Chapter 18

Lin Miaomiao was taken by her parents to take a rest at home. She was bored while lying on the bed. She realized that all of her friends didn't have a phone, and now she didn't have anyone to talk to. Her rest also became torture for her because Wang Shengnan started nagging at her.

A while ago.

Wang Hongying takes her to their dormitory room. She got some medicine kits for Miaomiao when Deng Xiaoqi came to the door.

Deng Xiaoqi hurriedly sat on the bed and checked on Miaomiao. 

Miaomiao: "Xiaoqi, it hurts. I feel like I'm going to die."

Deng Xiaoqi holds her hands: "Don't scare me, Miaomiao."

"You are my best friend, Xiaoqi. I will leave you all my snacks. I'll leave Lin Haohao to you. When you see it, remember me. It is worth our sisterhood," Miaomiao weakly said.

Wang Hongying came with honey water and hot compressed. "Here, Miaomiao, drink this. Also, put this on your stomach. Xiaoqi, hold it for Miaomiao."

Xiaoqi held the hot compress to Miaomiao's tummy. "Miaomiao, what is the password to the lock on your diary?" 

Miaomiao's weak face suddenly changed. "Do you really want me to die?"

"I know you were bluffing," Xiaoqi whispered. 

Wang Hongying checked Miaomiao's condition and asked. "How is it feeling better?" 

Miaomiao nodded. "Better."

Wang Honying: "It's good that you are getting better; you can catch up to self-studying in the evening."

When Miaomiao heard this, she started moaning again and said it hurt again.

Wang Hongying didn't know what to do; she could only call Miaomiao's parents to recuperate in their home. "I'll call your parents; Xiaoqi, take care, Miaomiao."

Deng Xiaoqi looks at the door. "Okay, she's gone." She moves a little closer to Miaomiao. "What happened between you and Ye Bai?"

Miaomiao blushed when Xiaoqi asked about Ye Bai. She remembers his strong back and his manly smell. She shook her head to erase the thought of Ye Bai. "He just helped me; we are childhood friends."

Deng Xiaoqi stared at her and didn't ask another question. 'What about the indirect kiss this morning? 'She kept it inside her.

"If I thought that my rest would be boring, I should stay in school even if I hate studying," she scratched her head in annoyance.

She opened her phone and looked at the photo in the gallery. It's a photo of Ye Bai and her on the bus when they were traveling to the cinema. She had a beautiful dream that night.

Early in the morning, the voice of Wang Shengnan is the thing you will hear in Lin Family House. 

"Your body is your own; you should cherish it. If you don't take care of it, you will lose a lot of money. Dysmenorrhea is not a good thing. Avoid cold food, especially when your period is near." Wang Shengnan packed a honey. "Make honey water for yourself in the school."

Lin Miaomiao got out of her room wearing a blue dress and black winter leggings and paired them with yellow socks. "Mom, are you kidding me? Even Grandma wouldn't dress like this."

"Your body is more important than how it looks. Besides, who's looking at you?" Wang Shengnan rebutted.

Deng Xiaoqi is coaxing the sad Miaomiao out of shame in the dormitory. All of the girls now know that she had her period. 

A while ago, when she was running to the dormitory, Wang Hongying shouted at her, "Your mother called; she said that 'that' is coming; avoid cold food and drink honey water." 

After she heard that, Miaomiao's face became pale as the girls around her looked at him and started laughing.

Inside the Class 1 classroom, Miaomiao was lying on her desk. She can't forget the look of the student who heard Wang Hongying's reminder at the dormitory. Deng Xiaoqi also heard the news about it, and now she is trying to coax Lin Miaomiao. 

"Xiaoqi! I'm embarrassed." She hugged Xiaoqi.

"It's nothing to be ashamed of. All of us had 'that' in the dormitory. So don't be sad anymore." Xiaoqi started brushing Miaomiao's head.

The students started to sit in their respective seats. Zhang Rongbao came. 

"Everybody quiet. Let me tell you something that has nothing to do with studying. The first hurdle for the student is life. This makes us teachers and parents very worried. I found some male students exercising naked on the playground. What happens? He catches a cold, right? And some girls-"

When Miaomiao heard this line, she subconsciously looked at Deng Xiaoqi and found that they were looking at each other.

"Some girls want to drink cold water in the autumn. How is it? She had a stomach ache. She had to call her parents to take her to the hospital." 

Lin Miaomiao started to open the book and hide her face. She hopes that the ground will eat her up at this point.

"I would like to talk to some girls in particular. Listen to me. Just a few days in a month, be sure to remember that." The student started laughing. Xiaoqi and Ye Bai look at Miaomiao with concern. 

The student in front of Lin Miaomiao turns around and looks at her. "What are you looking at? He's not talking about me." Miaomiao whispered and glared at the students around her.

Zhang Rongbao: "The boy also had a big problem; I will tell them later." 

A boy raised his hand and said, "Teacher, we have 'aunt' too," and the student started laughing again.

Sun Chuanchu, beside Ye Bai, also raises his hand. "Teacher, I have a stomachache; I think my 'aunt' comes." Lin Miaomiao turns to Ye Bai to check his reaction when she finds that he is looking at her with concern. She felt a sigh of relief. Sometimes it doesn't matter if the world laughs at you; what matters is the reaction of a special person.

"I'm the celebrity in the class now. The whole class now knows my period; are you satisfied now? Your daughter is famous for her period." Lin Miaomiao's aggrieved voice on the telephone. "Is this little thing worth shouting about? You tell my life teacher, it's okay, but you also tell our head teacher, do you really want the world to know?"

"What are you mad at? Mom told you that your body is important. Your body is my priority," Wang Shengnan responded. Lin Dawei is also listening to their conversation.

"When I go to college, I'll never go home again!" Miaomiao was really angry this time.

"You should pass the college exam first. Do you wear your winter leggings?"

"I'm not," Miaomiao responded angrily.

"Dymonerrhea is not a minor problem; if you don't wear it, I will come to your school." 

"OK, I will wear it. Bye-bye." Lin Miaomiao compromised and hung up.

After the call, she hurriedly looked for her winter leggings, scared that her mother had really come to the school just for this thing.

While the Lin parents were arguing about the call a while ago, the telephone rang again.

"Hello, Auntie, this is Ye Bai."

"Ye Bai, why did you call?" Wang Shengnan and Lin Dawei look at the call.

"Auntie, Miaomiao is really embarrassed in the class. If you have a reminder for Miaomiao, you can tell me, and I will tell it to Miaomiao."

When Lin Dawei heard it, he nodded. It was much better for Ye Bai to remind her daughter than for the whole class to know the situation. Wang Shengnan also takes his words seriously. "Okay, Ye Bai, I will tell you every month to remind Miaomiao that the girl is forgetful. Thank you."

If Miaomiao learns what Wang Shenganan and Ye Bai talk about, she will shout, 'Just tell my life teacher, why Ye Bai.' But she didn't know this conversation.
