Male Dorm

"Hello, my name is Jiang Tianhao. Are you also my roommate?" Jiang Tianhao said when the door opened. 

"Yes, hello, I'm Ye Bai," he said as he walked inside the room.

Lin Miaomiao also came inside and looked around and felt a little disappointed and said, "The male dorm is so plain than the female dorm."

Ye Bai: "The male dorm is stricter than the female, especially since males started their military training in the school." 

Jiang Tianhao glanced at Lin Miaomiao as she walked around the room. "Your sister?"

"No, she used to be my neighbor, but now she's my classmate."

"Really, which class are you in?" Jiang Tianhao asked curiously. 

"We're both in class one," Lin Miaomiao answered. 

"What a coincidence! I'm also in class one; we will see each other often then. By the way, I'm Jiang Tianhao."

The moment Wang Shengnan and Lin Dawei stepped into the male dorm, Wang Shengnan couldn't help but sigh: "This male dorm is completely different from the female dorm." 

The male dorm is plain sapphire blue, and there's no mosquito net on the beds. Not like the girl's dorm with its pink color and homey-looking room. 

Together with Ye Bai, they started cleaning the room. The two boys, Jiang Tianhao and a chubby kid, Sun Chuanchu, didn't laze around but started to help. 

"That was fast; cleaning boys' dorms is easier because there isn't much to tidy up; no wonder Ye Bai said he doesn't need help," Lin Dawei said.

"Hey, Tianhao, did you pay your tuition?" Ye Bai asked.

"Done! I'm originally from Elite Elementary School, so it's automatically paid." 

"How about you?" Ye Bai looked at Sun Chuanchu.

"I'm done paying my tuition. It's in the Finance Room on the 1st floor. Remember the first building when you enter the campus? You will know it because there is a line of parents paying there." Sun Chuanchu answered.

"Thank you; we were going to pay our tuition first."

Finance Office

The portable printer made a beeping sound and slowly printed the receipt. 

"Wah! Why is it so expensive?" Lin Miaomiao expressed her shock.

25,000 yuan per semester, not including the accommodation fees.

"What are you still dreaming?" Wang Shengnan said while signing.

"The best high school is naturally not cheap, but I heard there are some students who get in for free?" Lin Dawei asked the cashier.

"Is it a teacher relative?" Wang Shengnan's gossipy question.

"The top scorer of this year's entrance examination will not be required to pay tuition, but on the other hand, rewarded the student with 500,000 yuan just to grab the student from another school." the cashier explained.

"If someone can get free tuition because of their grade, I will be happy," Wang Shengnan said while looking at Lin Miaomiao, but Lin Miaomiao didn't mind her mother's point and started questioning Ye Bai.

"How about you, Ye Bai? Are you done with the payment?" 

"Done, I'm done swiping my tuition" gives a thumbs up.

Lin Miaomiao: "Did you hear that? The top scorer gets 500,000; how many drumsticks and snacks do you buy with that money?"

"Haha, only food is in your head." Ye Bai smiled helplessly.

"What! Wait a minute, you are also good at studying. What is your rank?"

"I'm second rank too bad; I'm not as smart as the top scorer, but I will study hard so that I can surpass the top scorer." 

Lin Miaomiao looked at him like an alien.

'We just haven't seen each other for a while, and you are already a study maniac'

Ye Bai detects the disgusting glance of Lin Miaomiao.

"Hey, don't look at me like that; I just want to get a good result in my college entrance exam." While poking Lin Miaomiao's cheeks. 

He usually does this to Zhao Jinmai when they are bickering, or he gives her some lessons or guidance. But now he realizes she is not Jinmai, but Lin Miaomiao.

Lin Miaomiao holds his finger and tries to break it slightly while smiling.

"Oh, you poke my face like that, huh? Did you know who I am? I'm your big brother, Miaomiao." 

"Ouch, Miaomiao, Miaomiao, let go, let go." Ye Bai acted like it hurt.

Wang Shengnan sees what her daughter is doing, and she gives her a knock on the head. "What are you doing, hurting Ye Bai here in the school? You don't act like a girl. What if others misunderstand you for bullying?" 

Lin Miaomiao touched his head, and his mother knocked it. She also sees Ye Bai snickering.

"Why did you knock my head? You know that I'm stupid. What will happen, If I become stupider? " looking aggrieved

Ye Bai felt bad and touched Lin Miaomiao's head. "Yes, Auntie, we're just kidding around."

Wang Shengnan also feels guilty about what she does. "Don't hurt anyone again," and she touches where she knocks on her daughter.

Lin Miaomiao felt the sincerity of the two, so she forgot about it. She held Ye Bai's shoulder and said, "I will feel more of your sincerity if you buy me a snack and buy me chicken later." 

Ye Bai smiled, "Deal!" 

'It's just a snack, and he was not short on money' 

"Be patient with Miaomiao, Ye Bai; I feel more at ease when she's with you. And help her with her studies," Wang Shengnan said.

Ye Bai smiled and nodded awkwardly. 'Why does it sound like you're giving away your daughter to me?'

Lin Dawei also felt not so good when his wife said, 'That's my precious daughter.' 

Lin Dawei: "Remember Deng Xiaoqi. Try too close to her; it's a girl, and you will feel more at ease because she is also your roommate."

Wang Shengnan also realizes her wording: "Yes, Deng Xiaoqi and your roommates. Remember to be friendly to others."

"Okay, I will do that. I like Deng Xiaoqi too; she is so beautiful." Lin Miaomiao agreed.

"Uncle, Auntie, if there's nothing to do, Lin Miaomiao and I will go back to the dorm first. We want to know our roommates a little bit and prepare for the first day of class tomorrow," Ye Bai said tactfully and nudged Lin Miaomiao. "Yes, yes, I want to know Deng Xiaoqi more too, and my other roommates—just now I saw their names—we are also classmates."

After giving instructions to Lin Miaomiao, Wang Shengnan looked at Ye Bai and said, "Ye Bai, you are a classmate with Miaomiao if she ever did something unusual-" Before Wang Shengnan finished speaking, Ye Bai made an 'OK' gesture.
