Chapter - 24

"To Terra" Anastasia replied with a serious tone

"We are already moving? I thought we had to recover YoRHa first and find Rapture's location" Akame, the fourth Primarch asked.

Unlike Leone, Akame wasn't the leader of an army but quite the opposite, she went alone on a desolate planet in order to control the curse within herself. When Anastasia found her she was surprised by the red markings all over her body and just like with Leone, the Empress' stigmata reacted to Akame's presence.

Akame had no hesitation when she accepted to become a Primarch except for one thing, she wanted to use her sword, the cursed sword Murasame able to kill anyone with one cut if given the opportunity. Akame's power armor was pitch black with scarlet outlines, her insignia was some sort of bird that once was the insignia of the Night Raid, the group of assassins that helped the revolution to rise up against the corrupted Empire of Krieg. Her sword has been adapted to her new size by Anastasia's herself and a new one was given her by the Emperor.

"It's for personal reasons" Anastasia replied

"Ooooh it's the beginning of the Horus Heresy all over again" Najenda, the fifth Primarch, said with a smirk.

Najenda was the leader that Anastasia had found on the death world Catachan. Her power armor was dark green with black outlines, unlike the other Primarchs Najenda was more focused on long-range weaponry, she did have a thunder hammer called Bone Demolisher but she also had a plasma cannon incorporated in her armor.

"You're not funny" Apollyon replied shaking her head

Apollyon was the sixth Primarch discovered by Anastasia, she was on a feudal world which was on an endless war with its people. She was similar to Esdeath in many ways, she believed in the survival of the fittest. Since she was told about the first Primarch she has been selecting the strongest among the people of her planet and while Anastasia wasn't exactly happy about this selection, she had to recognize that the knights that were following the warlord were the most disciplined on that planet and most of them were turned into Space Marines without too many problems.

Her armor was ash black with orange outlines but unlike her other sisters, the type of her armor was similar to an Aegis Pattern Tactical Dreadnought Armour. She wielded a massive two-handed power sword called Warden's Wrath.

"While I'm at it, I'll meet up with the Brotherhood and Hellsing" Anastasia said as Najenda looked at the hologram of Earth

"You'll tell them about our plans?" she asked as she threw a glance at the Empress

"Indeed, we need someone to bring the population by our side when the time comes, fortunately, the Soviet Union's about to fall apart, The Imperium will take its place"

"And South America's" Apollyon said as she looked at the American continent "We need to keep an eye on Anti-Entropy"

"Why not Africa?" Leone asked as she crossed her arms

"Because we must avoid any needless war, we'll conquer only the essential areas" Anastasia replied "Every human life is important to us this is why I want to avoid conquering by slaughter. We'll make them wish to be part of us and when the time will come they'll ask us to join, trust me"

"Not that they would be able to put up a big fight anyway" Esdeath said shrugging as Apollyon nodded in agreement

"Though the conquest of Japan is inevitable" Tatsumi said as he pointed at the nation "We can't occupy Neo Tokyo 3 without conquering it"

"I'll ask the Brotherhood...what news do we have from them and the Inquisition" Anastasia asked to Tatsumi.

The Inquisition was a relatively new creation in Anastasia's Imperium, they are guided by a former member of Night Raid whose identity is kept hidden for the time being. These Inquisitors were secretly hidden within the armies of Esdeath, Najenda, and Leone. They were created by Akame, Najenda, their leader and Tatsumi before each of them departed towards the planets they have been found on.

These people saw the Empress as their goddess, they took upon themselves the task of keeping an eye out for any traitor of the first Primarch or any corrupt person who tried to create its own empire. Anastasia felt great sadness when she discovered their existence, they thought of their work as extremely honorable and both of Esdeath and Apollyon agreed that their existence will be necessary for the future of the Imperium to make sure that no Imperial Official becomes corrupted.

The Emperor wasn't exactly happy for the fact they also existed in Anastasia's universe but Kitten wanted to argue in their favor to say that they actually did saved the imperium a few times but they quickly got massively totalitarians and were given way too much power and the fact that they didn't have a real hierarchy or leadership made every inquisitor act based on his own judgment. Anastasia was relieved that the Inquisition she had established leadership and she decided that she and her sisters will be the ones to check on them.

"The Yäger project got completely shut down, the people knowing about it no longer live except for Otto" Tatsumi said "The overseer has way too many bodies to kill"

Anastasia sighed "Any other news?"

