Seven Years Later [Rewrite]

After joining the Hyoudou Family time seemed to go on relatively quickly. In the beginning, since I was a baby and couldn't do much I spent most of my time in meditation whenever I had the chance. Not only did it help quell my boredom in a really weird and mysterious way but it also helped to increase my mana and chakra reserves.

For the first year, nothing much happened but on my birthday at midnight, I was given a gift from the system. Well, I say gift but in fact, it was one of the wishes I asked God for but only now received. It was an [Origin Dimensional Stone], and the moment I brought it out of my inventory it left my hand and made contact with my forehead before slowly melting into my sea of consciousness.

The moment the [Origin Dimensional Stone] entered my sea of consciousness [Mind of Tranquility] went ramped trying to subdue part of the pain I was feeling before I eventually passed out.

When I woke up later that night I found myself standing above a small island. The island was barren and void of life, and instead of a blank sky in the air, I saw a vast layout of stars covering the skies. It was as if I had traveled into space, the experience left me in a daze before eventually, the system snapped me out of my daze with a sudden system notification.

[Heavenly World Creation - Optional Quest

Description: Now that you have your Heavenly World the only thing left is to cultivate it into a real-world rather than a small island.

Task: Gather enough mana into your Heavenly World and rank it up to First Sun Rank

Reward: World Power will now be available along with the [Heavenly World] function of the system and 10,000 SC]

From then on whenever I meditated I would almost always send a majority of what I gather into my Heavenly world while the rest went to my energy reserves. In the beginning, there was no change but after about seven years of following this procedure, I was finally able to see some change in my Heavenly World which I later named Haven since it would be my Safe Haven if I was ever in trouble. The changes I mentioned in Haven were the new additions to plant life as well as the small sun in the sky.

----

Besides matters related to Haven, my life as a member of the Hyoudou family was very peaceful and relaxing. Mom and Dad were very caring to both me and Issei, there honestly wasn't a single moment where I wished I didn't live in this family. As for my relationship with Issei, he saw me as a reliable big brother and I saw him as the little brother I never had in my past life.

Since I usually spent the majority of my life either meditating or accompanying mom to do some chores there were even a few times I played with Issei when he played with kids from the neighborhood. But in all fairness, I didn't find much enjoyment in playing with little kids since my stats made it so I could overpower everyone in any game, so playing with them was more work than play since I had to control my body to match their speed. I didn't want to be seen as abnormal after all so I always kept myself reserved when it came to physical labor types of tasks.

There were also times when I didn't want to play with Issei and his friends so to avoid Issei who would no doubt come looking for me I would usually hide in a closet before entering Haven. Over the past seven years, I wasn't just meditating I was also doing some small quests the system would give me every once and awhile. Usually, they were pretty simple tasks that gave me a little SC but every once and a while I got some interesting ones that gave me a lot of SC or even stat points. They sometimes ranged from simple manual labor tasks like mastering yoga to intellectual tasks like learning a new language, or even simple magical tasks like mana manipulation improvement.

By the time I turned seven years old, I not only mastered English (dominant language from a previous life), and Japanese (current dominant language), but even French and Italian. For manual related tasks, I was now semi-proficient in blacksmithing, farming, and cooking. While some might wonder how I was able to accomplish all of this when I'm only seven years old, it was simple really. I just used SC I earned from simple quests to buy equipment for the quests that gave larger more appealing rewards. Sadly because of this Haven was now almost always cluttered with random pieces of equipment lying around here and there.

But it wasn't just everyday skills that I was getting I even got a couple of combat-related skills in these past seven years leaving my status window to look like this:

/////////////////////

[Meditation] was a skill I obtained not long after meditating for the first time. [Pain Resistance] was obtained after I dislocated my shoulder when I tried lifting a couple of weights that were too much for me. [Mental Resistance] was obtained after the system kept trying to forcefully engrave a lot of information into my mind whenever I bought knowledge from it. [Mana Manipulation] was a skill I got after performing a lot of tasks related to pure mana usage. [Spiritual Sense] was the result of performing a certain task for a certain quest, and [Time Alter] was a skill I got from a Gacha ticket I received not long after I got [Spiritual Sense].

This sudden increase in strength was a good thing but I wasn't someone who only desired strength and discarded everything else. So when I didn't want to work, I would probably help mom out around the house or I'd rest inside of Haven while asking the system questions. Sometimes the questions were meaningless but sometimes I was able to get some useful pieces of information like:

----

Question: What are stat points and what can I do to get more of them?

Answer: Stat points allow me to raise one of my stats by one point, they are somewhat rare in the fact that they can only be obtained through certain quests given by the system

Question: Why don't some of the skills I buy in the shop appear on my status window?

Answer: What I buy isn't skills but the knowledge that is engraved into your subconscious. If it doesn't appear on the status window there are two reasons. 1) The skill is a derivative skill from another skill in my status window, or 2) I have no talent in that skill and can't use it efficiently

Question: I need to reach beyond Ultimate Rank to awaken my bloodline completely but what are these ranks?

Answer: The rank list is Low rank, then Mid rank, then Top rank, followed by Ultimate Rank and Super Rank. For normal people these ranks are divided into three tiers: Primary Tier, Intermediate Tier, and Peak Tier, but since I have the system I only need to worry about my rank and not my rank tier.

Question: What's the difference between ranks?

Answer: Low ranks are stronger than average members of their race; Mid ranks purify their bodies of impurities while also refining their mana making it stronger the purer it is; Top Ranks are beings who have almost reached the peak of what their bodies can withstand; Ultimate Ranks are being who have discarded their mortal shackles to obtain power; currently Super Ranks can be considered beings at the peak of this world having the strength to rival gods.

Question: How will I know when I reach a certain rank?

Answer: I need to raise all my stats above fifty to qualify for low-rank, one hundred and fifty for mid-rank, two hundred and fifty for top-rank, and go beyond five hundred the meet the requirements needed to break through to Ultimate Rank. The requirements for Super Rank vary depending on the individual.

----

After getting all of the information I needed I realized that getting strong would be harder than I originally expected. Since it wasn't easy getting Stat Points I couldn't rely on them to raise my stats so I could only ask the system for help on how to improve my physic to rank up, and the answer I got was:

*Ding* [Try to train your body, or buy a cultivation method from the [shop].]

For the record, while the [shop] was a super convenient system function that allowed me to buy certain items it has one flaw. It has too many items for purchase that I could literally spend a day looking through it and not even get through half of it. The system prioritized skills and weapons having them appear on the first few tabs of the shop while all other items were pushed behind that starting with food, clothes, materials, etc the list goes on.

Usually, whenever I needed something I asked the system to pull up the price so I wouldn't have to search for it, and because of that I never really checked everything the system has to offer. When I did, however, I lamented the fact because even the cheapest cultivation methods were ten thousand SC and up while body refining resources were at least a thousand SC.

I on the other hand only have a messily 241 SC. So knowing that I currently can't buy anything I wanted from the [Shop] I decided on training my body until I could afford a cultivation method.
