Monster Inside

"Yaseo! What are you doing get out of there!" Ochiyo said as she geared up her power suit.

Yaseo stared at me and noticed me walking toward him. He noticed my eyes shining a bright blue with purple pupils. His scanner beeped the began to malfunction and broke. He took a step back then fired a bullet at me. The bullet went through my arm then an orange flame appeared where he bullet wound was and instantly healed my arm.

"Yoshida! Yoshida can you hear me?!" Himeko yelled and grunted.

"Die you monster!" Yaseo bellowed and fired a bullet through my chest.

I grunted as the bullet went through my heart then I fell to my knees. Yaseo panted and looked at me. Karasu watched me and hurried over to me.

"Yoshida! Yoshi-" She started and noticed the life come back into my eyes and looked surprised.

My monster aura healed my heart then I stood up. Yaseo grunted then flew off. I watched him and summoned a void, making him fly in the void. Another opened and the void blasted him against the wall. Yaseo groaned as he slammed against the wall.

Yaseo grunted then stood up and looked at me. He yelled and ran toward me and slashed, slicing off my arm. I roared and punched his face, knocking him through a shop window. My monster aura flowed around my severed arm then constructed a new arm for me.

"What the heck is this..? He has regenerative powers as his base abilities..? Wait...is he immortal..?" Karasu asked in awe.

I grunted and my body shook then I was about to lunge at Yaseo, but Karasu grabbed me and held me back.

"Yoshida stop it! You'll destroy the entire mall if you keep going!" Karasu yelled.

I yelled and pushed Karasu away. I no longer had control over myself. I couldn't control myself anymore.

"If she's so important to you for you to turn into a monster then it's better if you join her in the afterlife!" Yaseo bellowed and propelled himself toward me.

He slashed at me but his energy sword broke when it hit my body. His eyes widened then he groaned and coughed blood when I struck his stomach.

"I won't let you kill her!" I roared and launched him across the mall.

Yaseo crashed through multiple signs and rolled on the floor then coughed more blood. He grunted softly then stood up slowly.

Nene watched in terror and flew into the mall. "We need to stop him!"

"All units...kill them..!" Yaseo commanded.

All of Yaseo's units took aim at me and Karasu then began to rapidly fire their bullets at us. I grunted and looked at Karasu then summoned a void to protect her. The void absorbed the bullets then turned red and fired a powerful beam of Abyss Energy at the units.

Nene dodged the beam and looked back and noticed the beam strike the units then a massive explosion happened in the air.

"Units T19, J43, F411, I0, and U327 are down!" Nene yelled. "Yaseo stop trying to attack them! This is just like what happened 20 years ago! Just stop!"

"No...All monsters must die! ALL REMAINING UNITS SUMMON YOUR MECHAS!" Yaseo commanded.

I looked at the units and noticed them summon their Mechas. They aimed their cannons at me and Karasu then charged an energy beam at me.

Ochiyo quickly flew toward the Kurosawa Mall. "All Units, Stop your attack!"

I noticed Ochiyo and growled.

Ochiyo's golden eyes shined as she looked down at me. Her silver hair flowed in the air as she hovered in the air with her power suit. She unsheathed her energy broadsword and pointed it at me. "You need to calm down. Your rage will cause you to create a Collosal Burst and we don't need that! Listen to me Yoshida, find your inner peace!"

"You have to find a way to kill him! If he loses control like this, he will do it again in the future!" Yaseo yelled.

Ochiyo landed in front of me then stared at me. "Your energy...it feels just like Apeiron's. The connections can not be just a coincidence...A Human...and a Monster. You're a hybrid. Seeing how you just used the Abyssal White Monster's power...you can call upon the powers you obtain."

Karasu looked at Ochiyo then looked at me. "Are you saying...he's Apeiron's...SON?!"

I glared at Ochiyo then dashed toward her. "I won't let you take her away!"

Ochiyo braced herself then dodged my punch. She went for a counter then grunted as I dodged her slash. I roared and kicked her stomach. Her eyes widened then she coughed and was blown away. She landed on her feet and propelled herself toward me.

