Entertainment System

Masashi was an average ninja at the Chunin rank in this peaceful era of Naruto. No family nor friends to call his own. At midnight, the day of his 16th birthday, his life is changed in a rather unexpected way. Memories of his past life and a system that would make him unrivale- [Entertainment System] ... ... ... ‘...Was I sent the wrong system? How does the return policy work?’ This was a system where one has the ability to recreate multiple works of fiction to bring into the Naruto world. Manga, anime, games, movies, and more could be brought into this world. Masashi decides that, while he may never be a truly powerful ninja, he will become the greatest in the entertainment industry. One act of plagiarism after another. Even if there aren't any people in this world that can call him out on it. ========== I own nothing of these characters and series besides the MC, Masashi. This story takes place in the Boruto Era. This story is inspired by, "Creating Manga Of One Piece In Pirates World Become My Ultimate Goal!" Chapters will be around 2k words long.

Creating Volume 2: Demon Slayer

"I tried speaking to him in his head but I couldn't feel a connection." Ino just ripped the band-aid off and just said it.

Her friends all looked at her with surprise.

"Why would you do that in the first place?" Temari asked since that seemed a bit strange to do in the first place.

"I would've liked to see his reaction, plus I really liked the manga he made." Ino shrugged her shoulders with no concern.

Sakura, knowing her best, just smiled while shaking her head. Her friend really liked messing with people like that.

"Could it be due to his bloodline? It was a bit strange, but it would at least explain how he could make the manga. As for your technique, I'm not sure. It could be another aspect of the bloodline." Shikamaru theorized.

"Yeah, a computer being a bloodline is very odd." Temari couldn't make sense of it.

"Naruto-kun, why were you questioning Masashi like that?" Hinata could no longer hold back her curiosity. Everyone in the room was also interested in knowing as well.

Naruto sighed.

"Kurama felt strange chakra from Masashi and that it sort of felt like a Jinchuuriki but also not. That computer bloodline is definitely what he felt. It seemed instead of a Biju, that…colorful computer is inside him instead. I just didn't know what his intentions were so I probed him a bit." Naruto laughed seeming that his suspicions were unwarranted.

They nodded at his words.

"What do you think of the bloodline, Naruto?" Shikamaru felt that there was more to it, especially after what Ino said.

"Kurama thinks it's some kind of specialized use of Yin-Yang Release. It makes sense, but I'm not sure about what Ino felt. Could it be a similar immunity like Perfect Jinchuuriki?" He explained and also offered some kind of explanation.

The use of Yin-Yang Release surprised them since very few people could use it.

Ino shook her head though.

"I still would've been able to feel a connection before it was cut off if I used it on a Perfect Jinchuuriki. I didn't feel one at all with Masashi." Ino sighed not knowing what to make of the situation.

"Wouldn't that mean he would also be immune to genjutsu?" Sakura asked and everyone nodded at that.

"Most likely. I'm not sure how that ties in with his bloodline, but he also awakened it not long ago, so he probably doesn't know about it." Naruto made the conclusion that Masashi was just unaware and left it at that.

"All of this stress because of a manga." Shikamaru sighed grateful that it was over.

"What even is manga?" Sakura asked before Naruto explained.

After his explanation, the parents who didn't already read Demon Slayer, became a little interested. Their kids literally lied to just get their hands on it.

'Perhaps it could be a bit interesting?' They thought.

Naruto called an end to the meeting and only Shikamaru remained.

He tried out Masashi's method but stayed just in case something went wrong.

Shikamaru felt jealous considering Naruto is going to likely be at home, but he soon gets an idea.

'If I make a shadow clone for a few hours, come in person, stay a few hours then make another shadow clone…' Shikamaru's thoughts drifted to how he could also get out of working so long. He can't use shadow clones like Naruto but if he were to create and dispel them like this, it could work.

He smiled.

'Maybe I could also read a bit of that manga too. Masashi should be at the Open Market tomorrow, right? I'll send a shadow clone to work and head over.'

'Finally, that's over with.' Masashi didn't want to reveal anything but he also didn't want to be suspected of anything, so he only showed a small part of his system.

Now that everything is behind him, he can finally focus on making it big.

'But first! Lunch!' Masashi headed down to Lightning Burger.

Once there, he ordered a regular burger and fries with a drink.

Sitting down, he ate his lunch.

It was pretty damn good. His previous life loved burgers and especially pizza, but it didn't exist here. That was a crime against humanity.

He felt tempted to just pull out his computer to work as well, but he wasn't stupid.

While he may have shown the Hokage and his friends, that didn't mean he would be careless. Naruto and the OG cast wouldn't just blab about it. The Cosmic Computer isn't exactly subtle in its design. He knew laptops existed because of Denki but he knew that it would just be better to stay a bit low-key.

After he's finished, he heads out, since he packed everything away, Masashi didn't feel the need to go back. It was an extremely successful day. He wanted to go home and drink a bit.

He, however, ran into some people. The kids…again.

'What is up today? Am I…a main character?' Masashi grins to himself. It should've been obvious considering he had a system, but it hadn't truly settled in yet. He only had it for like a day. He also kept running into people he recognized.

"Masashi-onii-san!" Boruto called out to him.

The person in question was bewildered at such a development, but considering what he did in the Hokage's office, maybe it wasn't so surprising.

His friends however gave him some weird glances.

"Yo, Boruto. Did you get any good cutouts?" He asked because he truly didn't know. While his trait enabled him to remember literally everything, he placed cutouts in the volumes and into a sealing scroll. Once he unseals the books, they all appear at once, he really had no idea.

"OH!" He pulled out one of the volumes and started flipping through the pages.

"Did you really buy another volume for cutout characters, Boruto?!" Sarada couldn't believe her eyes. She thought it was bad enough he was addicted to the trading cards, but now this?

