Chapter 17

The sun is scorching at Elite High School. Many students stay in their classrooms and enjoy the shade of the ceiling. Except for the experimental class, or class 1.

"24, 25, Xiaoqi, hold me." Lin Miaomiao was lying on a mat. She was doing a sit-up, but Deng Xiaoqi couldn't cooperate and hold his leg.

"I can't do it; it's too sunny." Deng Xiaoqi made a shade using her hands to protect her face from the sun. 

"It's too hot; why did they let us do a physical exam on the playground?" Lin Miaomiao looks at her partner. "Xiaoqi, you said a pretty girl like you is beautiful in white and beautiful in black, and you are not afraid of the sun." Miaomiao covered her face with her hands. "Unlike me, I'm going to die in the sun. If only I had a bottle of cold water now."

Like God sent from heaven, Jiang Tianhao came with a different kind of bottled water. "Xiaoqi, these are good waters; which do you want?"

Jiang Tianhao fell in love at first sight with Deng Xiaoqi. He is the kind of person who is usually the villain of a novel, a second-generation heir, and the licking dog of a beautiful girl, but she isn't interested in him. But the only difference between the villain and Jiang Tianhao is that he is sincere toward Deng Xiaoqi. And he is not a bad, calculating bastard.

When Lin Miaomiao heard cold water, she quickly sat up and tried to snatch the cold water. Jiang Tianhao dodged Lin Miaomiao's hand. "Let Xiaoqi choose first." 

"I don't drink cold water," Deng Xiaoqi answered. Jing Tianhao, who is a great-licking dog, takes room-temperature water. "I was ready. This is sugar-free soda water; it has health benefits."

This is the chance for Miaomiao to take the cold water from Jiang Tianhao's hand. 

Lin Miaomiao was drinking the cold water when a hand snatched the bottle. When she saw that it was Ye Bai, Miaomiao angrily shouted, "Hey, I'm not finished drinking." Lin Miaomiao did not finish her word when Ye Bai drank the unfinished bottled water. 

Deng Xiaoqi and Jiang Tianhao were surprised by what Ye Bai did. 

Lin Miaomiao was startled, and a blush started to appear on her cheeks. 'Indirect kiss' even though she was innocent about love. She knows about 'kiss' and that's an 'indirect kiss'.

Deng Xiaoqi also feels a little flustered by what she witnessed. This is the kind that she only sees in romance stories. She glanced at Miaomiao and felt a little envious.

Qian Sanyi follows Ye Bai when he runs to the playground. When he saw this scene, he felt a little uncomfortable in his heart, but he didn't know why.

Jiang Tianhao broke the awkwardness by saying, "I have another cup of water here." He tried to give it to Miaomiao because she said that she was not satisfied yet. But before Lin Miaomiao could touch the bottle, Ye Bai snatched it again and finished it in a second. 

The shyness of Lin Miaomiao just a while ago was replaced with anger. Lin Miaomiao stood up, kicked Ye Bai's legs, and ran away. Deng Xiaoqi also follows Miaomiao in a hurry.

Ye Bai sat on the ground and held his legs where Miaomiao kicked her. 

Jiang Tianhao came closer to Ye Bai and said, "I didn't know you had that in you; please give me some tips." Ye Bai wanted to grab Jiang Tianhao, but it ran away. 

Qian Sanyi smiled when he saw this scene. He helps Ye Bai to stand up and walk to the soccer field.

"Wait for me, Miaomiao, don't run so fast," Deng Xiaoqi shouted.

After she kicked Ye Bai, she walked away. She didn't get far away when her stomach started growling. Of course, when you are hungry, go to the canteen. 

"Why are you running to the canteen? It will not run away from you," Deng Xiaoqi said.

Lin Miaomiao turned around and said, "If I don't eat actively, I will have a problem with my mentality." When she saw a telephone booth, she realized that she had forgotten to call her mother.

"Xiaoqi, you go first. I need to call my mother. I forgot to call her yesterday. She will kill me if I don't. Order me red sauce pork, scrambled tomato, chicken drumstick, and 2 bowls of rice. Okay!"

Deng Xiaoqi listed her order and walked first to where the canteen was.

Wang Shengnan received the call, and she started reminding Miaomiao to study and what to eat. He also wants her to update Miaomiao's pooping time.

"What are you saying? Do you want me to picture my poop just so you know?" Lin Miaomiao said in disbelief. She looked around to see if there were people around.

"Why not? I already saw your poop when you were little."

"Mom, don't worry about me so much; I know that I can take care of myself. Bye-bye!" and she hurriedly ran to the cafeteria.

When she saw Deng Xiaoqi waving at her, She hurriedly sat down and started eating. 

Deng Xiaoqi: "I will not help you order food anymore; the students think I eat a lot."

Miaomiao started eating happily: "Ahh, the combination of hot and cold" while drinking cold juice.

Deng Xiaoqi looked at her in disbelief when she saw Miaomiao finish her food. She looked at Miaomiao's petite body, and she was a little envious. "How come you ate so much and you didn't get fat? If I just had a little snack and my face started to bloat."

"Good genes!"

Ye Bai was reprimanded by the teacher because they left their assigned location. Even though he was worried about Miaomiao, he only sighed in regret. Jiang Tianhao, Qian Sanyi, and Ye Bai walked back to their classroom. after their lunch.

Even though Jiang Tianhao didn't like Qian Sanyi, he still treated him as a normal classmate.

Jiang Tianhao hurriedly ran to Deng Xiaoqi and asked her something when he found that Miaomiao didn't look good. "Miaomiao, are you alright?"

When Ye Bai saw this, he hurriedly told Jiang Tianhao to ask for leave from the teacher. 

As he helped Lin Miaomiao walk, he felt her hand being squeezed hard by Miaomiao. He quickly put her in the seat.

"It hurt so much, Xiaobai."

Ye Bai squats in front of her. "Come, I carry you."

Lin Miaomiao hugged Ye Bai's neck and started to piggyback on her. Although her stomach was in pain, she felt calm. She took a deep breath and took advantage of the time she was carrying.

"Xiaobai you're so good to me. I will share all my delicious food to you on the future."

When they were in the girl's dormitory, they were seen by Wang Hongying: "What are you doing carrying a girl on the school grounds?"

"Teacher Wang, Lin Miaomiao's stomach isn't good," Ye Bai explained. 

When Wang Hongying saw Miaomiao's pale face, "I will take care of her. Boys are not allowed here," and she carried Miaomiao inside the dormitory.

Ye Bai stopped there for a while, then walked back to the classroom. While walking, he bumped into Deng Xiaoqi, who was running to the dormitory. 

"Where is Miaomiao?" she asked.

Ye Bai: "The teacher took her to the dormitory."

"Don't worry, I will take care of her," Xiaoqi said and continued running.

Ye Bai knows that Miaomiao will be okay, but he can't help worrying. He poured all his worry into studying and memorizing. 

While Ye Bai took some textbooks, Jiang Tianhao came back from practice. "Studying again? I will cheer you on when you overtake the top-ranked."

Ye Bai looked at Jiang Tianhao and said, "Hey, how's your practice?"

"It's good. I got some news that there will be a basketball class competition. If ever it's true, join the team; your height is wasted if you just study."

"Who said I'm not playing basketball? I just don't want to take your limelight." Ye Bai acted like she was shooting.

"Really? Then, if you have time, let's play some ball. I mean, let's play basketball." 

"Sure, why not?"

Sun Chuanchu, who just came and said, "How about me?"

"Fatty, you need to diet a little," Jiang Tianhao suggested.