"The Adeptus Mechanicus will soon complete the complete construction of a few forge worlds and all the technology has been recorded into the Moon Cell so that it will never be lost like in the other universe" Najenda said

"Why can't we send the projects back to pops? They kinda lost all of that tech..." Leone asked

"Because something like that would attract the attention of the Chaos Gods and the last thing we want is another immaterium coming to kill us" Akame muttered

"We have the factories, what we lack are the legions" Apollyon said

"Creating a legion is no easy task" Anastasia said sighing "And we don't have that many humans to sacrifice in the attempts to make a space marine, the mortality rate of the operations is extremely high and not everyone can be one"

"My soldiers would gladly do it" Esdeath commented as she crossed her arms

"Also, the younger they are the better" Apollyon added as she placed her hands on the strategic table "The children of your Death Worlds are born as soldiers, we can use some of them to make the legions"

"The Imperial Guardsman as just as needed as the Adeptus Astartes" Najenda quickly shot back with a glare "Do I have to remind you that in the other universe they have held the line for ten thousand years?"

"The mortality rate of the operation is still too high and while we equip the guardsmen with the best weaponry we could give them, they are far from immortal, they'll need new recruits" Tatsumi intervened.

"I already asked Halsey and the Mechanicus if there was a way to change the gene-seed or improve it, both of them said that was either impossible or would take millennia for it to be available" Anastasia replied shaking her head

"Then how about clones?" Akame asked

"Attempting to clone a Space Marine never led to anything other than abominations" The Empress replied "Also you would get copies of my Crimson Slayers, they would not have your original gene-seed"

"Why don't we use our current gene-seed? Wasn't it like almost totally safe?" Leone asked scratching her head

"We would need to have someone to give birth to them or a machine" Najenda replied "Also, the Adepta Sororitas while being superior to a normal human being, can't be compared with an Adeptus Astartes"

The Adepta Sororitas were the newest order within the Imperium, they were formed when the Crimson Slayers raided Schicksal's bases, they had retrieved around one thousand of Diclonius, Anastasia removed their natural instincts to kill humans but as she had previously discovered making them totally peaceful was not an option, this is why she had redirected those Instincts towards the Honkai. Anastasia promised herself that once she'll be strong enough, she would remove those instincts for good.

The Empress took inspiration from the Adepta Sororitas of the other universe when it came to organization and ranks but she did not make them a religious order. She also took inspiration for their armor although it had some improvements when it came to the enhancing capabilities. The new Sister of Battle were not normal humans since they are the result of the application of the altered gene-seed of their Primarchs but they possess the same enhancements of normal Space Marines like multiple hearts and so on, the only difference between was that those enhancements operate on a smaller scale making the Sororitas weaker than a normal Astartes but way stronger than the average guardsman.

The Emperor didn't hide the fact that he preferred his Space Marines to be all males

The sisters of battle also receive part of the powers of their Primarch. As an example, the Adepta Sororitas of Anastasia have vectors while Esdeath's can control ice to some degree.

Unlike the Astartes, the Sisters of Battle were like this since birth. Each Primarch could infect a normal human woman with their blood or, in Anastasia's case, with her vectors. Once the woman gets pregnant, she will give birth to a Sororitas in four and a half months. Many female guardsmen volunteered to give birth to Sororitas and this led the creation of mixed regiments where all women were infected with the Primarch blood and are allowed to have sexual relationships.

Since the Imperial Army is divided between the Primarchs, there are two of these kinds of regiments per Primarch assuring the creation of Sisters of Battle.

"Can't we make them?" Leone replied

"Sure but can you do it enough times to build an army?" Najenda said as she sighed.

"Tatsumi..." Esdeath said with s giant grin on her lips

The man became pale "I've to go!" he said as he quickly walked out of the room

"One day you'll give him a heart attack" Leone commented with a chuckle

"May I suggest something?" Suddenly BB intervened as her hologram popped out on the table "this problem was already solved by the Empress, any of you went through the injection nanomachines in your bodies which kept you from dying during the Primarch transformation. You can just use those on the people compatible with being turned into a Space Marine, of course, you would put back the safeties of the nanomachines so that the subjects will not fall apart. You would become the hive minds of the nanomachines of your legion, you would be able to give order just by thinking about it and the Astartes wouldn't need radios to communicate with each other and will be capable, to some degree, of computer level calculations. And even if some of you would be killed, the Astartes will be able to keep on fighting" BB explained "You could call them Omni Marine or Astartes Mechanicus or something like that...it would also give them the possibility to connect themselves with the future AIs fighting for us"

The Primarchs remained silent for a few moments before Anastasia broke the silence "Do we have the projects of the nanosuits?"

"We can recover it" BB replied

The Primarchs looked at each other before all nodding "Yes that sounds like a valid option" Esdeath said nodding
