Chapter - 25

"Then it's decided" The Empress said "We'll recover the technology as soon as possible and start building the Legions"

"Where is Samus?" Anastasia asked not seeing her other sister around.

Samus was the last Primarch, this time, she was found from the Adeptus Mechanicus. She was in cryosleep inside her gunship with an AI guarding her.

"She went outside to check on something" Najenda said shrugging "She didn't specify what"

Anastasia nodded "BB, tell the assassins that I will meet them in Berlin" Anastasia ordered as she rushed to the hangar of the Eternal Protector

She stopped her tracks when she saw Samus staring at the emptiness of space as her gunship was taken away from the Mechanicus. Unlike her sisters, Samus was not wearing an artificer armor, the power armor she was wearing was a combination of the terminator armor prepared from the emperor and her power suit, Samus seemed to be able to use the power armor to upgrade hers.

"Samus, you came back" Anastasia said calmly before feeling the sadness that was surfacing from Samus' soul

"I didn't want to believe it" Samus said suddenly "When you all found me and turned me into a Primarch, I still didn't believe that humanity was all that was left in the galaxy...I went to the planets I used to know...those usually inhabited by other races...no one was there"

"The Honkai God wants to destroy everything and have the galaxy populated only by Honkai, it failed back in the other universe and so came here" Anastasia replied as Samus clenched her fists

"I will not let that happen again, I'll be dead before seeing that thing destroying everything again" she hissed as Anastasia placed her hand on her shoulder using her aura to calm her sister down

"We are here for that. We, Primarchs, are here to protect our people and make the Honkai disappear once and for all" The Empress said with a calming tone

Samus slowly nodded before noticing Anastasia's lack of armor, which was unusual since she always saw her with it "Your armor?"

"I'm going to Terra to take care of a few things, I'm going incognito" she replied

"I see, stay safe" Samus said while Anastasia gave her a small nod and walked

Anastasia finally arrived at her destination "I need my Eagle!" she shouted as the mechanicus and the guardsman immediately obeyed.

The Empress had commissioned the Mechanicus to create a hybrid between Xiphon Interceptor used by the Space marines and the Sabre Prototype from the UNSC, which projects were provided by Halsey which had gathered all the armament projects or lost ones of the UNSC before going in suspended animation and several other imperial aircrafts and of the lost civilizations.

The result satisfied her greatly, the Mechanicus have kept the Sabre's design, they made it bigger in order to fit the massive amount of armament. This is the first vehicle that had an Aldnoah Engine mounted, so its flight time is theoretically limitless. It also has stealth capabilities thanks to both The UNSC database and Vers'. Thanks to the improvements, and the brand new engine, this fighter was able to enter and leave the atmosphere without the use of a rocket and had VTOL capabilities. Unlike the original projects, this starfighter has only one pilot, due to the extreme maneuvers it can pull off, this starfighter is only suited for Spartans and Adeptus Astartes, which all got their respective variants.

The name given to this aircraft is Lighting Eagle.

Anastasia's Lightning Eagle had a black with red stripes pattern with a few golden imperial insignias on the sides. This color pattern is unique to her since the others are all red and golden and are heavily adorned with golden insignias of the Imperium. She also had another one which was her official one which was covered in gold.

The Lightning Eagle was quickly placed in front at the exit of the hangar as an Adeptus Astartes knelt before Anastasia "My Empress, we are preparing the targets for your practice session"

"No" Anastasia said "I'm going to Terra to meet up with the Assassins and to take care of a few things"

"Then I'll immediately form an escort" the Space Marine replied

"There is no need for that, this mission of mine must not attract any unwanted attention, I'll go solo" She stated "Or are you perhaps doubting me?"

"NEVER!" The Astartes immediately replied

"Good" Anastasia said with a nod "Tell Alatan that I will be back by tomorrow"

"It will be done!"

