"The second batch has completed their evaluation, we will now move on to the next batch," said Mr. Lucas as he descended till when the students below saw him more clearly.

'i wonder when I will get the chance to enter that pagoda to test my powers' Dave thought as he stared at Mr. Lucas with hopeful eyes.

"Divine Country academy, Royal Country academy, Country Z academy, Country M academy, and Green Country academy" announced Mr. Lucas as he looked at where Dave's group was standing with an expectant gaze.

"That was unexpected," said Dave as he began to approach the pagoda along with his classmates.

"You can say that again," Muzi said as he also began to approach the pagoda with Miranda. With a surprised face, Dave asked Muzi.

"Wait, was your school also called out?"

"Yeah, I came from the Z Country academy. That's my group over there" Muzi said as he pointed his hands toward a group of tanned children entering the pagoda.

"Oh, ok" replied Dave as he got closer to the pagoda's entrance. But before he got into the pagoda, he stared at the ranking crystal as he thought.

'Let's see if I can meet up with you'

The student that is in the first place is not Craig Stones anymore but is Austin Phillips. His record is he has killed 7 peak Rank D, 1 initial phase, 2 middle, and 1 peak phase of Rank C beasts. Not only that, but he has reached the fourth floor of the pagoda.

After saying that in his mind, he turned toward the entrance as he got in. But immediately when he got in, The runes on the pagoda flickered a little to the extent that Mr. Lucas failed to notice that abnormality.

"This is how it feels like inside the pagoda," Dave said while standing on the first floor of the pagoda alone. Suddenly, the mist began to spread all over the floor as beasts began to appear right in front of Dave.

'Here it comes' Dave thought while entering his battle stance holding his sabers. The beast right in front of him was a dozen peak Rank D beasts and a Rank C beast in the initial phase standing at the back of the group. All these beasts were Tasmanian Tigers.

'Let's amass some kills before I get into the hard part' Dave thought as he suddenly dashed towards the beasts.

<LIGHT FLASH>

A trail of light ran through the dozen beasts only for some seconds before Dave could be seen standing at the spot he was standing previously.

Although the crowd outside watching his battle along with the Rank C beasts at the back of the dozen Rank D beasts had confused expressions on their face on what just happened, it quickly changed to that of disbelief since they saw a dozen beasts suddenly stopping along with six heads falling off from the bodies of the beast.

"This kid is really a rising star" Mr. Lucas commented while watching Dave disappearing from the first floor with a smirk on his face.

'Now for the second floor', Dave thought as he appeared on another floor. After some seconds, he finally began to see beasts appearing on the floor.

This time, there were only 7 peak Rank D Tasmanian beasts on the second floor. But they stood in an orderly manner compared to the beast on the first floor.

'These beasts are executing a battle formation!' Dave screamed in his mind as disbelief covered his face. But his face slowly changed into a confused one as asked in his mind.

'Why didn't I notice this when other students were fighting on this floor?'. But he forgot that he was only being attentive to Austin's battle who cleared the second floor way quicker than he could notice anything strange.

'Oh well, no worries. Even if there are more Rank D beasts in this battle formation, they won't slow down my pace' Dave thought as he used the same spell he used on the previous floor against the incoming beasts.

<LIGHT FLASH>

The same result that happened on the first floor appeared here again as Dave stood at the spot he was in previously while the heads of all the beasts on the second floor fell off from their bodies.

'I never knew that weakling will be this strong' Austin thought as he looked at the viewing screen with a surprised expression on his face. Although he had a pale face from the fight he had earlier, no injuries were seen on his skin which meant that he has been treated.

'Things are going to get harder from now' Dave thought while staring at the two beasts who were in the middle phase of the Rank C with a solemn gaze.

"Let's me see how you are going to deal with this," Mr. Lucas said with a smirk still on his face.
