Chapter 1

August 31, 2014, Jiangzhou City, 

Day of registration for the students of Elite High School. 

'Did I die? Did I transmigrate again? ' 

While staring at the campus named "Elite High School,"

'I knew this school' 

Boom...

The brain is suddenly flooded with memories. His name is still Ye Bai, and he knows that he is in the world of 'Growing Pains.' Why does he know it? Because the leading character of this show is his childhood friend Zhao Jinmai, he remembers the time when he visited the crew with his secret girlfriend, Zhang Zifeng, and this is the venue of the film.

Because Zifeng is well-known and called "National Sister" and has many fans, they try to date secretly, but only their friend Jinmai knows it because she's the one who introduced them.  They met when they shot the film "Go! Brother," starring Zhang Zifeng, Peng Yuchang, and Zhao Jinmai.

As an actor and a film student, he also auditioned for one of the friends of the male lead, and he passed it, especially because Jinmai and Zifeng helped him. While shooting, they develop their friendship until they become a couple, and as their best friend, Jinmai supports them.

But their happy moments stop when their relationship is exposed. Because Zhang Zifeng had many fans and supporters, they didn't accept Ye Bai, a not-so-known actor, as her boyfriend. Many haters bash Ye Bai on his Weibo and make scandalous remarks like he is just using Zhang Zifeng to make a name in the industry. Or if you want a boyfriend, she should pick a more outstanding male like Wu Lei. 

Because of the exposed relationship, some Zifeng extreme fans did something and tried to harm the couple. While going to celebrate Zhao Jinmai's passing in drama school, a car tried to hit the trio. He pushed the two girls out of the road, and then here he is right now.

"Ye Bai, what happened? Are you alright?" A concerned voice came from behind and brushed his back. He wiped away the tears in his eyes. He looked behind him to answer the girl.

She wears a beige dress and her cute little pigtail. "Maimai!—I mean MiaoMiao, I'm alright, I guess I am a little bit hungry." He smiled.

This was his childhood friend of two lives, Zhao Jinmai but here she is Lin Miaomiao.

Lin Miaomiao tapped his stomach and said, "Me too. Look, look, look, so many people right now. I just feel tired and hungry just looking at them," while pointing to the parents and students going inside the campus.

"By the way, where are uncle and aunt? Did they come with you?" While trying to look for familiar faces with Ye Bai.

"No, they are in the States right now doing business, and I told them that I can handle it by myself." Lin Miaomiao looks at him with envy.

Wang Shengnan's voice comes from behind. "What are you kids waiting for? Go inside! Go inside! Lin Dawei helps some parents lift some bags." 

They looked behind Wang Shengnan and saw a beautiful girl in a blue dress. 'That's Deng Xiaoqi; I guess this is where they first met and became roommates and future best friends.'

"Elite High School is the best high school in Jiangzhou City. The teaching environment is different. The dormitory is also very good and spacious. It is much better now than when I was there." Lin Dawei observed the school environment and said to Lin Miaomiao.

"That's right, there are so many people who can't get in even if they squeeze their heads. Even if you have money, you may not be able to get in. Tang Yuanming was a big help this time." Wang Shengnan behind him seemed to be in a particularly good mood, as if he thought Miaomiao's academic performance would improve when she came to this school.

They started to enter the campus and went directly to the girl's dorm. "I'll help you with that, Uncle." Ye Bai took the other suitcase to Lin Dawei. "Thank you, Ye Bai. Take this and go in first with Miaomiao." 

Room 210

The girl in blue's mother shouted at her. "Xiaoqi, hurry up; this is room 210."

"Here, this is my dorm room," Lin Miaomiao said while waving to their parents. 

"Is your room 210 too? My name is Lin Miaomiao," and she snatched the hand of the girl excitedly.

"Deng Xiaoqi," And they both get inside the room. There are already people inside the room, and they introduce each other. 

Ye Bai put the suitcase beside Lin Miaomiao's bed and looked around.

Every room has four students living; the other roommates are Wei Xindi and Liang Yunshu. They are best friends from their last school. 

"Is he your brother?" Deng Xiaoqi looked at Lin Miaomiao and then at Ye Bai.

"Oh no, we're neighbors; by the way, my name is Ye Bai." Then he extended his hand for a handshake. "Deng Xiaoqi" she accepts his hand. 

After they cleaned the female dorm and put up some mosquito nets, Ye Bai said goodbye to Lin Miaomiao's parents. "Let's go clean up your dorm, Ye Bai," Lin Dawei suggested. "It's alright, uncle. The male dorm is much simpler, and we don't put mosquito nets in our beds." 

"I want to see the male dorm too. Let's go!" Lin Miaomiao urged. "What's there to see? It's just like your dorm." 

Lin Miaomiao pushed him. "Just go. Hurry up. I want to see."

Deng Xiaoqi and her mother looked at each other. 

This kid is so lively.