She slashed at my neck, but I ducked under her attack then struck her with an uppercut then roared. I launched her upwards then summoned a void that sucked her in then summoned another to launch her back down to the floor. She groaned and coughed.

Yaseo flew toward me and roared. He slashed then Himeko flew toward him and blocked the attack. He looked surprised as he noticed Himeko. "Himeko?!"

Himeko glared and pushed him away. "Maybe you all didn't learn from 20 years when Apeiron attacked, but killing monsters only start more problems than it does solve them! I can't let you kill him. If we want a safe world, we will have to have Yoshida tame them!"

"You're wrong! How many lives have to be lost until we understand Humans and Monsters can not coexist?! How many times must we do this before we eventually lose all of humanity?!" Yaseo yelled.

Himeko looked back at me then smiled then looked at Yaseo and glared. "Karasu hasn't taken any lives since she's been here. Rimuri hasn't taken any lives since she's been tamed! What more proof do you need that Yoshida is the key?! This doesn't stop the Monsters from appearing! Yoshida...my boyfriend is the key to saving us!"

Yaseo laughed and pointed his gun at Himeko. "Ahh...Himeko Amaya, a lonely woman with nothing better to do than to chase after men and smoke cigarettes...calls this MONSTER her lover and wants to save them? I'm glad you quit. You and Naora were nothing but wasted potential!"

I grunted as I heard him mention Naora's name.

"You two whores belong in the dirt just like the other Monsters like Apeiron!" Yaseo bellowed and fired a bullet at Himeko.

I rushed in front of Himeko and took the bullet for her. Himeko looked at me a bit surprised. Yaseo, Nene, and Ochiyo were surprised as well. Karasu watched as I had saved Himeko, a human.

"You mentioned Apeiron...I know her name now. She's the mother of me and Orimi. She abandoned us just like our father. I don't know why...but that's no longer important!" I said then groaned as the strain in my body began to take over. I fell on one knee and red lightning crackled around my body.

"Although he's a monster...he's still half human. He can't surpass his human limitations." Ochiyo said and lowered her sword.

My monster aura vanished then I panted heavily. I was exhausted. I looked up and tried to stand, but I fell back down on my knee.

"Our chance!" Yaseo bellowed and dashed to me.

Himeko ran forward and intercepted Yaseo. "Karasu! Take Yoshida and escape!" Himeko commanded.

Karasu nodded and ran toward me then helped me. She couldn't fly since I was too heavy for her to carry. She ran toward an exit.

"Don't let her escape, Unit N311E!" Yaseo commanded.

"Do not pursue!" Ochiyo ordered. Her orders surpasses Yaseo's orders.

Nene did not pursue us and watched Karasu and I escape the mall.

"What the fuck is wrong you, Commander?! You're letting them escape?!" Yaseo bellowed.

"You've seen what he can do, Commander Yaseo. He's unkillable." Ochiyo said then sheathed her sword.

"No he isn't! If we destroy his entire body, he won't come back! All units! Target them now!" Yaseo bellowed.

Karasu grunted as she ran with my arm around her shoulder. I grunted as well, but I was growing tired. She looked back and noticed the MHF Units targeting us. They all fired a beam of energy at us.

A void opened up and absorbed the energy then turned red and fired a massive beam of energy back at the units. The beam hit the units and an explosion happened in the sky.

Mae stopped the car. "Get in!"

Karasu looked at Mae then helped me inside the car and got in herself. Mae hit a quick U-Turn and drove away at high speeds.

"That traitor! What does she think she's doing?!" Yaseo bellowed. "Nene! Go after them now!"

"It's too late." Ochiyo said then closed her eyes. "She isn't a traitor. I gave her all the information she wanted then fired her. She's free to use that information however she wants. She's only doing what she believes is right...or at the very least agrees with Nene's ideals."

"What..?" Yaseo asked and looked at Nene.