With that, Anastasia got inside the Lighting Eagle and started turning on all the systems before taking off and leaving the Eternal Protector. The Emperor-Class Battleship got smaller as the Primarch started to enter Earth's space. She knew that an aircraft entering Earth's would be easily detected and labeled as UFO but thanks to the stealth capabilities of the starfighter detection are near impossible.

The Imperium must remain hidden until the recovery of the arsenals outside Earth is completed, this is why the Imperial Fleet has been navigating way outside Earth's radars. She knew that warp travel will set off the alarm of Schicksal since every time an Imperial vessel uses its warp engines it leaves an Honkai Energy signature, which could be tracked.

This is why the Mechanicus are slowly adding slipspace drives and the FTL devices from the IMC and Militia to the imperial ships, the first one is used for long-range FTL travel, it leaves far more discreet energy trace that is way harder to detect and trace while the IMC FTL is used for short-range operations since its range of effectiveness is nowhere near Slipspace and Warp Travel but it's completely undetectable so it's perfect for stealth operations.

"BB inform the Brotherhood of my arrival" Anastasia said

Anastasia put the coordinates of the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park in Germany, the location where she could leave her lighting eagle without any problems and go meet up with the Assassins in Berlin. From there it will take an hour to reach the German capital where Cecilia will be taken to give birth.

Anastasia started the FTL jump procedures and then in the blink of an eye she was flying above the national park, thanks to the aircraft color scheme and the fact it was night the aircraft could fly around unseen. The Primarch lowered the speed of the starfighter and scanned the area for a possible landing spot. After a few minutes, she found what she was looking for and proceeded to land.

Once on the ground, she dismounted the aircraft which then turned invisible. Anastasia's body shifted into her nanosuit armor, of course, she had left her Empress Armor back on the ship. Inside her HUD the map with the route to Berlin appeared. The Primarch's muscles tensed up before she started running in the direction of the German Capital. The energy bar in her HUD didn't even dare to decrease thanks to the Aldnoah in her genes.

The Primarch was literally a blur, she was keeping her speed in check since she didn't want to leave sonic booms behind her. It didn't take too much time for her to reach the city, once she was near enough she engaged the cloaking mode of the Nanosuit and decreased her speed.

Her body shapeshifted into a more suitable appearance, she knew that she was wanted by Schicksal after all. Her blonde hair turned pitch black, and her eyes blood red, her cheekbones, jaw, height, and clothes also changed in order to elude face identification.

She removed the cloaking and mixed with the crowd. To everyone, she was just a normal woman. She reached the coordinates she gave the assassins, the place was one of their safe houses, in this case, a theatre.

She got inside and walked up to the cashier, who gave her a bright smile "Yes? Which Movie do you want to see?"

"Something about the Animus" Anastasia replied as the cashier smiled and nodded before pushing a button under the counter.

"We have a wardrobe here, why don't leave your coat there?" she replied as Anastasia nodded and walked to the said wardrobe.

She found and a hooded man waiting for her, he gestured with his head a passage next to him and without saying a word let Anastasia go through.

The Primarch found herself inside an elevator which started going down as soon as she entered. After a minute or two, the door opened and Anastasia found herself in front of a secret base, there were armed guards, and people working like ants in front of monitors.

A woman in a business suit approached her "Your Majesty?" she asked as Anastasia turned her gaze towards her, her voice was loud enough to reach the ears of the other people inside the base, who started throwing looks at Anastasia before quickly turned their gazes away by instinct.

The Empress nodded "Yes" she said as she shapeshifted back to her normal appearance

The woman looked at her in awe before recomposing herself "My name is Natalia, the mentors are still on their way and they gave me the task of serving you until they arrive"

"Is that so?" The Empress replied getting a nod "Is there a place where I can wait for them?"

"Of course!" Natalia replied with a nod "We didn't have much time but we prepared a room for you...it will take a two or three hours for the mentors to show up, I hope that it doesn't bother you"

Cecilia will arrive at the hospital in the next 5 hours, Anastasia had plenty of time and so she shook her head "No, It doesn't bother me" she said as Natalia started to lead her through the base "So what do you do here?"
