, your majesty"

The Empress smiled "I happened to swing by" she said calmly

"let's get to the point, shall we?" Eleanor said getting a nod "You want to know where Rapture is"

"Indeed" Anastasia replied nodding "We have reason to believe that the city will be essential for humanity's survival, its position and nature would allow us to have a strategic base in the Atlantic"

Eleanor slowly nodded "Yes, Ezio already told me that but how can I know that you're not another Andrew Ryan?"

"To be honest" Anastasia said with a sigh "Besides what I've been told about, I don't know much about Rapture myself but I know one thing, what happened down there was a tragedy that I'm not willing to repeat, but to my eyes, its existence while seemingly cursed it's also beautiful. Rapture is a testament to what humanity is capable of creating, what happened is the result of total isolation that led to insanity and disorder. I will not, let Rapture be isolated again, I would share it with the world"

"Well...that doesn't sound communist at all" Eleanor joked

Anastasia chuckled "I'm trying to build a new government to replace the Soviet Union, changing things too much would work against me"

Eleanor slowly nodded before placing her hand on a wooden box and opening it revealing a syringe full with some kind of liquid "Every year, I return there to remember who I am and the principles I fight for... you're telling me that you want to make that nightmarish place return to its former glory...but those are words...if I give you the coordinates, I have no guarantee that you will not just turn it into your personal fortress. I believe in your cause Empress, I believe that humanity must be protected from the Honkai and that someone has to take the matter on his hands...but I've seen many people during my life who used pretty words to get what they wanted to and then turned their backs on those who believed them"

"I understand" Anastasia said as she felt the stigmata pulsating "Then why don't you check me yourself?"

"What?" Eleanor asked confused

"Do you know what a Primarch is?"

"Yes, Ezio told me about those" the brunette woman replied nodding

Anastasia nodded "Good, along with my word, I offer you to become a Primarch"

Eleanor was more than shocked, she looked at the syringe on the table and cleared her throat "I'll have to think about it..." she said as she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote something on it before giving it to woman in front of her "These are the coordinates..."

Anastasia nodded and got up "Thank you Eleanor...call Ezio when if you accept my offer" she said before starting to walk out of the room

"Wait..." Eleanor said while sighing "what...comes with becoming a Primarch?"

Anastasia turned around a golden aura was emanating from her "Your body will be changed deeply, maybe it will not show in the outside but you'll feel it. Aside all the superhuman abilities you'll get, you will also carry the burden of all humanity, you'll have to be ready to give up your life in order to achieve our goal, it means contributing to the creation of a better society, it means leading soldiers in battle and making hard decisions. It means...having undying loyalty towards humanity and incredible courage...it means fighting for all that is beautiful"

Eleanor slowly nodded understanding what Anastasia meant, she threw a look at the syringe "...my father taught me a lot of things...he is kind, forgiving and merciful...I always wanted to be like him...I accept your offer, let me help you save humanity"
