*Chapter 30: Decisions~

Leiro's PoV

"Hey bud, I'll drive the van, okay? Just rest in the backseat with Lilith. Don't worry... I'll take care of it." Mark gently tapped me on the shoulder as Lilith opened the car door for us. The four of us quickly entered the van when Mark starting driving.

I still can't forget about what happened Lunely ... What if she disappears? What if she won't make it anymore? How about our plans? How can we...

I couldn't stop crying as I thought about it when Lilith tried to make me sleep. I wanted to break the window of our car but I remember that it wasn't mine so I tried to keep all my resentment to myself.

"Kuya Lei ... Please stay strong... I'm sure everything will be okay. Let's just believe that Lou will still be alive. I know Lou can do that so you have to be strong Kuya ..." Lilith cried while Yusarine just bent down next to Mark in the front seat. Even though Mark is also driving, sadness can also be seen on his face...

About five minutes later we reached the hospital. As soon as Mark's car stopped, I immediately got out to follow Lunely. I no longer ignored Yusarine and Lilith chasing me because my only thought now was to see Lunely. I immediately saw the rescuers descend with Lunely still breathing- yet it started to slow down.

I kept on saying random phrases when a doctor suddenly stopped me as Lunely entered the operating room. I didn't struggle anymore because I knew I couldn't go inside there.

"Doc, I'm begging you... Do everything you can to heal Lunely... I'm willing to pay for everything as long as you can her!" I begged the doctor when he just calmed me down and patted my shoulder and went inside the operating room, as my colleagues suddenly arrived.

"Lunely is already inside everyone. We made it time, and it all depends on them now... I hope to see Lunely again... I don't know what will myself to myself when she- when she..." I suddenly cried again as I slowly sat down on a bench near the operating room door as I tried wiping away my tears.

"Mark, can you buy our food outside? I'm sure there's fast food out there so you can buy us something to eat while we wait for Lou and Charlotte." Lilith said softly to Mark when I heard her unzipping her wallet. I secretly looked at them while Mark agreed to take the money from Lilith.

Mark started running out of the hospital while Yusarine was also uneasy about what happened. Lilith gently comforted her when she suddenly remembered something.

"And yes Yusarine. I'm sure Charlotte will wake up anytime. Can you watch her first in Room 12 while brother Lei and I will wait here for Lunely's operation?" Lilith smiled at Yusarine as she first tried to wipe away her tears when she started walking towards Room 12- just a few doors maybe from the operating room.

Now it's just Lilith and I alone...

Lilith slowly sat down next to me once she adjusted her white skirt and set aside her small shoulder bag. Seconds passed I felt a slight pinch on the left side of my arm. I turned around slightly when I saw Lilith gently fixing her skirt, telling me to lay down my head on her lap.

"C'mon brother... You deserve a rest." Lilith smiled at me as I gently laid my head on her lap. When I felt heat on my cheek that I couldn't stop crying again ...

"All right brother... Just take it out. All the pain, the anger, as well as the resentments you keep in your heart, just take it all out brother Lei ... I'm just here for watch over you Brother... I will never leave you, okay?" I was still crying as Lilith gently pet my head. My, it's a bit embarrassing... I'm letting my little sister pamper me in public.

But it doesn't matter right now. I don't care about those around me right now, because the only thing on my mind is Lunely. I know Lilith feels everything too so I'm thankful because she's there now beside me...

"Doc, how was it? How's Lunely? Is she okay?" I asked her softly as Lilith took her hand to calm me down a bit.

"We successfully removed the bullet from her back so she will be fine. The bullet also did not hit any internal organs so rest assured she will be awakened anytime."

The doctor smiled at me as I almost knelt down... Thank you so much!!! Thank you and they didn't leave Lunely on her own...Thank you and you gave her another chance... Now I can rest peacefully now that Lunely's fine.

"There is a chance that you will forget your girlfriend, yet it can be brought back if someone tells you about it. Memory loss can be treated with care, and trust me ... Most amnesia are not permanent."

Well, I guess I felt happy after I heard those words. Even if I lose Lunely in my mind, I can feel that everything will be fine as long as she is by my side.

"Mr. De Guzman, please wait here for a moment. I'll just take care of it." The doctor replied to me when they suddenly left the room and I was the only one left as I started crying again...

"Doc? How was it? How is Lunely? Will she be okay doc?"