She truly didn't understand the mind of a gacha enthusiast.

"He bought two." Shikadai not so helpfully pointed out and everyone deadpanned at Boruto.

He was too busy flipping to notice.

Once he found it, he pulled it out.

It was just a common Takeo.

"Damn!" He immediately put the book back and pulled out another one.

After some more flipping, he found the next one.

Volume 1: Silver Shiny Sabito.

"Woo! Look at that!" Boruto didn't mind it was not as good as his first one, but he was glad it wasn't a common, plus he thought Sabito was cool.

"Mine is still better," Shikadai smirked and Boruto gritted his teeth and then realized something he forgot.

"Hey, Masashi-onii-san! Do you have more of those colored manga?" Boruto asked and drew the confusion from the others apart from Shikadai.

"Colored? Isn't it just in black and white?" Chocho asked.

"Nah, my old man had one in color!" Boruto explained and they all looked at Masashi.

He sighed.

"That was the only one I made, today, plus they take longer. They would cost about 1500ryo if I were to make and sell them." Masashi informed them but they didn't mind it. Most comics cost that much anyway and didn't have the same quality that Demon Slayer had.

"Could you make them for tomorrow then, please?!" Boruto put his hands together hoping he would say yes. While the others didn't go so far as pleading, they also had that look in their eyes.

Masashi had no reason to deny income.

"Fine, but I'll only make 12 of them. I still need to make the second volume." Masashi relented but Boruto pushed.

"Could the second volume be colored too?!" Boruto looked excited.

"Alright alright, I'll make some for the second volume too, but I can probably only do 10." If Masashi could, he would make more, but he had to be realistic.

He didn't have the chakra reserves to pump out so many volumes. The colored ones also counted as two black and white ones.

Masashi didn't want to charge double since he was still very small and didn't have the following of the larger comic books.

"Thanks, Masashi-onii-san!" Boruto whooped in excitement.

The others also looked excited wanting to get one tomorrow.

Shikadai turned to his friends.

"Did you guys finish the manga?" He asked.

"I already did, so I'm waiting for the next one," Inojin stated but that was rather obvious since he got his earlier.

Metal Lee, Chocho, and Sarada shook their heads.

"No, but I got this." Sarada pulled out a cutout of a Silver Makomo.

"Oh Wow! A Silver Sabito and Makomo!" Boruto laughs while Sarada blushes.

"As if that means anything, idiot!" Sarada snaps back.

Boruto just looks confused.

Masashi smiled and shook his head. Like father like son.

"I also got this!" Metal Lee showed them a Common Tanjiro.

They all deadpanned at his cutout thinking that it was going to be cool.

"What?" He got shy about being looked at like that.

"Leave this vicinity," Boruto said in a monotone voice.

Sarada just smacks him on the back of the head.

"Don't be mean!" Sarada scolds him.

Chocho didn't get hers yet but it was pretty lucky they got theirs in the first half of the volume.

"Well, I'll be heading back home now. See ya!" Masashi waves goodbye and walks away.

They all waved back.

"I'll be at the stand tomorrow! I'll be first!" Boruto shouts.

"Stop yelling! He can hear you just fine!" Sarada yelled back causing others to look over.

Masashi stepped inside took off his shoes and set down his keys.

It was a long day. He went to the fridge to get the already-opened bottle and sat down in front of the TV. He turned it on and saw that it was playing some kind of shinobi action show.

He took a drink and summoned his computer.

Having already made 32 volumes today, he could make another 28 but since Masashi had time in between creating them, he could make a couple more from his chakra recovering.

Masashi also checked his current balance.

EC: 6.2

He smiled. It won't be much longer now. Who could have thought he'd grown so much? He'd have enough before the week was up.

It's time to start making the second volume.

The volume had the same number of pages as the first one but the cover is naturally different.

Tanjiro and Muzan are shown on the cover.

This was the volume where the readers will be introduced to the Demon King. Masashi knows that this will grasp at their hearts. If they weren't already hooked, then they definitely will be from this volume.

They could only wonder about his power and strength compared to the demons they already saw.

Masashi continued creating and finally ended up with 10 colored volumes and 10 black and white volumes. This naturally isn't enough but there's little he can do about his chakra reserves as he has exhausted almost everything.

He will need to wait until tomorrow.

Masashi got to thinking and using his computer tried to imagine sending an email and to his surprise, he could.

The screen showed a generic email page with it being completely blank. He takes out Boruto's email and informs him that he'll open up shop around 9 am because he needs to stock up on his manga. He simply didn't have enough second volumes.

He currently had 27 volumes left from his first day. Masashi felt pretty proud of himself. If he didn't create more volumes in between the sales, then he would have ran out.

It was an incredible accomplishment for his first day.

Masashi knew that he would need more space for his work as his storage scrolls wouldn't be big enough for more volumes.

He decided to buy larger storage scrolls as his was the smallest variety considering they could fit in the slots on his vest. They were made like that for mission scrolls so it didn't need a lot of space.

However, that would no longer be suitable for his needs.

Masashi also felt something was off as he stood up. He felt wobbly and his limbs wouldn't obey him like they usually do.

Looking at the table, he realized that there were a couple of bottles open as he would periodically get up for more.

He realized that he was supposed to be feeling it more than the buzz he had going on now but he wasn't.

Masashi's eyes widen and realizes a trait he had

[Impenetrable Mind]

Absolute defense against all attacks and effects targeting the mind.

Does alcohol count as an attack? He shook his head in amusement.

He felt a buzz at least and it seemed impossible to get drunk now.

Masashi put the empty bottles in the trash and headed out to buy some sealing scrolls and perhaps even a satchel to carry them.

Training after that will be good.

He closed the door behind him.
