Every single flipping character is arrogant. Except for a very, VERY few, all of them are just a bunch of arrogant bastards. It always goes like: Enemy: “You’re a piece of sh*t, I will take everything you own cause you ain’t worthy, blah blah blah...” Mc’s previous enemy: ‘Oh no, oh no, what do I do?’ Then gets dragged down by the enemy, saying that he should also mock him. Mc: Shows power Somebody powerful: “Ok ok, break it up, don’t be so UNFAIR to the enemy.” It’s not like the enemy was gonna kill you and take everything you had if you were weak, NOT AT ALL.
the concept of this book is really nice to think about but the execution is just horrible, the author repeats the same plot over and over just with different characters there's far too many plot holes to count and literally every single minot or major antagonist always say or think the exact same thing about the mc with zero originality. mc meets Mr bad man, Mr bad man severely underestimate s the mc and acts all high and mighty repeating the same scene over and over even when the mc becomes extremely well known and powerful its the exact same thing the Mr big bad acts like they've never heard of him(even if they have) and assume he's weak simply because he's not them even though he has several outstanding achievements under his belt. Good concept but terrible execution. 90% chapters are wasted in people thoughts. Stupid Young masters will call MC weak, stupid and many things but people who know his strength will not tell them about him but waste 90% arguing in their mind. If they say things aloud then most drama could be avoided. MC will not explain anything which result in uncecessary conflict. I decided to drop after too much repetition of same thing. Also most people are one dimensional. They don’t any live and are only cardboard copy. Example: dragon girl who follow MC. She can be replaced with a mindless puppet that can’t talk and you won’t see the difference.
As a person who's read at least 400 chapters of this novel, I can say this with confidence. This novel is TRASH. Every character, and I mean EVERY, who isn't the mc is just there to suck the MC's d¡ck and big him up. Almost every side character has the exact same personality. Almost all interactions when a new character gets introduced goes the same way. This is the epitome of all chinese cliches, except arbitrarily hiding his powers. It constantly likes to talk about how mages from the future are so much better but the only reason any named Mage reached any type of prominence is because of some artifact they found from the past. The plot of every arc is the EXACT same. This novel is doodoo
I really like the story. Like, I really like it! The thing is, there is an acute lack of female characters. I get it, the author is probably a guy, but still. One needs to mix things up once in a while. I'm not necessarily asking for romance here, I just want some strong female characters. This is the only thing keeping it from a perfect five to me.
a good premise. my only complaint is the repetitions in the explanations. ive read a few hundred chapters and 2/3 are reexplaining the same concept endlessly. i hope this is due to translation loss and not actual writing quality. the readable parts are entertaining. however i cannot enjoy a book that spends most of every chapter reexplaining what it said in chapter one.
can not recommend this book anymore. Update Frequency dropped below 1/week and no reason/statements given. Otherwise Interesting ish Storyline. Some chapters in between felt badly written (think filler episodes) but mostly enjoyed it. Although typical extremely repetitive stupid enemies. Very repetitive. classical chinese Webnovel Style.
This novel is so frustrating to read. it's start off Really good but i'm sure a lot of peaple will agree with me on just one point that Ruined this novel for me. everything is good only the time it takes for the Mc's to respond to the enemies. First of all, he let them do the **** they want and he takes to long to respond he dosen't give a **** . and to make matters worst when he does respond he forgives them easily as if ALL THE SHIT THEY DID DIDNT MATTER. I tried coming back to finish it but it's just UNREADABLE and So Frustrating to Read. a good story is suposed to make me excited . but this one is a complete Turn off.
Well, at the begin the book is fine but the more you read the more you want to slap the mc. He doesn’t talk and lets others insult him all the time, he waits until it has become a big problem to kill everyone, like he doesn’t care if the people are innocent. Apart from the mc, his friends always stay the same, same problems, same behavior. They simply don’t learn anything apart from idolizing the mc all the time. The traduction is actually quite good, very few errors. The problem is the story is ‘what you do at toilets’. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Every single part of this piece of **** is extremely long winded and incredibly boring. If you want to read a story that wastes more than half of almost every chapter, you should read this. The author seems to believe that having **** characters that all obsess over how ridiculous the main character is, and how 'he can't be offended by you' is a good idea. All we need is the main character's perspective of events, but we get the perspective of every useless cunt that the mc ever fucking meets. This is unbelievably **** and I'm embarrassed to call this road-kill dumpster fire skid-mark a novel.
First things first: I have read 700ch here and the rest in MTL, which I REGRET now))) 1)About the world: the world has a very interesting background, to the point that I was ready to tolerate all the things mentioned below. Flashbacks to the worlds ending times, MC's speculations on why the world was destroyed and all the thing related to this point were very interesting, and the development of this story line... although rather slow - but very enjoyable and many-sided. 2)About the story: keeping aside the world ending story line as the main background story - one the foreground it is a very dull story. I won't grumble about cliche of reincarnation in the past and etc., but the face slapping part of the story is really frustrating. We all know how stupid antagonists in Chinese novels may be, but this novel took this on a whole new level. Stupid, greedy, completely braindead in their unreasonableness characters keep popping up one after another. And another problem is that it forms an unending cycle, so this part of the plot becomes boring after chapter 100... 3)Characters... The only so-so deeply described character in the novel is MC. Although he has ample companions, they look more like NPC-partners in games designed to die 5mins after the mission begun - 0 backstory, 0 motivational explanation, 0 self-drive description. The only funny part here is Xiuban-Enderfa-Shawn interactions, and some later loolzz about Shawn managing manpower in the half-plane. A bonus for everyone who read until here: this novel is NOT FINISHED! Or rather the ending is a rushed description of the following thousands years half a chapter worth(yes, not even a complete chapter, but just a second part of the chapter, the first part of which didn't have even a slightest hint that the novel is about to end). Not a single main story question was answered, not a single MC/companion story line finished. The previous chapter it looked like there is at least 200-300 chapters to go(up to a thousand at max) until the end, and the next chapter the novel "ends", if you can call it an end. Despite all flaws and INFURIATINGLY stupid antagonists I was pretty much enjoying this story, it would have an overall 3+ from me, 5+ for search of the "black hand behind the world ending" story line. But I can't forgive the author for dropping it almost near the end and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has not yet started reading this.
The story is just always repeating...like some arrogant genius will offend the mc but the mc will just think that he is an idiot then the the genius will learn that mc's power and will becom fearful. After learning hus wrongs he will and follow the mc and will become it's friend. From the start of the story until the chapter 500+ where I choose to stop reading you will find that is what always happen when the mc is socializing with other people and the only changes is the strength and status of those who offen the is becoming higher than the other. And there are also not that much of girls in the story.