Nene looked down and watched the falling pieces of scrap metal hit the ground. "We caused this...I knew from the moment we encountered Karasu. She didn't cause a Collosal Burst because she can control her energy. Rimuri couldn't and she expressed confusion and sadness when we attacked her. The difference between them and Apeiron is...Apeiron wanted to destroy the Earth. They don't.."

"Are you serious?! Think about what that Collosal Burst did to your parents! Your friends! Over 200,000 people were KILLED! Have you forgotten that?!" Yaseo bellowed.

Nene stayed silent as she watched the smoke clear.

"If you want to enter this war with them, by all means...go ahead, but I am not going to keep doing the same thing over and over. Yoshida saved Himeko, a human. In fact he saved all of us. Two weeks ago, he stopped Rimuri's void from destroying Japan by taming her." Ochiyo said then tossed Yaseo her badge.

Yaseo caught the badge and watched Ochiyo leave. "Where are you going?!"

Ochiyo stopped walking and looked back at Yaseo. "I quit. You can have the Top Commander position. I can tell you believe you can do my job better. You've ignored most of my commands so you're lucky I haven't fired you yet. So, I'm giving my position to you. Good luck, Commander Yaseo."

Yaseo watched Ochiyo leave then Himeko followed behind. Nene watched them and looked at Yaseo then closed her eyes and flew away. They all left him alone to himself.

"Just as I suspected...Yoshida and Orimi are hybrids. I found it strange how he came back from two deaths." Mae said.

"Make it three." Karasu said. "He died when Yaseo shot his heart and he came back. He doesn't only have resurrection, but insane regenerative capabilities! I believe he's the only monster like that."

"Taken Orimi is his sister, I'm sure she can do the same. Looking at the information Ochiyo sent me...he has a Rare Energy not recorded within the 18 Monster Energies recorded. It's called Arje Energy...the same energy Apeiron has but it's slightly different. Apeiron has Primordial Energy since she's the Originator. Technically Yoshida and Orimi are older than you and Rimuri." Mae said.

"Older than us?" Rimuri asked.

"They were the first two monsters created in a sense. All we have to go off of is that Yoshida can wield Primordial Power until we figure out his actual Energy." Mae said.

Karasu looked down at me. I was knocked out cold from exhaustion. She moved my hair from my eyes then blushed when I had leaned over and rested against her after Mae took a right turn. She just let me rest and looked out the window.

"So what now..? What's the plan?" Karasu asked.

"We retreat to Yahoma. We have no choice. The MHHQ controls Kurosawa, Asamaki, and Kurosaki. The MPT seems like they control Yahoma, Yukihori, and half of Fujitori. I didn't even realize how close Fujitori and Yahoma were. Yahoma is just on the other side of Kurosaki which is a three day trip. We did have to drive 24 hours from Fujitori to Kurosaki. No matter what we're going to be near the MHF...we have to prepare ourselves to be ten steps ahead of them." Mae answered.

"We need to kill Yaseo if we want to end their reign. As long as they keep attacking us, they will be the ones to cause more destruction. Rimuri's case was different. She was new to this. She had no control over herself." Karasu said.

"Hey, I can very much control my powers now!" Rimuri said.

"Now. As long as you keep it under control, we'll have no issues." Karasu said.

"Ahh so you're half monster huh. Honestly I'm not too shocked." Fujin smiled.

"Y-You're not? You don't hate us?" Orimi asked.

Fujin ruffled Orimi's hair gently and smiled. "No, Hun. I suspected it when Yoshida told you to leave without him. I figured it out when we were at the Arcade and Rimuri talked about Mae being his murderer. Then the fight between Mae and Rimuri...then his courage to save Karasu. It was evident that he was some form of monster."

Orimi smiled a bit and looked down. "He was always the tougher one between us. He protected me from bullies and bad people. I could see the look in his eyes when he protected me. They were feral...like he was ready to kill. I want to do more for him.."

"You'll have your chance, Orimi..~ Come on let's finish packing. We have a long trip ahead of us to Yahoma~" Fujin smiled.

Orimi nodded and smiled. "Okay!~"
